Description of Work: My A/C went completely inoperative. Upon arriving he informed us of the diagnostic cost. A half hour later we were told which part needed replacing. In another half hour our A/C was cold again. He completed the job professionally without persuading us to purchase a new A/C unit or a service plan. We're not quite ready to purchase a new A/C until next year and Del Air has been breathing air into our old A/C unit for 4 years now.

Description of Work: I had Del-Air come out on 2 occasions for misc issues with my ac. Both times it seemed like they just wanted to add to the service vs just doing the service which I requested. After having another company come out after these two service calls, approx 1 yr later, I came to the realization that Del-air will try to sell you on a higher service bill vs trying doing the right thing for the customer. Prime example, the turn off the power to the ac handler on the unit and noticed it was loose and didnt notify my that this is a fire hazard. The next company came in and fixed it as part of my service call and showed me that the ground wire had been hitting the unit causing it to arc and therefore was a fire-hazard. I will never use Del-Air again.

Description of Work: I called Delair because of their high rating on Angie's. I have had trouble with my AC for the last 5 years and have been using the installer for service (Mills Air, Inc). When I started to have trouble this year (coil freezing up) I decided to call Delair. The serviceman was professional and completed the 20 Point AC Inspection in about 1 hour. However, he did not determine why my AC is freezing up. All of the inspection items checked out but he had no suggestions for further work to determine my problem. If you need basic service then call them but if you need expert analysis of a complex problem good luck finding someone.

Description of Work: The company has come twice when we had AC problems. The second time they came quickly when my husband, who is disabled, called them to say he was suffering from the heat. The respondents were very professional. In fact, the first time he did more work than was required and did not charge extra.
