+ -1 moreWe're very grateful to AAA for coming to us on a Saturday on short notice because our AC wasn't working. Gustavo, the technician, was very patient dealing with the annoyances of navigating a big condo tower and was very honest. He identified the problem and resolved it, and explained what was happening throughout. We hopefully won't need AAA again at least for a while but will definitely use them again if we do.

+ -1 moreI was given a fair price ...unit is over 5 years old now and i have the service plan. My service rep Michael Cordi showed on time with a smile and polite greeting. He was extremely professional, took his time to explain what he was doing with the service and even gave me a few tips on how to keep my air running efficiently and clean. suggested some new filters to cut down on the dust and dander and to help my unit coils stay clean..He is definitely an asset to this company. On a personal note, I would not waste my time looking for other companies and shopping price. Their prices are very fair, and their office and service staff are number #1. when you call the office they make you feel like a valued customer and really put forth the effort to resolve any question or issue. They don't disappear after they had your business. they want to keep your business!.....I would recommend AAA MODERN AIR 100%.

The price was fair, they were on time and very patient with our questions and their explanations of our new digital online thermostat. He educated us on the maintenance process and things we can do as a homeowner to make sure our AC unit continues to work properly. They said it would cost approx. $1K for the part and repair. I decided to get a second opinion. AAA was very prompt in responding to request for repair estimate. Decided to get new a/c since it would provide 10 yr warranty. Job done was excellent.

+ -1 moreGreat. Josua was very friendly & pleasant & helpful. I ask a LOT of questions and he patiently responded to all of them. He tested the unit to make sure the heat & AC were working & confirmed it was the thermostat. He installed a newer one than what we had. Of course nothing ever fits perfectly, but he made sure it was installed correctly. I have no complaints. I called this morning at 7:30. They said would be here between 1-5 & would call 30 minutes prior. They have 'chat' if you are on your PC & I chatted with Nicole around 2 to make sure I was still on schedule. She checked and said would probably get call between 3:30-4. I got the call around 3:15, which was wonderful. He got here within 30 minutes. I think this company is wonderful. They accept checks, credit cards. We asked for an estimate & will definitely use them when we decide to replace it. We get FPL rebate & discount if pay cash (check).

He had to comeback for a follow up visit after it became clear that repairing the unit was more complicated than it initially seemed. The work was completed about 2 weeks ago and the unit has been working better than ever since. I will definitely use AAA modern air in the future for any air conditioning problems.

+ -1 moreOur 6 month old 5 Ton Carrier Condenser was damaged by Hurricane Irma. Josh, from AAA was our salesman. Sooo very knowledgeable, much more so than the previous company’s rep. AAA also did a much better job replacing our unit and tweaking the previous installation. We were builders up North in the past, so we consider ourselves experienced customers- and this is by far, one of the best experiences we have had since moving to S Florida. And the price was VERY fair.

I ended up buy a maintenance contract, which isn't something I usually do, but I was impressed with his work ethic.

It saved me a lot of money on a recent repair, including no charge for the emergency call. Yannick is a total professional. He works neatly and quickly, is always polite and friendly. He pointed out a part that will require replacement in the near future but is still currently good. It's a pleasure to have him in my home and look forward to a continued relationship with AAA.

+ -1 moreIt went great! The tech arrived early, since our central air turned off at 3 a.m. I called at the opening time and someone arrived to our home (2) hours later. It was terrific! We didn't know what was wrong. The tech told us later that the motor was no longer working. He contacted the office for a price and relayed the message to me. He also indicated the Angie's list discount.

From the estimate at the beginning of July through today, this company has been professional and efficient and the technicians knowledgeable. The system was installed within 4 days of hiring. Recently I had a technician come out to adjust fan speed and he was within the time window given, efficient, and polite. Also price was reasonable - it was in the middle of the range of quotes I received. I figured a company that has been in business 40 years must be doing something right - and I was correct!

+ -1 moreAside from the communication issues listed, the technician was thorough, answered my questions and was nice.
Description of Work: I called a few weeks in advance and scheduled routine maintenance on my air conditioner for my Condo. I made an appointment and was told they would come between 1-5pm, so I took the afternoon off from work to make sure I was home. On the day of service, around 2pm I was starting to get concerned that nobody was coming, because nobody had called to confirm the appointment, so I called the office and was told that I was on the schedule and that there was one service call ahead of me and that they would be there before 5pm. Well, 5pm came around and no technician to be seen, so I called again, and by this time the office was closed and the answering service put a call out to the technician, who then called me to tell me he was still on his way. Once he got here, he did the work requested and was nice and I am happy with the work, but I had to pull strings with my condo association to even allow him to work because he was supposed to be here between 1-5pm when service is allowed in the building, and I would have really appreciated a call to let me know an ETA and/or to confirm the appointment, because I wasted a 1/2 day off work.
