The Original Frameless Shower Doors

The sales person I worked with was very nice and professional. When I placed my order I was quoted three week manufacturing time, It has now been almost 9 weeks. I called frequently and never got more information than "your doors should ship this week". I was told the doors shipped on a Friday but did not receive a notification until following Monday that they were actually being picked up from manufacturer from shipping. I would never do business with this company again. Delivery is estimated for three days before Christmas. Will probably January before I can get them installed.

The installers were completely unprofessional, lacked work ethic, were supposedly older in age (27-29) yet acted completely juvenile while on the job. They cut the top bar incorrectly, placed too large of screws in, and silicone was put everywhere and not cleaned up properly. They came out a second time to fix the issue and the same installers joined the new two installers when I specifically asked for new installers to come fix it due mistakes and work ethic that took place on the first installation. So now I have 4 men is a medium size bathroom all acting loud, speaking rudely about me and the fact that they had to come back to the job, all the while continueing the same behavior that took place at first. It was completley uncomfortable! The silicone was also falling off after immediate use of the shower. Highly doubtful anything was done about their behvaior and workmanship. Not to mention these people are extremely expensive verse other companies, youd think their work ethic and workmanship would equate! Would never recommend this company to anyone!

Well. Delivered quality product as advertised/sold for a lot less than what local glass place quoted.

I love the shower stall and the mirror. They did a fantastic job and the shower glass really is very easy to keep clean by wiping it dry with a microfiber towel after showering.

After 3 attempts to fix the original installation, they finally sent someone out that knew what they were doing. He resolved the issue inside of an hour. He surprised me when he stated "some installers just don't care about quality". I realized then that I should have hired another company.

Representative came to our condo and took measurements. Based on his measurements and the options we selected, a price was quoted. About 2 weeks later the installers showed up with custom cut glass panels and installed them. Installation went well and I believe they were done inside of 2 hours. The final price was exactly what we had been quoted earlier. Very satisfied with all aspects of this installation.

The company does not provide estimates until the tile is up. In one respect I understand but when you're trying to schedule your "Trades," this company is uncooperative.

It took them 3 tries to get it right. Trying to get an appointment on a Saturday was difficult.

Set an appointment for new installation between 1 and 3 on Wednesday..they text me at 5:30 that they're not coming. Called me back Thursday morning at 10:00am to reschedule the appointment for seven days later. Up until this point I was a repeat customer. I would hate to see what would happen if I had a service issue.

The final product was exactly what I wanted; however, the process of getting the glass installed was a nightmare. Once the final order went in, there was a discrepancy in the hardware color - the draw up said one finish, while the invoice said another finish. I was able to get that squared away before the hardware arrived at the shop. Once the glass arrived, I was called for an installation date. They scheduled me for a week out and I took a day off of work to be home for the installation. During the 2 hour time window provided, a representative called me to inform me that the glass was cut 5 inches too big and they needed to re-cut the glass, thus needing to reschedule. I was then rescheduled for a week and a half later. I was given another 2 hour time window. Much to my surprise, no one showed up, or even called! Once the window expired, I called to speak with a manager. Rather than apologizing and/or crediting my account for the inconvenience and wasted time off from work on 2 different days, she had a different excuse for each occurrence, which only made the situation even more annoying. I was told that due to the rain, the installers were delayed for the day - yet despite their policies and procedures, no one called to inform me of such. I was even asked to reschedule meetings and appointments so that I can bend to their schedule. So, another day of vacation time was burned waiting for people who weren't even going to show up. It took 3 installation dates and 3 weeks after the glass originally arrived for the glass to finally be installed! The sales personnel and final product were amazing. The installation team took extra care of my discontinued porcelain tile in the shower as they installed the glass. Unfortunately, the office itself has less than sub-par customer service.

Amazing!!! I called to get an estimate. Jim Wadsworth came to my house on June 2nd to take measurements, and work out a final price. He was very pleasant to work with, and we felt the price was fair. He set up the installation date for June 13th, less than 2 weeks away!! The installers came and did a great job. Everybody was very nice and professional. The doors are absolutely beautiful, and the whole process was so easy and fast. I will definitely use this company again.

