Robert was very responsive, both during the quoting phase and after we signed the contract. He took the time to discuss exactly what I wanted which included a driveway with many curves that required a lot of hand work. He showed up on time and his crew was very courteous and professional. Robert was there to oversee the whole job (which took two days) and he accommodated all of my requests. The driveway looks fantastic. Robert was honest, punctual, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. I'll recommend him to anyone looking for paving work.

After many calls to other companies, I had only two estimates and wanted a third. I finally went to city hall and Robert was recommended to me by the secratery, I made only one call to him. That night he returned my call, came out to see my almost 300 ft driveway, that's only half paved. He gave me the cost and later that day I gave him the job. Robert was very knowledgeable and friendly, His team was able to the job one week later. All I can say is what a beautiful drivewayI have now!!! They went above and beyond.....they added a 15ft long walkway to the front porch, another to the rear deck and even put a walkway to a deck area not built yet on the garage!!! They were very professional. Kept us informed throughout the entire process. They asked where we wanted them to put the extra fill that was removed from the driveway. This was awesome! They leveled out an area beyond one of the pull-offs with this fill. They also rebuilt a small stone wall at no additional charge to create a clean edge for the pavement to butt up against. I would use them again.

These guys do it all right down to reseeding the lawn they chewed up doing the work of landscaping our renovated property which is a residential home that needed accessibility ramps. The Youngs hired all the subcontractors and worked with them to get the job done in a few days. I still marvel at it two years later.

Perfect. We had an in-person quote within a day and the work was performed not long after. They paved the upper part of our driveway, arriving when they said they would and done by the time they promised. The driveway looks great and we are very pleased.

I called a couple of companies from Angie's list that had good reviews. These guys were great to deal with. Bob Jr came by in the evening and measured and gave me two estimates. One for an Overlay and one to tear out the old and put in a whole new driveway. Their price was competitive and there was no pressure. I told him I needed a few weeks to put together the money and I would call him. I called him a few weeks later and he remembered me and remembered the price he quoted. We agreed on a date. They showed up and did an outstanding job, very good quality. It turned out better than I expected. It was refreshing to deal with a company that gave and kept their word, and clearly cared about the quality of their work. I would highly recommend this company to you.

Went out for a couple of quotes to have the work repaired. The estimate for the repair at the end of my driveway came in half the amount of another company's estimate. The work was done within a couple of days and we could not be happier. They did a great job and would use them again.

Sent a message via Angie's List and was contacted back immediately. Robert came to the house and gave me a price for filling the cracks in the driveway and walkway, and then seal coating all of it. He said he would attempt to come get this accomplished before the end of the week, weather permitting. Received a call from him that he would be here in the afternoon on Friday, so I had our vehicles moved out of the way. Due to a commitment, I had to leave the house. Upon returning home later Friday, the driveway and walkway were done. Cracks were filled in and the driveway and walkway looked new. Very happy with the work and the price. As far as payment - Robert said he would catch up with me sometime. Quite unusual in this day and age where the provider doesn't want at least partial payment up front. Thank you Robert.

I was looking for someone to finish a job that a previous company started for me and could not complete. After I read Robert Young and Sons reviews I called to ask for HELP!!!! After reaching Robert Jr. I explained that I was desperate for help in moving some granite that was so heavy the previous company couldn't lift it. They just left it in my driveway. I told Robert Jr. I was NOT in the market for a driveway. But, if, he was willing to help me out, I would have my driveway repaved. I did need the driveway done. I just wasn't interested in doing it this year. Robert said he would be willing to come by to see what the job entailed. He confirmed the appointment and came when he said he would. Robert Jr. was professional and easy to talk with. Although it wasn't in their job description, he agreed to do the work. It turned out to be more work than we both expected. Robert Sr. and Jr., along with their team of men orchestrated the rearranging of the already placed granite steps so that the 3x6 foot slab would fit properly at the top. Robert Sr and Jr. were nice about the whole situation. After completing the granite steps, they then removed the driveway and put in a new one. It is beautiful with a perfect pitch so that the water runs down to the street. Lastly, I have to say, Robert Jr. asked ?'s along the way to be sure I would be happy with what they were doing before they did it.

They arrived on time and went straight to work. They had a crew of 5-6 including Bob Sr. and Jr. They were very professional and consulted me anytime there was a decision to be made. When they removed the base they asked if I knew someone who wanted clean fill. As it turned out I had an area on the side of my house where we had just taken down a tree and opened up some new space. I had planned on getting some fill. So they trucked 3-4 loads of the fill and dumped it where I wanted it and then used their Bobcat to level it out. Saving me money and backache. They then put down the new base of crushed stone and proceeded to lay down and roll out the two layers of asphalt. They were at my home from 7:30AM to 1:30PM and the job looks great. I am very pleased with their service. In addition Bob Jr. was very responsive throughout the process. He came for the initial estimate within a day and then as schedule changes occurred (mine as well as his) he was quick to respond to my requests and also quick to update me on changes from his side. This was a wonderful experience and I recommend them highly.

Robert and his Dad are great to work with. They will be on site thru the entire job During the excavation of the existing driveway, Robert found excessive clay in the soil that can cause driveways to fail. He explained additional steps to guard against failure of the asphalt in the years to come. I opted to spend an additional $1200 to help prevent the new driveway from failing prematurely. You will find Youngs Paving to be very responsive and customer-oriented. Bob, answered my call for an estimate very promptly. He, his dad and crew all very friendly and professional. They arrived on time, did exactly as we had discussed during the estimate and made a new gravel area for my husband to park his tractor. In the past we had some drainage problems which they fixed and the water no longer pools on the driveway. Looks beautiful at a great price.

They dug down on an old dirt 70 foot driveway,laid down sand and stone and covered it with asphalt. The outcome is just what we asked for and looks very professional. Both father and son are courteous and friendly.
