I have used Daniel since 2011 to completely renovate three bathrooms, install engineered hardwood in 4 bedrooms and now to replace all the tile on the remaining floors in my house. Obviously, I am pleased with his work and price or else I wouldn't continue using him. Additionally, I plan on using him to install backsplashes in my kitchen when my cabinets are refaced in a couple of weeks. On this particular job, we looked at floor tile at all the usual subjects, HD, Lowe's, Major tile distributor and then went to Daniel where we are able to pick a tile within 1/2 hour. Install started on Monday, 4/7 with removal of all furniture to be stored in our garage and out of the way. Tuesday and 3/4 day Wednesday, was the tear-out. Daniel warned us that this is a messy job and dust would be everywhere. However, his crew taped up all the doors to the rooms not being worked on and with the AC turned off at the breaker, the amount of dust that got into the other rooms was minimal. Thursday through the following Friday (excluding the weekend), the tile was laid grouted and cleaned. On Saturday, the baseboards were installed and on Monday, his crew came back to move the furniture back in. On Tuesday the 22nd,he had a cleaning person come in to dust and clean the areas where work was performed. Daniel told us up-front to allow 3 days for the furniture and removal with the total job taking 11 to 12 business days. He was spot on. The floor is beautiful and his crews are truly artists. As an addendum, I received quotes from three different providers (I like Daniel, but I also want to make sure I am getting a reasonable price). There was one low-ball which I dismissed and he was right in line with another very highly rated Angie's List provider. having used Daniel in the past, it was no contest. I highly recommend him for all flooring needs and bathroom remodeling. His crews are the neatest and cleanest I have ever come across.

It went very went beyond our expectation. form the start to finish they have been very professional and honest. We called Daniel one morning and he sent his sale rep with in 2 hours, he measured and then we drove to Daniel's showroom and was greeted well and given proper attention, time and education. After looking at all laminates we were not sure which one to go with and i was about to leave. Daniel offered us to take samples with us home and told us that we don't have to drive back to showroom ( and one of his rep will be them up from our house) which is about 45 min drive from our Boca house to his showroom in Ft. Lauderdale. When we brought home sample within a minute we knew what we wanted to have it in our house. good advise form him to take samples home. Anyway project started on time on scheduled day and workers Danis and Brandon were very knowledgeable and performed a fabulous job. Last day Danis called me while i was at work and informed that there are about 5 boxes short. I asked we did order 10% extra as per their measurement.. Anyway one of Daniel guy picked up extra boxes from warehouse and dropped at our house next morning to complete installation. After the project is completed Daniel called to get remaining balance and he said since the wrong measurement was our mistake and i will not charges you for those extra 5 boxes ( which was about $300 cost ) he said i am the man of my words and just pay the remaining balance as we discussed. In my opinion he is very honest and professional and can be trusted. His material and labor cost is very competitive even if you thinking to buy material online. regards

Went as promised, 5 days in and out!

This is the second time we worked with Daniel's Flooring. They are excellent professionals, like always on time with all the dates (start and finish). Adrian did an excellent job installing the tile. Everybody that visited us said that the house looks great, perfect job!!!! The guy who install the baseboard (sorry I don't remember his name) did a great job and helped us with some details. They finished the job and everything was clean, they removed all debris. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I called Daniel on Wednesday, the day prior I received my service, and he responded quickly with a quote and news that he had the flooring to match. He sent Justin the following day, Thursday, to install the wood flooring molds. Justin was prompt and thorough. Overall, a great job!

Overall it went well. They were able to come the same day & install the carpeting when we needed. Our biggest complaint would be that they scuffed up the stairs & walls. In addition to breaking a light fixture. There wasn't time to replace the lighting fixture, so they did give us cash to go out & try to find a matching light fixture for our stairwell.

First of all, Daniel was very professional and helpful at the showroom. We came back several times looking for the right match. He was always extremely patient. Daniel Flooring came within a few weeks and installed the new flooring and it looks great. The team here, Dennis and Brandon, were very professional and courteous at all times. The flooring looks great, and it has transformed our home.

We hired Daniel Flooring to tile our family room and sunroom with 24 inch porceilan tiles. We first went to the showroom to pick out the tile and shortly thereafter they came out for measurements and to do the work. The job was completed in 4 or 5 days. The installers were very good and knew what they were doing. There were a couple of things I had questions on along the way and Daniel and his installers were very responsive to me. I would definitely recommend their work.