Perfect in every way. Always on time.. Door is beautiful. The complete job was 1500 dollars and I had another estimate from another company for 2200, same door.

Several years ago, the provider installed shower doors at my home. The work was done well. Recently, I have been remodeling my rental units in both Hallandale and Sunny Isles. Because of their past service, I decided to call them for an estimate. I have tried to get an appointment with them 3 times! They either have changed owner or they have gotten too busy for their own good. Will never use them again and will look for another provider in a sea of other providers. Thanks for nothing. The estimator was prompt courteous and made a few suggestions, all of which were great ideas. The installers arrives a little late, but were courteous and very professional. They ran into a snag with the drawing by the estimator and drove back to the factory to get a corrected part. The shower looks amazing and wold use them in the future!

Set up an appointment with the Office, they were to come on 10/2/15 between 9-11 am, Sales person called at 11:10 and said he was running 1/2 late, never asked if my schedule could accommodate me staying longer. I asked why he didn't call at 10:30 to see if I was able to stay longer (no answer). Then I called the office twice to talk to a Manager, they promised he would call. Never did. WOW business must be good. NEVER EVEN GOT TO THE PRICING PART I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

Everything was very positive. We had a minor blemish in our shower door and after contacting the service department, the shower door was re-coated and repaired to our satisfaction

I got four quotes based on a design drawing I supplied. All the suppliers were near each other except for one that was significantly higher. I picked The Original Frameless Shower Doors based on talking with one of their representatives and reviews here. I had a few hiccups, including the first installation where the glass was cut wrong so I had to wait a few days for them to cut a new piece. But they were very professional throughout the whole process. The installers (Dan) were top notch and could not have done a better job and I am VERY picky This was a major bath remodel (walls, plumbing, electrical, shower, cabinets, tiling, lighting, etc.) with some expensive materials and I did all the work except for the glass. So when I say they did a great job, I mean it. Would definitely recommend them and would also recommend they make sure to keep Dan.

All issues have been resolved. I gave them a "C" for responsiveness due to the fact that when I had a problem no one called me back. I've been informed that since then, the man in charge of customer service has been replaced. Hopefully this will resolve any further responding issues. Thanks to Dan for solving my problem! (3rd time is a charm!) Dan knew exactly how to fix my water splashing problem after I had 2 installation teams come out prior to him, and both did not fix my problem. "Dan is the man!" :) I do want to say, the company does stand by their reputation, and I want to thank them for finally following through to make sure that I was a satisfied customer. Because of this, I will consider using them again in the future.

Have to say both my husband and I were happy and impressed with this company. First, we went online and got a quote for the item we wanted. Then we got a call and had someone come out to take measurements. Before the measurement appointment, we decided to go to the showroom to understand details. The showroom is no large but has all the details of all the fixtures on display so you better understand what you are ordering. When the measuring person arrived (who was on time and very professional) we fined tuned the details that changed from the original order and were given a new price on the spot that included installation. We got a call about a week later to organize an installation time. A date was set but the day before we got a call from the company to ask if it is possible to change the date because the installation guy had an emergency. We were able to get it installed the day after the original appointment. A team of two young men came. One was clearly the expert and the other a helper. They were polite, tidy and thorough. I even watched from time to time and was impressed at the training the expert gave to the new guy. There was a lot of care in the details. Because of the, please understand that installation takes a couple of hours. They have to get the angles right and cut and align the doors accordingly. Long story short, the Original Frameless Shower Doors crew did a wonderful job. I've been using the shower for three weeks now and absolutely love it. It is beautiful and flawless. Thank you.

Everyone in the company was very professional. The Sales Department was very prompt in providing pricing and measuring our shower area. The installers were very professional and did a great job installing the system. They were very neat and left the area clean. They also explained the warrantee and any care and maintenance required.

