Make sure that you get in writing, the estimate and the directions needed for the move. I was quoted an estimate that doubled due to a miscommunication that resulted in them taking longer than necessary to pack my items. Be aware that they will use multiple $20.00 wardrobe boxes and fill them with items that are not clothing. Be aware that when you express your concern with the owner, you will be told that if you wanted it done cheaper, you should have done it yourself despite the many additional costs and time due to them not listening to what was asked of them to do in the first place. I would have given them a 0 star if I could. The manager handled the situation poorly, not calling to talk about the situation, would only text. They put the additional cost and stress of them not doing what was asked to do on me. They didn't listen to the assignment. 👎

Started out great with owner and crew and then the actual move occurred. Not only did the crew not arrive on time to unload, but they showed up hours later, many family heirlooms a were broken and some items (important to me) were completely missing. Also, I was to pay the business owner half up front (of which I paid over half) and the other half when services were rendered. Then he called me the night before my move demanding payment in full when they had not even completed the job yet. Banks were closed and that was a huge inconvenience. I wound up borrowing money from friend and repaying her next morn. Owner never followed up with me on how the crew did and when I wrote him to tell him, he never responded.

Did a great job. The three guys were nice and handled themselves professionally. They had a problem with their lift gate on the way. But, they kept us informed of their progress and still made it on time.

Told they were going to be there at 1. Then got a phone call that it was gonna be 2. After 2:10 got a call it was gonna be 3. After three they said they were just leaving destin( we live in Valp). At 4 we got a phone call saying it would be another 40 minutes. Finally 5:15 they start moving. I tell them there is a detached garage when they are packing and they pack the truck to fit just the house not the garage also. So we have to be out of the house that 3 days later with no time to pay them again to move the garage. They offer next week but landlord says no. Total waist of time and money. Save your money and go with someone else. .

Absolutely Awesome Service! They arrived promptly, began work immediately and were very careful when moving the furniture. We had several large pieces of furniture that were involved in the move... and no walls or furniture were damaged during the move. I received exceptional service at a great price! What more could I ask? My sister thought I was crazy for hiring someone to do this move. She thought between family and friends we could do this job ourselves. She was present during the move and after seeing how much work was involved (and how quickly, efficiently and how reasonably priced they were) my sister asked them for business cards. We both agreed... if we have any future moving needs we will definitely call BigFoot Moving. Highly recommended!!

A crew of three showed up: Marshall, Dustin and Eddie! They were relatively punctual but had already given me a 'heads-up' phone call that they would arrive a little later than the appointed hour. When they did arrive, all three crew members introduced themselves to me accompanied by a hearty handshake! I walked through with house with Marshall discussing the packing 'plan.' Then they got right to work. They divided and conquered! The job took the crew of three about 1.5 hours. They were careful, diligent, quick and efficient! At my request, they rearranged some other items in my garage to make enough room so my car could fit into the garage along with all the new boxes. These guys were very customer focused and really cared about doing the job right. I highly recommend this moving company as they do excellent work at a very fair price.

Our move went well despite the rainy start. We had some pretty heavy items (grand piano, statuette, big floor plants, etc) that the young men were all able to handle carefully.

Both jobs completed no problem. The tractor trailer job was complex and difficult (had to move very heavy items more than 100') but they completed it no fuss. Very responsive and courteous.

Was going to meet the movers at storage units Friday at 4. They called at a little over 3 and were just leaving Destin. Due to traffic they did not arrive until 5. With my help we made quick work of the loading and moving other furniture into one storage unit. Trip to Gulf Breeze wasn't bad for rush hour. My home is on pilings so everything is upstairs. Guys went to work and completed the unloading in about an hour. Asked if they would mind bringing one more piece of furniture that I had on the ground floor to the third floor. Even at 7pm after the long day they had, they accepted and carried a large dresser from ground floor to third floor. Very happy with the service provided and the price.

Awesome moving company. My husband and I have never used a professional moving company before and were dreading the ordeal. But, of my goodness, the owner, Mick, was wonderful and the movers, Tim and Carlos, were fabulous. These guys are a joy to work with. They are polite, thoughtful, and respectful. We felt like we were being moved by family.

I found Bigfoot Moving Services from Angie's list and I had also seen their truck driving around town. They were very prompt. Easy to work with and schedule my moving services. They took great care with all my items. They were quick and efficient for a local move. I was very impressed with how well they were able to get everything packed and unpacked. I would absolutely use them again and they were a great value for the money that I paid. They made my move less stressful than I expected and took great care of all of my items. Highly recommended!!

They were amazing. They finished packing up all areas we didn't have time to do ourselves, including the fragile china, and moved us within the time frame they estimated. Nothing was broken. The were professional and responsible, showed up on time and with the right size crew for the job. They made the move as stress free as possible.

My experience with Bigfoot started before I booked the service. I sent Mick an email with my request. I was both surprised and pleased with his quick response. We spoke, set the move up and I couldn't be happier with my choice in moving companies. He arrived to both locations on time. He was extremely polite and I was completely confident in his ability to take care of my cabinet. I would definitely use Bigfoot again, in fact I asked for some business cards so I can give them out to friends and family.

They worked hard from the time of arrival until job was done. They did not waste time. They were pleasant and took us the customer in consideration. Price was reasonable. Mick did a great job at a very fair price for a job that I was not going to do myself it was just too heavy. He showed up on time, and was very professional about all the work he did. I highly recommend. And I will use again in the future.

Bigfoot moving was very easy to work with and we had good communication with them throughout the move. They used a three man crew for our move and all of the guys were outgoing and professional. The original time quote was within an hour of what the job actually took, I know it would have been faster but the second floor storage unit really slows down the process as I learned when I moved our goods into the unit. Everything was packaged good and moved into our house without any broken or damaged items. I would use Bigfoot again.

Mick Minnis is the owner and heart of this wonderful moving service. He was very responsive to my calls and very knowledgable about his business. They have all the equipment they would ever need and overall they were the hardest working bunch of movers I have ever had the pleasure to encounter. I saw extreme care for every piece of my furniture as well as care for the walls and doors of the homes. And although I was hesitant to use a company that charges by the hour, this crew demonstrated great stewardship for my money and I could hardly get them to slow down long enough for a drink. They were even great about having to come back another day. To finish because I had underestimated how much "junk" I had. This move actually cost less than most "flat rate"estimates I got. Definitely recommend them!
