+ -1 moreSuppose to install in 4-6 weeks. They called on the 4th week and said they would install on week 5. They called back on week 5 and said screen door did not come in and they would install on week 6. Two workers came as promised and did a top notch job. Were very professional and were done in about 5 hours. Looks great and we are very pleased with the finished product.
Description of Work: Install garage door screening and enclose front porch and install new screen door.

The sales person took an extra interest in us as people and it was fantastic. The installers were very great workers and very nice people. Very caring human beings, to them we were not just customers.

+ -1 moreBlackshears II Aluminum could not deal with having to reinforce a beam. They kind of dropped out of our bidding process, because of that. They were fine. Very professional. No problems. They could not deal with wood, they only deal with Aluminum. The beam system that holds up the back wall of the porch and to do the addition they would have to add an additional wood beam. They told us they don't deal with wood and that they couldn't deal with that issue. My husband dealt with them and he had nothing negative to say about them. I don't think they were quite as punctual at getting back to us with things, but they were not bad.
Description of Work: Blackshears II Aluminum gave us an estimate on adding an addition to a porch.

Description of Work: A section of our gutter pulled away from the roof. We called Blackshears and they came by immediately, assessed the situation, gave an estimate to fix it; the inspector also walked the entire perimeter of the roof and inspected all the gutters. A couple of days later, they came by and fixed the damaged area for the estimated price.

+ -1 moreMet with Kim from Blackshears at our home to look over the job and get an estimate. Kim provided many options with detailed literature regarding the products available. Agreed on specs and price and signed contract. They obtained all permits and did the work after I returned to New Mexico. On completion they obtained all inspections from the county and took phots of the work and sent to us along with final invoice. Great job and no hassle at all. The quality of the windows are excellent and the room stays quite cool under air from the house. Will use them again when we get ready to replace the remaining windows on the home.
Description of Work: Remove old vinyl windows from sun porch and install new energy efficient "E" glass aluminum windows. Install complete hurricane panel protection on home
