The only heating and air conditioning company that we work with is Del-Air, locally and they are a very huge company in the Orlando area, in central Florida actually. They come out every six months to check all of our units. They are one of the biggest companies in the area. It was actually free because it is part of a maintenance contract we have. I don’t pay that, my mother does, so I’m not sure how much we pay every year for that.

Very happy with them and would definitely use them again.

They are professional courteous but having to take time off work to get it fixed was frustrating. The sales guy promised the world, it took several messages until he did his work on the rebate. I purchased the unit through Lowes, if you buy a A/C unit through Lowes make sure it's not Del Air. Del Air has no office in Pinellas County which is another issue. The unit issues error codes, they didn't know what they meant, I found that disturbing. The service techs were awesome and professional and I was frustrated that there didn't seem to be communicating with Trane. I waited several months before my review to see if I would get a call and a apology from Del Air but nothing. I think they are more of a repair company, not a new A/C install company.

I have had them for 14 years. The best part is they're responsive and reliable. I have a yearly contract with them at about $300 a year, $75 a unit. Their service department is just super friendly and amazing.

They are super. I've been using them for years for annual maintenance. They are great to deal with even over the phone they can help. They come out same day or next day.

I've been using them for many, many years. They've been around for a long time. Their price is very competitive with everybody else. They're very honest, professional, and knowledgeable. I always call them about the same time every year; Spring, Summer, Fall - unless something breaks and then I would call them for that reason. Otherwise, it's the regular maintenance. I have that done every year. They make sure the line is clear, they check the Freon, they look at the outside unit and check the wires there, and they blow the line outside. It's both an inside and outside unit. They make sure everything looks okay, if anything's ready to break or that kind of stuff. They also have emergency service if you needed them for an emergency, which is very good.

Everything was perfect. He never made a mess or anything. He is just a very nice guy. We have probably had him for 6 years. I call there and I say, “is Todd still there!” “Yes, he is still there!” He would give us a discount if he could save us money by doing this, instead of this. He doesn’t cheat people. He almost always gets out that day.

I have a contract with them. It contract is $200 and something, I have 2 units. The technicians explained things good. They are very conscientious about leaving the area clean.

Great, the installers did a nice job of getting everything installed,crawled through the room to bring a new duct to the rear bedroom. Great Job guys.... I am writing now after over 6 months to makes sure everything was working well and also the work they did for my mother.

Every year they come out and service it, if I have a problem I call, they was here two days ago in fact cause I had a problem with the thermostat, they come out and took care of it for me. They do good work. They good people.

They actually several years ago put new units in. Then we remodeled and we put two more units in a couple of years ago.

I've already scheduled for our maintenance. Everything was fine. It was wonderful and works well. They take care of it when we need them. I was very happy with them. They would come to maintain the other unit. It just got to the point where we had to have a new unit put in but they were always on time and we did some maintenance with them because they were the people who installed it originally in the South we are the second owners and the first owners when we build the house and had them. I think we had them come a couple of times to look at something and it was fixed.

When I called to request service I specifically mentioned the promise I was given regarding a senior tech. I was given a date, time and indication that it would be a senior tech. The first question I asked when the tech arrived was whether he met the "criteria" of what DelAir considers a senior tech- I got a "sort of" response. They "think" they know what the problem is, but want to wait a month before making a final decision- not acceptable.

I replaced two Trane heat pumps with Lennox heat pumps of the same size but higher efficiency. My Trane units were 13 years old. I have had the new Lennox units for two years and one stopped working two weeks ago. Del Air identified the problem as a stuck valve in the inside blower unit and although the part was covered by warranty the labor to install cost $500.00. The system worked for two weeks and stopped and during this service call stated that the outdoor compressor units coil needs to be replaced and although once again covered by warranty would cost $1,026.00 in labor to replace. I contacted Del Air and stated that I could not believe that after two years we would be spending 25% of the cost of the unit in just keeping it operational. Del Air contacted Lennox and Lennox stated that they would contribute $300 towards the repair. It is sad to think that both of these companies care so little about product quality and customer satisfaction. I would not use either company again and could not honestly recommend to anyone. I am currently contacting other companies to completely replace the unit as I would also not reward either company with additional business.
