AMI Air was excellent! They promptly returned my call and came out for a quote to replace the AC unit shortly afterwards. They install Carrier air conditioning units which are made in the USA. I want to support American jobs so I was pleased that installing units that are made here in the USA is one of their values. Sarita handled all of the logistics with the permits at the office beautifully and Casey and his team came out and did an outstanding job of the installation shortly afterwards. I can't recommend them enough. Stellar customer service and workmanship!

I called this morning to set up an appointment with a gentleman over the phone, who was very polite. He informed me that there were two calls ahead of me, and it would be a few hours. My technician arrived as promised. Jorge was very professional, thorough, and informative. He took his time explaining to me the possible causes and solutions for my problem (checking my vents, the units, crawling in my attic). I'm extremely satisfied with their service and will be using them for additional work. Highly recommend them.

Our air conditioner was not responding at all. They needed to replace a fuse. It happened a second time and they came immediately and replaced the fuse again at no charge.

This was a big deal purchase. It worked out okay. I am a little bit surprised that she did not call me about foaming coil cleaner. He did check an electrical thing outside and added some Freon. They had to charge me for a full pound of it which I could understand. He was nice and explained things. He did not charge me for the electrical thing. I e-mailed them back. The service was okay and it wasn't a scam. They could have done a few extra things to make it a really awesome service. I had to call them back because my air conditioner still wasn't blowing totally cold air but I never heard back from them. The initial call was great and they came the next day. But they never responded to my email afterwards.

The technician came the first time. But he worked on the wrong unit for the second floor. I called the company, and told them my order said clearly the unit is the one for the first floor. The company rearranged the appointment on Jan 21, 2016. The guy came on time, and finished the work on the unit. He did a very good job. Thanks.

ARRIVED PUNCTUALLY. INSPECTED AND TOOK APART THE CENTRAL AIR THERMOSTAT AND SAID THE THERMOSTAT WAS FAULTY. HE COULD INSTALL A NEW ONE FOR $250. I LOOKED UP THE PART ON THE COMPUTER AND DISCOVERED I COULD BUY ONE FROM HOME DEPOT FOR AROUND 25.00. I TOLD THE SERVICEMAN THAT I COULD PROBABLY INSTALL IT MYSELF. HE GAVE ME SOME TIPS ON HOW TO INSTALL IT AND PACKED UP HIS GEAR AND DEPARTED. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID NOT SEEM AGGRAVATED THAT I WAS GOING TO DO THE WORK MYSELF. THERE WAS NO ADDITIONAL COST BEYOND THE INITIAL PRICE (FOR WHICH I HAD A COUPON FROM ANGIE'S LIST) FOR THE SERVICE CALL. THAT WAS EITHER 39 OR 49 DOLLARS, I WENT TO HOME DEPOT AND BOUGHT THE THERMOSTAT FOR 25$ AND INSTALLED IT MYSELF. I DO THINK THAT THE COST FOR A THERMOSTAT WAS PROHIBITIVE, 10 TIMES THE COST.

On time and efficient. No problems were discovered.

We called AMI(whom we used prior with AL and whom we originally purchased and serviced our AC unit about 10 years ago from) on Monday, January 11th and advised our AC unit had broken and then asked if they were still with Angie's List. The girl stated they were and they were currently running a coupon; to go on Angie's list and get the coupon. She took my service order and allowed me to call back once I'd purchased the deal on AL. I got my coupon number, called her back and she stated she could have a service tech out the same day. About twenty minutes later she called me back and said the service tech was on his way. He arrived shortly there after and it was the same tech, Adam, that had come out last time. He took care of the problem efficiently, quickly and professionally. He is very friendly and personable. We are very satisfied with AMI and their service etiquette.

Provided excellent same day service. Technician was very honest and didn't try to sell us unnecessary services. The call center was very helpful and even scheduled the service call around a doctor appointment.

The service technician was great. He performed all the routine maintenance required for my AC unit and took the time to answer some questions I had. I would definitely use this company again. The only downside was that I received a call stating the technician was 30 minutes away. He showed up a little over an hour after the scheduled time.