We are pleased with the result. I gave a B rating for price because I thought it was a bit high; however, the overall performance and result received an A rating.

Daniel is great! He had a lot of patient with us; we change a couple of times what we want to do in a house we want to sale! Finally they did 1200 sf on tile and 900sf of carpet. They were very professional, they show on time and finish their job BEFORE the date Daniel promise it. Excellent job, we have already two friends that are going to call him for a job and we will use them next year for our house.

Wrote a positive review as the job was nearly finished; however, regrettably after about a month the installed floors began deteriorate in parts. While Daniel flooring somewhat fixed one part, the other parts they refused to fix. The quality of the installed laminate is questionable & the manufacturer's representative sent by Daniel flooring said the damage came from moisture due to floor washing. We did not poor buckets of water on the floor believe us & now we are stuck with $4,250.00 floors that are damaged after two months of installation. The name is Vizcaya laminate so whatever you decide on I suggest you to pass on this product. What a waste of hard-earned money & what a disappointment!! UPDATE: Provider states that I wrote an A review prior to everything happening - True but only based on work being unfinished at the time of review written. It was a great MISTAKE on my part. Provider states that he will be willing to work with me - NOT TRUE! In fact, the first "resolution" went entirely bad. Daniel (the owner) send his employee who was extremely UNHAPPY with coming back to the point that my wife felt so uncomfortable around him she had to leave as she couldn't take it any more. The employee DID NOT perform the work properly stating it was "impossible". He clearly DID NOT WANT TO BE THERE and perhaps I do understand maybe he had to go someplace else for another job, but clearly this should've not been my problem but his employer, which is Daniel Flooring. Then Daniel gave us a phone number of the manufacturer's rep. who at the point of initial contact was YELLING at me as though I have committed a mortal sin by calling him. ONLY after I confronted him of being RUDE he calmed down a little, but still when he came to inspect he blamed all the damage on me as though I have committed a mortal sin by simply washing my floors. Daniel DID NOT WANT to deal with this manufacturer's rep. and instead had me to go through all this hustle. Weeks went by and after I called Mr. Daniel he stated that the manufacturer's rep. Mr. Miller said and I quote: "this was a customer's error and he DID NOT recommend any additional services to be performed". Immediately mu wife contacted Mr. Miller and asked him if he did indeed "not recommend" any services for us and he said "THIS WAS NOT WHAT I SAID." In fact, he said that Daniel should work with his customer and try to resolve this issue. However, Mr. Daniel chose to lie to the customer in such entirely UNPROFESSIONAL way. NOW he says he is willing to work with me, but this is also a lie. When I called and ask if he is going to do anything, he clearly said NO. Only after the negative review he thought otherwise, but common I can only take so much of this HORRIFIC experience and I would rather pay to SOMEONE ELSE who can treat me as a paying customer, not some kind of a low life second grade citizen. Every time I had to call him, it was just like pulling teeth experience and the question thus arises as to why I felt this way... On top of everything, there are so many installment errors the list is VERY LONG. The stairway's bullnoses are constantly coming UNGLUED and we have to buy the glue and REPAIR it OURSELVES. We were told that this is "normal" and something we have to do until well, forever. The stairway's was done very badly upon closer inspection, bottom step has GLUE ALL OVER that you can see the moment you walk into the house. There are GAPS between the stairway's close side skirtboard and the tread that are VISIBLE every time we go up the stairs. Inside the closet there is a space missing the floor and it is SUNKEN in part. I'm writing all of this so you don't think it's a personal vendetta because Daniel Flooring did not replace a part of the damaged flooring - this review this for you FUTURE CUSTOMERS and perhaps you will have a better luck that I've had but I had to do something because I cannot stand when people lie to my face, particularly when I'm paying for it. Now I just have to worry EVERY SINGLE DAY if a drop of water will hit those floors from h***. I'm running around with a towel wiping every drop that happened to be there (after a shower etc). NO CARE PACKAGE for the floors was offered by the provider, Nor did the sales rep informed me that these floors CANNOT BE WASHED EVER with ANYTHING! Now I feel like a complete idiot because I do like to clean my floors & how in the world are these floors can be good for pets??!! Pets make a mess as we all know & who would not be cleaning after them - hello?! I'm sure you the consumer are getting my point by now and thanks for reading. We had a existing floor that had been painted over with a nasty grey paint which had to be removed. A few other installers I spoke with wanted an extra $2-$3/SF just for the removal. Daniel Flooring did the job for $3.50/SF which seems to be average for the area, and got the paint removed without any problems. The initial consultation was prompt and very knowledgeable. The store had a great selection of tiles. And the installer worked very quickly to get the job done over the weekend, but still did a very nice job. We would definitely use them again.

