+ 0 moreThe initial installation went fine. They came on time and appeared to be proficient. When job was completed it looked fine and I paid the bill. Before repairman left I happened to look closer at the water filter and it was installed backwards. I pointed it out and he said he'd go get new fittings and return that day. He has never returned. I have called just about everyday for a week. They only have an answering service. The answering service says I'll get a call back. Never happens. I can't recommend using them. I now have to incur additional costs to get it fixed.

Description of Work: We bought an older house and began having problems with the bathroom plumbing within a week of moving in. American Plumbing was called out. They would snake the pipe at the cleanout and three to four days later, the plumbing would bak up again. While they responded to our calls, they did not resolve the problem, instead telling us the pipes were old and we needed to spend a great deal of money scoping the pipes and possibly jack hammering through the tile bathroom floors to replace pipe. We finally called another local plumber who immediately told us the problem was outside the house, brought an auger and cleared the clog. We have been clog free for 3 1/2 weeks now.

+ -1 moreI checked 'Angies' out before 6:00 A.M.on 05/04/2009 I called the company a little after 6:00 A.M. It was answered (I think I may have woken them up). They said someone would be there by 9:00 A.M. Someone showed up at 8:30 He quickly diagnosed (pin hole leak in copper pipe). He showed me the problem. He was done and out by 9:15 Very nice guy too and very professional. Would strongly recommend again!
