Description of Work: Frank from Modern Air came out on Monday evening and by Thursday, we had a complete new AC system. The old one was 20yrs old and needed to go. Robert and Connor were the installers. They were prompt, professional, and clean. I would definitely refer AAA Modern Air again.

Description of Work: My new ac which wAs installed properly has made me so happy!! The salesman Hans was so helpful and gave me a great price. The installers were friendly and knowledgeable !!! Very happy with this company. I recommend them to all who need a terrific air conditioning company.

Description of Work: Technician went on roof to check AC unit then back into my condo with black tar on his shoes and then on my less than one year old light tan carpet. When I called the company they gave me an attitude like well the carpet doesn't look that new? This is a vacation home that I visit 6 times a year at most. Had carpet cleaned twice but still has stains from tar. Very unhappy with the treatment from manager/owner who seems to think I enjoy spending my time waiting for carpet cleaners to try to fix there mistake while I am on vacation. All he had to do was check his shoes before re-entering my place. It was general service call $99 which they waived BIG DEAL . No follow up Will not recommend or use again.

Description of Work: They installed a completely new Carrier HVAC system. As part of the process all the existing ductwork, the obsolete outdoor equipment, and the interior air handler were all removed. The demo was handled reasonably well and the new system was installed in short order. | |Some time later my son's family returned home and found about 1" of water on the floor in the area of the new air handler. The Pergo laminate floor was damaged, the baseboards were warped and even the front door jam was warped which prevented the door from being locked. | |I called AAA and they dispatched one of their service techs who diagnosed a problem with the air handler. |According to the tech the water damage was caused by an improperly installed air handler. The next day two techs returned and made some changes to the air handler which may or may not have solved the problem. | |While all that was going on we dug out the Carrier installation instructions and found the air handler HAD NOT BEEN INSTALLED THE WAY CARRIER SUGGESTED which was the direct cause of the problem. | |With that I called to speak to the owner of AAA Modern Air. While he was polite on the phone he denied any and all liability for the damage caused to my son's home and refused to reinstall the system according to Carrier's specs. | |The bottom line? Simple-----I have always thought the measure of a quality businessman is how he handles adversity when something goes wrong on a job. THIS GUY AND HIS COMPANY FAILED THAT TEST. | |USE HIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN PERIL.

Description of Work: Service man checked out AC Unit and made adjustments as needed. The service man was very professional and polite. The expansion valve was not working properly and he added the oil that was recommended by the manufacturer and stated that it would take a couple of days for the treatment to take affect if it was going to work. I called him back in three days as he requested and he came back to check the unit. Everything seemed to be working properly. I have since added some insulation over the ductwork in attic and everything seems to be working properly. I wish I had called AAA in the beginning. I will be using them again in the future. |They are prompt and polite and professional and reasonable in price.

Description of Work: Called the company in the morning when I discovered no cooling from vents and outside unit wouldn't turn on. Scheduled tech visit for that afternoon, Jed arrived during the promised time window and ascertained the cause (clogged drain line) and quickly corrected the problem, at no cost to me since it was included in the preventative maintenance agreement included with the new central a/c unit purchase last year. Relieved to have cold air again, kudos to AAA Modern Air for their prompt and professional service!

Description of Work: Our Tech Bruner did a thorough inspection He did a one time |PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE which included: |INSPECTION OF COILS, FLUSH OUT DRAIN LINE, CLEAN & CHECK |CONDENSATE PUMP IF REQUIRED, APPLY ALGAE TREATMENT, |CALIBRATE & CHECK THERMOSTAT, CHECK FREON PRESSURE, |OIL FAN MOTORS, CHECK ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS, CHECK |TEMPERATURE SPLITS, CLEAN & CHECK UV LIGHT, |CHECK BLOWER SECTION & INSPECT HEATING SECTION |Both my husband and I were very please with his work and Professionalism.

Description of Work: These folks installed my central AC, and for three years it worked great. I had them service the unit every six months. | |Then the air handler started icing,thawing, and flooding the floor. | |Each time they said they fixed it, but the problem persisted. | |They pulled the unit and cleaned the coils ($$). Same problem. | |Finally switched to Weathershield, who solved the problem in one day, and corrected the installation on the new compressor that AAA installed. | |I have had good technicians from AS A in past, but the last few were wanting.
