This morning the crew was very prompt, courteous and professional throughout the entire project. Robert Young Sr. ran the crew and his equipment like a master paver. Mr Young marked out the driveway to ensure I was happy with the layout and was happy to make any adjustments to the shape of the driveway. They graded the gravel ensuring all the low spots were filled and driveway was uniform and well compacted. They applied a 2" binder coat, even thicker than that in some areas. The 1" finish coat was applied afterward about 1 1/2 hours after the binder coat was down and compacted. The finish coat looks terrific! It's very smooth with beveled edges and I am very confident that they delivered the product and applied it as promised. We are extremely pleasedwith Robert Young and Sons and would recommend them without hesitation!! In fact we did tell our neighbor 3 houses down about our research and selection of Robert Young and Sons. After finishing our driveway, they were hired to do our neighbors driveway today as well! If you need your driveway paved...call Robert Young and Sons!

Professional and punctual from the estimate to the wave goodbye! Fit the estimate in on short notice and showed up on time, listened to exactly what I wanted done, took measurements and handed me a write-up, on the spot. I had contacted a few other area companies and Robert Young & Sons seemed like the right fit for me, with a competitive price to boot. Granted it was still early in the season, I called to schedule the excavation (double-wide driveway expansion) and had his commitment and crew on site 48 hours later. We of course had called Dig Safe and been informed of a gas line under the excavation area. His crew was knowledgeable and took extreme care when excavating. We did run into a snag with the gas line, to no fault of Robert Young & Sons. Turns out that a gas line installed in 1965 had a corroded coupler and there was an existing leak (which again speaks to the caution exercised by the crew in such a precarious situation). They waited patiently on site while the utility company replaced the coupler and I ended up with a wonderful and sharp-looking end result a few short hours later. I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone who is interested in a quality company and quality crew!

We got two quotes to get our driveway paved. This one was ~$1500 less than the other so I was a little concerned that the quality would not be the best. Once we called & let them know we we interested in doing the work, they were available within less than a week. The crew showed up around 9 am & started removing the old asphalt & the gravel driveway & by 4 pm they were done & gone. Seemed like there were 3 or 4 guys there for most of the day. The driveway has been in for several months & we haveno complaints.

Got estimate on friendly, monday work was performed on time. Result is excellent! Had other estimates. This was the best one.

They were very good. They came with four people and worked through until they finished.

It went great. There was a total of one week between estimate and job completion. The job itself took a total of about 4 hours. The job was the same as another quote I'd received but about $300.00 cheaper.

Our drive was buckled and in dire need of attention. I hadn't sought an estimate as I was concerned that a lot of excavating would be needed to get the driveway in shape to accept new hot top. A neighbor hired these folks to re-pave his driveway. Evidently, they saw the condition our driveway was in because a rep. rang our doorbell. The rep. said our driveway would not take too much prep work and they could do the job when they were finished with our neighbors. We agreed to a price and when they completed my neighbor's driveway they started on ours. I was delighted to see that they not only took care of the driveway and walkway but also did the walk to our back door, approximately 50' long X 24 wide. I was aware of the warnings to beware of hot top companies that knocked on your door and said they had left over hot top and would give a good price because they would only have to throw the hot top away if it wasn't used. This company never said that, only that they were in the neighborhood and could do the job immediately. They ultimately did 3 or 4 driveways on our street that day. Our driveway looks great, nice and smooth. Now, here is the remarkable part of this experience, the next day they were back checking their work. We have a wheel chair ramp that can be folded up and moved. They had removed it before they began work on our front walk. They stopped and asked if I wanted them to put the ramp back in place. I have to say I was totally impressed. Looking at their invoice I see that they offer a variety of services including excavating and grading We would not hesitate to use them again.
