 + 0 moreThere was some question about the foundation laid, but they worked it out and did a nice job with pavers. However, the sealing was poor, lasting less than a year. Would not hire them to reseal, since the first job was not good. A neighbor also used them and was dissatisfied with the sealing.
Description of Work: Expanded the lanai area and laid new pavers.

 + 0 moreInstallers are a bunch of drunks that show up whenever, so hung over that they can't function. Tile was so bad that another installer had to remove a sizeable portion of the job and redo. Owner would not supervise the installers put on the job.

 + 0 moreMr. Clayton hires qualified tile installers for his jobs. After each installation Mr. Clayton throws himself on the floor and feels the floor for any rise and falls in the tile. Even though the home owners are happy with their completed project Mr Clayton then begins to pick apart the job so the installer has to remove the product and he then charge the home owners additional monies. Mr Clayton has only been in the business for 10ys which does not constitute expertise in the installation of tile. Mr Clayton only sub contracts professionals which then he refuses to pay for job they performed. He then has the home owners upset and angry and if there were any issues they cannot be corrected due to the problem he has created with the installer. Mr Clayton goes as far as trying to intimidate and threaten his installers once he does not want to pay for services rendered by the sub contractors. The installers that work for Mr Clayton are frustrated and tired. Mr Clayton threatens his sub contractors that he will ruin their names so they cannot get work in the area. He will continue to scam home owners and his sub contractors at everyones expense. i would not recommend this company for installation or for a sub contracting job. Mr Clayton has many complaints which have not been noted on this site. The Better Business Bureau needs to be contacted with regards to this company.

Whenever I felt a little anxious or nervous about the project Clayton (the owner) was always there to tell me that everything will be fine and I will be pleased with the end result. He was right! I love my new bathroom! Everyone that worked in my bathroom was knowledgeable, prompt, courteous, conscientious and neat. Clayton listened to my wants and needs and was very patient with me. I also needed someone to restore and seal the pavers around my pool and Clayton recommended someone who did a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend Clayton and Mosaic Tile and he will be the first one I call if I need anymore work done around my house. If he can't do it, he will recommend someone who can.
Description of Work: Remodeled our master bathroom. Removed the garden tub, tore out and replaced all the wall and floor tile, built a new linen cabinet and refaced the his and her vanities.

Description of Work: This was a bathroom makeover. Homeowner supplied all tile except shower floor so cost shown is for installing approx. 440 sq. ft. of tile. Old tile was removed, new rock wall installed in shower, new floor tiles were in installed in Master Bath, new tile surround w installed around jetted tub. Job was estimated to take 1/2 weeks, it actually took a little over 3 weeks. Things were "verbally" promised but then changed or ignored in actual work, to the extent of denying anything was ever said or promised. The price of the job and length of time it took to accomplish should have resulted in a quality job but the overall product was only "run of the mill" adequate. The job site was left dirty, the crew had to be called back to clean mortar from walls and floor. I would not recommend this company and if anyone does use them, be sure to get everything discussed in writing or else buyer beware.

 + 0 moreWork was completed well ahead of original estimate start date due to some customers wishing to delay their projects. Job was started on the new agreed upon start date and completed within a reasonable time. All workers were extremely professional and very skilled. The job was accomplished without any problems nor damage to other areas.
Description of Work: Installed pavers around pool and on lanai. This included removing existing top tile surrounding pool and replacing with coping matching pavers, enlarging water runoff drain, resizing two screen doors to work with new floor height of pavers, raising spa jet controls to new paver height sealing all pavers. Additional work was to prep area and lay pavers for BBQ area off of lanai area

Description of Work: 1 - Removed in ground Jacuzzi from pool deck - filled in hole and covered with pavers 2 - Installed Pavers on pool deck and lanai (about 1200 sq ft) 3 - Installed coping around pool 4 - installed Pavers on walkway from driveway to front door (about 400 sq st) 5 - Installed stone retaining wall along walkway (1 ft high x 25 ft) 6 - installed stone retaining wall in front of house. (1 ft high x 30 ft) 7 - Complete Clean up and haul away of materials.

 + -1 moreWe are both extremely happy with the work that was performed. Clayton called us the day after the work was completed and asked us if we were happy with the job they did. He then said he would have someone come out and seal it in a few days, once there was no threat of rain. A couple of days later he called again and said someone would be out 2 days later to seal everything, which they were. We then paid the remainig balance. Clayton was always punctual for appointments and was great at keeping us informed during the entire process. All of his workers were polite and very hard working. They were very skilled and the outcome is just beautiful! Have had quite a few compliments from our neighbors. We would definitely use Mosaic Tile and Remodel again, which we may do next year, if we decide to remove our concrete driveway and replace with pavers!
Description of Work: Clayton came out to our house on 3/18/2013 to give an estimate on putting pavers on our front walkway and entryway to our house. He arrived at the appointed time and was very personable. We told him what we wanted and he then gave us a written estimate. He said we could go look at a new paver display that was recently set up at Clover Lawn in Lecanto to get an idea of the styles and colors. He was very easy going and didn't try to pressure us in signing with him to do the work. After getting a couple of more estimates, we had Clayton come back out to our house on 4/4/2013 and signed with him to do the work. We gave him a deposit for half and once all the work was completed(including the sealing of the pavers which was included in the price), we would have to pay him the rest. He called us next on 4/15 and scheduled our work to be done on the afternoon of 4/18. Pavers were delivered that morning and before 3:00pm that day the two workers arrived and immediately got to work. They busted up the old concrete walkway, put a new base down, and then put down thin pavers for the new walkway. They also put thin pavers over the existing concrete of our large covered entryway. They both worked really hard the whole time and didn't finish with everything(including clean up), until 8:30pm. Sealing of the pavers was all that was left to be done and that was completed on 4/23 because there weren't any rain chances by then.

 + -1 moreAfter telling them they had the job, they chiseled me for $500 with "The tile you picked out was more expensive than what we quoted". The floor was not leveled. I have french doors which had to be installed 5/8 inch above the tile on one end with the door facing on the tile at the other end. They say that's not that bad, it's really flat within building codes. The floor is so uneven furniture rocks. When I threatened to sue him the owner said he would fix it, but then proceeded to try to convince me it's not that bad. If you decided to use these guys, and I don't recommend it, make sure everything is in writing. Detail who pays for materials, labor, errors, etc. I would not give them any money up front.
Description of Work: They contracted to remove the tile, level the floor and replace the tile in the whole house after a sinkhole loss. The contract included "float to level all floors".