Everything went well. Dennis and his partner worked well. They cleaned up after each day and were professional. And we love our floors!

On time, polite brought samples to my home. Really appreciated the free estimate and the time they spent coming to my home. Just too expensive-not competitively priced. maybe they need to stock lower priced carpeting. . . . . I would have used this company had they been less expensive or been able to provide a cheaper alternative.

Let me just say this, AWESOME! I spoke with Daniel about a week before the installation began. He was very responsive and fair in his pricing. He was also able to fit me into the schedule (my job was a relatively small one). I had originally had a different contractor install all new laminate flooring on the second floor of my townhouse. Unfortunately, this contractor bailed out on me, leaving me with no new flooring in the closets. Daniel to the rescue. He sent over 2 guys (Pat and Bob) who were just amazing -- professional, nice, clean and timely. They installed the laminate flooring in the 3 closets in under 5 hours. I wish I had used Daniel Flooring from Day One. I would definitely recommend them!

We contacted 3 different companies for quotes. One came in very high and we didn't like the salesman. One came in very low, then we realized he didn't include pricing for various items that were required for the job - plus he could not guarantee a finish date within 2 months. So Daniel's salesman came out, measured, chatted for a while (really likable guy) and the quote came in a little higher than we expected - considerably higher than our budget. So we called Daniel, explained the situation, and he made some changes to the quote - BAM $500 under our budget. So we went to his showroom to select tile. We chose one of better quality than originally intended, but still stayed really close to our budget. Then my wife asks, "When can you start?" He replied, "Monday if you want." (it was Thursday). DEAL - he even tried to help us get a discount on pod storage, but it didn't work out. No problem though. He was very accommodating and ordered the materials on the spot. His installers showed up on time Monday morning as scheduled. They worked everyday, including Saturday for the next 8 days - always on time, always professional. We had a few issues (water damage and an outer door threshold problem) that needed some repair. They allowed me to repair what I could, then chipped in and completed the repairs without any additional charge. They allowed me to upgrade my baseboard at no additional charge. The baseboard installers were average compared to the tile installers. They are not very friendly and the workmanship was okay, but not the greatest. When all done, the tile installers came back on Saturday and moved all of the furniture back in. There were a few areas with grout problems and one tile that was higher than the others so when they came back to move furniture, they also fixed all of our minor concerns with a smile. When it was all to our satisfaction, Daniel worked with us to pay him in full with not a single additional or hidden charge - exactly what he quoted us is what we paid. The whole experience with Daniel was excellent. I would HIGHLY recommend doing business with this company.

To give some background, I received two previous estimates for my job. One estimate was emailed the day after measuring and the other estimate was given on the spot. I decided to give Daniel Flooring a call after signing up with Angie's List thinking that if they were rated so highly and reviewed so well, then they must live up to their reputation. This was not the case. I contacted Daniel Flooring and set up a date to have a measurement taken for an estimate on hardwood floor refinishing. Appointment was kept promptly and met with a nice Daniel Flooring employee. So far so good. Waited about two to three days, after not receiving a response I called and was told by the owner that they were busy and I would receive an emailed estimate by the end of the day. No email. I said to myself "that's fine and they are busy so be patient." A week goes by and I called again. Spoke with the owner and he reiterated that they have been busy and I confirmed my email with them and was promised an emailed quote by the end of the day. I am a patient person, but this was starting to get ridiculous. So for a third time a week goes by and I figured I would give them one last chance. I called for a third time, this time the owner claimed they had my email address wrong. I gave him my email address again and was promised the same thing as I had before. No email was received by the end of the day. After this I figured it was three strikes and your out. As a current construction worker and current business owner, when I have someone contact me with a $3000 job I tend to jump, but hey I suppose that's just me. That is why Daniel Flooring has lost my business and I would not believe everything I read on Angie's List. I'm glad I only signed up for a month. Hope this review helps, Ross Belkin

First day scheduled was a rain out, they could not cut the laminate or the base molding, so they came back the next day and did it all in one day. Very efficient and really did a good job. The same thing happened a week later to install the carpet ( rain out), ame back next day and had everything done within four hours, even though they had to go to a different location to cut the carpet to size and come back. Very efficient.

