He came out pretty quickly and gave an estimate within a day or two. He e-mailed a contract which we signed and sent back. He scheduled the work which did not require ordered materials the following week. He did what he said he would do, as we discussed and when we discussed ( the weather prevented a few days of outside painting). we were very pleased with hi dependability.

Jeff arrived with only one bag of mud mixture to repair the cracks which were obvious and known to us before hand as the carpet had been cut to reveal the extent of the cracking.When Jeff ran out of the mud mixture, he went to his truck and returned with a can of spray-in foam insulation to fill and used it to fill in the remainder of the cracks. When I informed my husband, he called Jeff and asked him to purchase additional mud to repair the cracks properly. Prior to beginning the procedure, Jeff used a grinding tool on a raised crack and made no effort to cover or protect anything in our home. It became apparent the work was outside the scope of his experience and he should not have taken the job. After the flooring was halfway installed, my husband viewed the work when he arrived home and contacted Jeff about removing the flooring so the foundation could be properly repaired. We had to incur further expense to have the work done properly. When asked to refund a portion of the money, Jeff refused. Also, when Jeff provided a materials list for the flooring, he failed to mention the transition pieces would be glued down. We purchased real wood transition pieces with holes. Jeff's flooring guy but the pieces but never installed them. The work remains left undone.

Fantastic! I would recommend Elite Home Services. He arrived when he said he would, maintained a professional demeanor throughout the job, priced his services fairly and did a great job. Because he did such a great job giving one of my bathrooms a facelift, I am calling him back to remodel my other bathroom.

I was really looking forward to hearing back from this company based on the Angie's List ratings. I called two or three times. I never heard back from anyone.

I needed repairs done on my deck and Jeff did a wonderful job! He was thorough, professional and went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased. He was responsive and he showed up when he said he would. If you need carpentry repairs. Call Elite!

Again, I emailed this company twice looking for estimates for some work I need done around my house. Never heard back from them. Gave them the 48 hrs they said was needed to receive a response, but never got one.

arrived early. verified I was ok with the work. willing to re-do if I change my mind.

The new mailbox was a JOB. I had been the victim of mailbox baseball and wanted a mailbox that would stand up to the vandalism. The soil into which the post had to be places was hard clay. Jeff selected tough materials, dug deep, and used plenty of concrete. I don't think I'll be having to replace it anytime soon.

It was a little expensive but they did a lot of little extra things.

A factor in the delay in starting the job was the ordering of the doors (one or the ordered doors received was incorrect, and a new one had to be ordered). I was prepared for a delay, though, figuring that Jeff had to schedule at least two consecutive days to do the job. In other words, do be prepared for a delay on non-emergency work. Jeff was well-prepared to do the work, and did a very professional job on the whole project. He worked very closely with the person he hired for a day -- primarily, I gather, install the back door. Jeff is very knowledgeable and has a good eye for detail, from the initial viewing of my home, to the planning and drawing of the contract, to the completion of the job. He had to deal with wood rot, in addition to the fitting of the doors, and with sizing the trim to the new doors. He also installed a dead bolt and door lock to the third door -- all locks keyed alike. Jeff and his helper did a very clean and professional job, hauled away the old doors (and other trash) and worked a quietly as possible (considering the job). Jeff was also responsive in person and to email and calls I made to him -- answering and asking questions as they occurred. My wife and I are very pleased with the upgraded doors with the internal blinds. We consider the money spent well worth it.

After finding and contacting Jeff Lucas at Elite Home Services through Angie's List, he came to the house to give us an estimate on replacing three doors and the frames. Two of the frames had wood rot issues, about 15 years old. Jeff gave us a good estimate and directed us to Taylor Windows and Doors for the selection and ordering of the doors. His team picked them up, installed and stained/painted the doors, all in the time frame that we needed and what he quoted. We were very impressed with Jeff's quality of work, he and his team's professionalism and very much appreciated the good counsel in selecting the doors. We are very happy with the work and will be using Elite again in the spring.

For years we have wanted to replace the lanoleum in our bathrooms and kitchen with ceramic tile. Not knowing anyone in the business, and not wanting to perform the work ourselves, I waited until I got a reccommedation from Angie's List before we decided for sure to go ahead with this project. Jeff had excellent reviews, so he was my first choice. Once I left an email message to his company he responded right away and set up a time when he could come and meet us and give us an estimate of the cost and time it would take to complete the job. Jeff informed me of the selections that would be the right choice for our home and where to purchase it. AgaIn, he was right, we selected the purchased the tile and had it available at the house for when we were ready to start work. Jeff was very helpful and had offered to pick up the tile himself. Mike was diligent in moving furniture around and making sure that we had a path and space to get around in the kitchen. He was very neat and always cleaned as he installed the tile. the estimated was given that it would take 3 days and the the work was completed as promised. We have only received praise on how beautiful our floors look each time someone visits our home. We are very pleased with with his workmanship and and his professionalism. We don't believe that anyone can go wrong in selecting this company.

Ladies were very punctual and professional. They arrived just a few minutes prior to the appointment time. They were very efficient and detail oriented. I was pleased with the overall effort and results.