I was so excited to find a quality shower door installer on Angie's list and called immediately. Brian was to come on a Friday at 4 p.m. By 6ish no one showed up so I called; I had to leave a message. Got online to find the contact form and filled it out. Got on facebook and posted a comment. Called Saturday to talk to someone (website says open,) but got no one, so left another message. After receiving no calls, emails, etc., finally called again today and was referred to a supervisor. After several minutes on hold, she picked up and there was laughing in the background, so that was infuriating since she immediately put me back on hold for a second to quiet the laughing before she talked to me. Of course she said that had nothing to do with me. Anyway, while on hold, the recording just went on and on about happy clients and fabulous customer service. I'm assuming my voicemails, emails, contact form imformation and facebook posts just got deleted and never passed along to whomever is responsible for customer service? Why can't people just do what they get paid to do? I can't say I've ever been laughed at to where I could actually hear it. Haha, do it to my back, but seriously, doing it to my face is bold.

I had an atypical experience with The Original Frameless Shower Door Company. It seems my project was fraught with extenuating factors which created a domino effect of issues, which initially made me think I was going to submit an extremely negative and cautionary review. But I feel this would be doing a disservice to what i feel is a good company worthy of your business. First the explanation: There was an employee who was directly responsible for all of my dissatisfaction, but I am happy to report that he is no longer with the company. And if I had any hand in his removal, I am glad. This employee was non-communicative, disorganized and did not value the completion of jobs in any resemblance of a timely fashion as reflective of the estimated completion time frame given at the initial measurement visit. The final straw was when he tried to "shake me down" for additional monies after I had been compliant with the terms of the contract I had signed. During that telephone conversation, I stood my ground, he hung up disappointed, and the following week I learned that he had been separated from the company. As I have stated, if I had any hand in advancing that dismissal, I feel I have helped the company progress to a better state. Now for the review: The initial measurement visit occurred three days after my first contact. And that was only because I had called midday on the Saturday after Christmas and Monday was already booked. Donald Arthur came and measured and explained that due to our partially standing Master Bath shower surround (the original, 30 year shower door had crashed to the floor that Saturday) a crew would have to come to demolish the remained pieces and he would return the same day to take the final measurements. This is exactly what occurred. The Guest Bath would be able to go into production immediately, since this would be the initial placement of shower doors in that bath. Estimated installation time frame was 5 to 7 days from final measurement. Mine took longer due to the explanation above, but there were silver linings during this wait. I have worked on "the front line" in medical offices and have experienced the frustrating situation where you are unable to explain the truth of a dysfunctional work situation to the public, due to needing to retain your job. The poor women who had to continually promise call backs to answer my inquires have my empathy, understanding, and sympathy for the uncomfortable position forced upon you. Angelique deserves accolades, as during my telephone conversation, she was taking notes regarding my issues, repeating them back to me to insure the accuracy, relaying everything to her manager and then staying on the line with me until the call was connected with the Installation department. Thank you Angelique, you deserve "Customer Service Person of the Year" in my book!!!! Best news of all is Erica is now in charge of the Installation department! With her at the helm, The Original Frameless Shower Door Company should see a major increase in production and satisfied clients. This woman, with Gail as her co-worker in Installations, I have been told, took the disorganized Installation department and within four days had it completely transformed into an efficient, well-run vital part of the company. She, it was intimated, was the driving force behind this department when it was unfortunately being headed by the male employee described in the above explanation. Finally, she was given the position she was long overdue in receiving. Thank you to the powers that be that recognized this talent and allowed her to advance, much to the betterment of your company. I had the benefit of meeting two different installation crews and one demolition crew during this project. All of the gentlemen were, polite, efficient, friendly, and very good at their tasks. They always telephoned about a half an hour prior to their arrival and were always true to their time estimate. The job site was immaculate when they were finished and they took special care to insure there would be no damages to all surrounding areas. My installed frameless shower doors are beautiful as well as functional. Much better solution than the alternative of a shower curtain. I would recommend this product and this company without reservation.
