Jeff Lucas did an excellent job in replacing our old door on the side of our house. I would use him again for work that is needed and would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

He was very good. Communicated well. I was in a time crunch and Lucas came very early in the morning the finish the job in order for me to get everything done on time. I will definitely use him again for anything around the house!!!

We'd give Jeff a A+ and highly recommend him. As we do not live in Tallahassee, we communicate via e-mail which is always prompt and he accepts electronic payments through PayPal which is very convenient for us.

Jeff was at our house the same day I called him. He evaluated what he could from the outside, and then came back for the inside repairs. He is quick to respond, and has a very good work ethic. Jeff seems genuinely concerned about issues, and fixes them thouroughly. He comes well equipped to work, and doesn't have to delay a job to go out and get the appropriate tools or materials. He has done roof repair, and floor repair for us. He is our permanent handyman!

Arranged for several estimates. Mr Lucas responded very promptly and provided an estimate that was around 15% lower than others for the same work. A start time was agreed upon and work comenced as scheduled. Even with some very cold (for our area) weather, work was completed within a week. What few very minor concerns that occured were proptly delt with very satisfactorily. Skylights and roof look great, very pleased. Have already contracted with them to replace roof on a rental townhome and some other work at my home.

Was so pleased with roofing job Mr. Lucas did that we had him to replace the wooden front steps and face boards around the garage with "composite" wood so they wouldn't need painting or rot. He gave us an estimate, ordered the required "composite" wood material and performed work as scheduled. Had one outside access panel to the bathroom whirlpool tub that I always felt was poorly done, so I asked Mr Lucas to suggest an alternative. We agreed on rebuilding it, adding hinges and to also another one required to be able to have necessary work done on the whirlpool tub. Was very pleased with the results, plus he added rigid foam insulation in a way that could easily be removed when access is necessary, but provides insulation. Very pleased.

After Mr. Lucas finished his first monthly service I went out to see his work & I was very pleased. All the shrubs were cut neatly & the lawn was flawless . I was surprised the lawn looked so good knowing that lawn service was not Mr. Lucas' specialty & his equipment was not as new as the other big companies that I have seen around town.

They did a good job. My only problem is that they left a mess when they were done so I wish they would have cleaned up better.

Called Lucas -- the only contractor who actually answered his phone. Talked to him about 4 PM and he came over that night to secure the house and see what had to be ordered. He finished the job next day includind adding a plate to the front door. Can't say enough about the responsiveness and the quality of the job.

I live out of town so knew no one to do the repairs done to my roof and kitchen ceiling. Rooms needed to be painted, house needed lots of work since it has been sitting empty for over a year. I found Lucas construction. We met once at the house to discuss what needed to be done and he sent me a very fair estimate by email. I didn't get to see the finished product for a couple months after it was completed. I was totally amazed at what an excellent job was done. The house was move in ready. The ceiling in the kitchen looks brand new and the whole house clean, painted and refreshed.

Lucas Construction provided the lowest bid and provided top quality workmanship . We will use Lucas Construction again if the need arise

Everything went as planned.

I was out of town when the work was performed on my house, however the date of putting the windows in was delayed.

The job went very smooth. I called him & he told me when he would stop by & he was about 10 mins early told me what the job would cost & about an hour later my problem was over.