My daughter was getting married on Dec. 3rd and we had delayed getting things done due to my travel schedule. I contacted Jeff Lucas of Elite Home Services after seeing his grading on Angie's List. Jeff and Angela came out the next day and we walked through what we were wanting done, having entire interior of our house painted, as well as home cleaning and other general repairs to get ready for the rehearsal dinner on Dec.2nd. He emailed me the next day with his quote and then a contract for services. They began work within a week and did an exceptional job. Jeff brought in Bill Beam to do painting and Bill was great, showed up each morning and worked to get everything painted. Jeff worked to get our new microwave installed over the range. Understand that the cabinets were not configured for an over range microwave, but Jeff figured out how to do it and made it look like it had always been that way. It was excellent work. Bill did a great job of painting, always cleaned up at the end of each day and made the whole house look brand new. Jeff and Bill took down all the A/C vent covers and repainted them white. It was a perfect finishing touch. We had stained solid wood doors throughout the house and originally we were going to paint them all. Bill recommended we do some touch-up staining and varnish them. He was right they look great. After Jeff and Bill finished, Angela came in and did a deep cleaning and made the house sparkle. I cannot speak highly enough of Jeff and Angela as well as Bill. They have done a great job and I already have numerous task that I will get Jeff to do after the wedding. There prices are very fair and the work is exceptional and they go above and beyond what is asked. I recommend them highly.

Jeff did a a large job for us two weeks ago. We like his work so much that we had him remove and replace two sets of doors that had wood rot in the frames. He replaced both doors with a composite material. Another great expereience with him. Everything was done on time, the workmenship was great, the work area was cleaned and he removed the old materials when he completed the work. no problems or issues and the new doors are great.

Overall I am very disturbed as I had given glowing report the first time. Worse, Elite Home Services then advertised same services as a special on Angies List. The special was for the same services, the same amount of time, and for 59.00 dollars plus 10.00 dollars for cleaning supplies. Three weeks earlier I paid 55.00 dollars including supplies. I do not want anyone misled by my initial glowing report about housecleaning. I used Elite for home repair at roughly the same time and was basically satisfied but would not use again.

Mary paid close attention to detail, asking questions as needed. My wife and I were very pleased with the results of her work. Later in the day, we received a follow-up email from Jeff Lucas of Elite Home Services -- asking for feedback on the cleaning. I let him know how pleased we are with the Mary's work.

Went to Angie's List to get the top 3 companies in Tallahassee who could do the work. After reading reviews, I made just one call - to Jeff Lucas at Elite Homes. I was very impressed with all of the comments that had been made about him and his work. Set an appointment with Jeff on a Saturday. After he didn't arrive at the scheduled time, we gave him a call. He answered his phone and let us know he thought the appointment was Monday and he was shopping but would come by. Within in an hour, Jeff was at our house. We don't know who got the appointment wrong, but it really didn't matter. From this I learned several things about Jeff. First if you ever call him, he will return your call promptly. Second, he was always tries to please his customer. We explained to him the improvements we wanted done and Jeff made really great suggestions about what we were trying to do. Without Jeff's input, the final product would not have looked as great. Jeff gave us a rough estimate and gave us a formal written estimate after we told him he would do the work. His insurance company also provided insurance binders for liability and worker's compensation. Jeff helped us pick out the wood flooring to replace the tile in the kitchen and talked about the different types of installation. Jeff ordered the wood for us and brought it to the house for the installation. Bottom line - we told Jeff that all the work needed to be completed no later than November 15th and it was completed on November 3rd. Whenever you call Jeff, if he doesn't pick up the right away, he WILL call you back within a reasonable time. No need to make second and third calls to him. HE RESPONDS! If you ask him to come by, he will do it. If Jeff does not feel comfortable with some part of the work, he will bring in a professional in that area to make sure the job is done correctly. He doesn't try to do something he is not an expert in and then the finished product ends up not looking right. He checks on his subcontractors once or twice a day. Jeff is a good person, reliable and easy to work with and we would definitely work with his company again. Jeff thanks for the outstanding job - we are absolutely pleased with the final results! One last comment. When Jeff was at the house, we turned on our heating system for the first time this fall. Of course for the first time ever it did not come on. Jeff brought in a heating and air contractor and it was operational the next day.

He was very reasonable. He went the extra mile and actually cleaned up the refrigerator for me. I have a bottom freezer with drawers that are very hard to get under. He had the drawers out and he took the time to clean the bottom of the refrigerator out for me. But he turned out everything that possibly could have caused the problem. He used to work for the company that I bought the refrigerator from so he has been to my house before he went on his own. He is the guy I call regularly. He checked everything that he thought would be causing the problem and I have not had any problem with that. He even advised me to call him back if it happens again. He did not do a lot but he just charged me for the time basically which I expect. He is very good. I will use him again in the future.

I've used him twice and I'm extremely pleased. The first time he installed a patio door and did an outstanding job. The second time it was kind of a shopping list of things that I had to have done to the property. It was a very handyman type job. He did it in record time at a very fair price. He is very personable and does a very good quality work. He is timely. He is there when he is supposed to be and right on the button. He called back right away. Most definitely he will be the first person I'll call if I have anything within his scope of work.

Housekeeping was consistent and I was treated professionally. Angela uses all her own supplies, and her vacuum is amazing. I have many animals and for the most part, she was able to help fith the fur control. Jeff put in the toilet, vanity mirror, light fixture that I had purchased as well as repair the ceiling where the skylight had been. He prepared and painted the bathroom walls as well. It took a while to get the second estimate for the tub and shower and he indicated that it would need permits and recommended another firm to continue my renovation. I am very pleased with my work in progress bathroom. The ceiling looks great, and the vanity/mirror/fixtures look great.

Prior to the job itself, I spoke with Jeff Lucas and he was curteous, helpful, and even sent me to a location where I saved some money on the tile itself. He brought in some extra folks to lay the tile and the job was done much quicker than I expected. t looks awesome, and now I need to figure out how soon I can get them back to work on the rest of the downstairs.