We needed to have our flooring in our two story home replaced. A co worker told me about AngiesList and a flooring company she highly recommended. We visited the showroom and two others. This company did not attack us at the door, nor direct us to what they wanted us to buy but gave us a chance to walk around and find what we thought would be beautiful in our home. Daniel offered help when it seemed we were completely confused and offered his direction as we did not know pricing at the time but only went with gut feelings on what we hoped would be good for us. We were not ready to sign a contract nor commit to anything. Daniel was very cool with that. Daniel impressed us with his calming manner, concern over what we wanted to accomplish and despite our indecision still, he gave us space and made himself available when we were ready. We left the showroom after deciding this was going to be the company we would use but still did not decide on what we wanted as we wanted to look at our home and get that real gut feeling over colors and style. Almost one month later, after we gave Daniel the go ahead to come to our home and measure. He sent his brother, Dave, another charming, professional man. He was so confident that we would be happy with the company, the products we picked, the workers, and the fair pricing. Dave was punctual on our schedule (which as I recall was the next day), quick, called to our attention if we wanted to have flooring go into areas we never thought of, and complete. He said an estimate would be ready in a few days after we picked our products. We did and they did!! We had to reschedule the start of the project and delay the continuance of the project a couple of times, and were met with NO PROBLEM every time. We were embarrassed but assured a happy ending and not to worry about anything. First, we had to have the tile taken up with jackhammers and chisels...and were expecting a total mess. Nothing compared to the mess the house was in from construction that we had done prior to this flooring project. These men were clean, courteous, and completed their part of this project in one day including clean up. YES, THEY CLEANED UP and left the house better than it was prior to the demolition. My wife and I were completely impressed. Daniel then sent Camden, the tile guy, who was punctual, accommodating to my wife and myself to get in and out of our home for things needed for our alternate living place. Camden was very proud of his work and it showed as we inspected the work and he showed us what he did to create his masterpiece of diagonally placed tile and placement under undisturbed baseboards. WOW!!! Then, we coordinated for the engineered flooring to be installed. Daniel sent Dennis and Brandon. what can we say. More of the same type of people we had met from beginning to end. Proud, caring, punctual, professional people. Dennis and Brandon had to come to fix some things we noticed after the job was complete and they were already on their next projects... They made time to come the next day with smiles on more than one occasion. . They assured us that if anything was needed in the future that they would stand behind their work and come to fix, repair, and/or replace with complete explanation of anything needed. Really, what a group of workers. They have to be very happy with what they do to provide the care and workmanship they provided us. This is the type of company that I would like to use again and again. My wife and I totally recommend this company for work to be done in your homes. They were punctual and installation was professional. I did quite a bit of research before choosing them. Do your research so you are an educated consumer.

Paul was the man who did the work, and he worked magic! He worked on our 1945 wood floors and they look fantastic. There was cupping in places and old termite damage and now you'd never know it. Plus, he installed new floor where parts were left open after we widened and arch, and he managed to match the old floors. Very detailed work!

Although they did an estimate and were punctual, polite and professional, I am not using them for this first job. We will be more prepared when I have them come out for the estimate for the next flooring job and decide from there. The square footage estimate was over by 50 square feet, (beyond footage for waste and other overages). Which when multiplied by the cost of the materials and installation came to about $500.00. We were told to expect an estimate by noon the following day, via email, which never came. When we called, they verified our email & said they would try again, but nothing was ever received. They also did not include a discount for using Angie's list, (they were told 3 times), although, I think they would have adjusted the estimate. They did not compensate in the estimate for the materials and labor for known low areas, where water gathers and sits on the surface. These would need to be floated out, which makes me wonder about their thoroughness. We had 2 other estimates done with known, reliable tile professionals, each one being about $1,000.00 less expensive.

We went to their showroom and picked out a great looking floor. They made it easy and we opted for the highest quality underlayment which was a wise choice. They did a great job with the installation and there were no surprises or added fees. The quarter round was done perfectly and looks great even in the hard to reach areas. They had to come back out for a minor flooring repair and they couldn't have been more accommodating.

Excellent quality materials and price, with expert installation and attention to detail by Tom and Mikey. Very pleased with the results.
