Lumber liquidators (LL Flooring) did the flooring for our our whole house, although they use subcontractors. We generally only watch the bedroom TV at night. The night that they finished, we turned on our TV and saw that there was a starburst pattern coming from the lower right corner and the screen image was badly distorted. We called them and they said to file a claim. We did that and sent pictures as well. Then, after no response, called them and then their insurance company for over 2 months (they never called us). Finally after almost 3 months, we received a letter from their insurance company saying they are not liable. I do not consider this company reputable at all.

Nightmare - from the estimator to the installation crew to Lumber Liquidators corporate - DO NOT HIRE LUMBER LIQUIDATOR'S! Job was for 4 rooms in our home that included our bedroom and 2 separate home offices. We spent 4 nights sleeping on the floor as they left our bed disassembled and after 2 weeks of calling everyone from the corporate office to the horrible installation company, they finally put our bed back together... Installers eventually abandoned the job after leaving both my and my wife's office completely disassembled (after paying for furniture moving twice!) and the floors are not level by a quarter inch or more! This is a very brief summary of the nightmare that was and is Lumber Liquidators. We bought some of their most expensive wood to add insult to injury... More details and photos of the entire fiasco coming soon. I'm just too upset to post any more at the moment!! Already had to hire someone to put the furniture back together in our 2 offices (after 2 weeks of not being able to use), and will have to hire a professional to level the floors. The nightmare is not over from these folks...

We are looking to get the wood taken up and having it done professionally. The people that we used to have it put down, they didn?t do a great job, so we?re looking into Lumber Liquidators to do the work. We?re going to have to take it up, so Lumber Liquidators would be the people, when we use. They did come out. They did give us like roughly what would be. Like if we were to pull it up or if they were to pull it up, what it would be. Then we would have to and purchase the floor, because the floor we have is discontinued, they said. I have the old flooring, but they don?t have it anymore. They did know what they were doing. When we had an appointment, they missed the appointment and I had to call them to see what was going on. Then he was like, ?Oh, I forgot?, then there was a whole big thing. Now, they called and tried to get him to come out and then the guy was, ?Oh okay, I?ll be out the next day, what is good for you?? Then he came out. That there was like a throw off, but other than that, I quest everything went okay. They explained things. I felt comfortable that the work would be done correctly. We want it done the right way. We?ve got to go back to Lumber Liquidators now and look at another floor now. I like my bamboo flooring. Everybody comes in here and they?re like, ?Oh, it?s a nice floor?, and most already know what it is and its wood, it?s bamboo. I?m like, ?Yea, yea, yea I like my bamboo wood!? It?s a dark floor. Now I?ve got to go back to Lumber Liquidators and see what else I can fine. They?ve got a lot of floor there.
Description of Work: We originally bought our wood from Lumber Liquidators, but we didn't allow them to do the work.

I forgot how much the service cost but it was pretty reasonable and that was why we got them. They provided good customer service and they had a good product. The installation process was also great and professional.
Description of Work: We used Lumber Liquidators about a year ago for installing our hardwood floors.

Description of Work: We bought engineered wood flooring from Lumber Liquidators, and had their sub-contractor (Euro Floors Design) do the installation. The installer was very knowledgeable and professional. He identified an issue with our slab (high moisture content) and help to resolve it. The worst part of the project was the initial wood flooring selected. We went with BellaWood, their premier flooring product. However, the planks were dented and scratched (due to insufficient packaging), and so could not be used. We went with another product (Schon). If you use BellaWood, be sure to opt for a newer boxes (which, we were told, has improved packaging).

They were very good. Their product and labor were very good. My only complaint was with the contractor that they referred to me.
