When they came on the 27th of February, They remove the old one and Installed one of the push button ID. No one else gave me the prices. They change the top part of the lock with a key less entry with a dead bolt. Instead of crediting me they charge me a $154.00. Every time they came , they charge me $65.00 and charge me of $85 for removing the old hardware. Overall charge is $510 for a lock.

It was great. They were very speedy. They answered right away. They dispatched somebody right away. They were timely. I was trying to get in to the house using other methods for 4 hours and it took him 10 minutes to open the door. Gentleman was very nice and explained what was going on. I would be very happy to call them again if I needed them. I couldnt' complain because he was so quick.

Dave at Richard's Locksmith & Safes had me send him a picture of the lock and walked me through some steps to trouble shoot the problem. It resolved my issue. It was refreshing to have a company genuinely help a customer, even if it potentially meant that they would not have to send a technician to my home.

Called Richard's Locksmith on a Friday and they had next day availability. Jay came and changed 5 external locks in our home. We used them 6 years ago when we first moved and the prices have only increased by $2-4. Reliable, quick, professional and came on time. Can't ask for much more than that!

When I called, I expected that I would have to wait a day or two for service. They came within the hour. The installation went smoothly and cost $15 more than they quoted, which given the complexity of the new lock, was to me a real bargain. Their installer was knowledgeable and went about his work quickly and quietly. The lock works perfectly.

I locked my keys in the house so I ended up being locked out of my car and house. My neighbor called someone local who drilled the lock and got me inside. However, he couldn't fix the lock so my house would have been opened and unprotected all night. Richard's Locksmith was recommended to me and I am glad it was. I told him the story and he had someone come out immediately. The tech, Jeremy worked hours to try and find a lock that would work to replace the old lock. The door had mirrors on one side so the normal size lock wouldn't work plus it was a very old lock. But Jeremy was very kind and wouldn't give up. He worked hard to figure out what type of lock I needed for the door and stayed past his time to make sure the new lock worked and we were protected. This is true kindness and dedication. Thank you Richard's. I was afraid I was going to have to buy a new front door!

They answered the phone on a Saturday afternoon. Unlike three other locksmith that I called. Described the problem of locking myself out of my house. He gave me a quote and said that he could be there in 45 minutes. They arrived on time and had me insides my house in five minutes. The locksmith who showed up was professional and knowledgable. Payment was quick and easy, the locksmith had a electronic credit card machine in the van. I hate when techs/personnel have to call the office and read the credit card over the phone to the office. Would use them again!

They were teriffic. I called them. told them what my needswere. told them the type of handle i needed. He said no problem. He gave me a reasonably price. he had someone over in a couple of hours. There no problems and no markings. And the job was done very well.

Changed multiple locks, rekeyed. Showed up on time was professional and helpful. Would use again.

They are awesome and have come out twice for me to work on two different doors. They are fast and came out immediately.

I have nothing but good things to say about the work performed. Jay, came out and explained the different options I had available to me and quoted me all the prices before any work was done so that I could choose what fit into my budget. Very professional and excellent work done.

I was very pleased with the prompt and professional service call by Richard's when I needed to retrofit all my external door hardware recently. I provided new Baldwin handlesets and locks to their locksmith and the job was done in four hours to my satisfaction. I paid Richard's by check and a few days later after paying I noticed that one of the locks installed was not functioning properly. I called it in and Richard's sent back the locksmith that originally installed the lock who promptly fixed the problem to my complete satisfaction at no additional charge. I was left with the impression that Richard's stands by their work . I would not hesitate in using them again for my security needs.

short and sweet. I don't think he was here for more than 15 minutes. A pretty expensive lesson for us, but that is mostly my fault for not understanding in the first place.

The lock we had stopped working. I called to get the lock changed out. I knew it was a complicated job because these Weathershield doors, have a multi-point locking system. They were responsive initially. He did something to it and it started working. Got charged for the service call plus the time. I called them again because it happened again, got charged again. The lock was pretty worn and it is built into the door. He, I think his name was Mike nice guy came out again, gave suggestions on what to do with the door. I said ok, send me an estimate for replacing the entire lock. He said that the parts need to be ordered and it will be an international order. Fine. The fax came in on Oct. 17th, 2013 signed by David. I called them and said lets do it, we need to get this fixed since we have people living there. It was going to be about $700. I waited three weeks to follow up since it was going to take a couple of weeks for it to arrive. I spoke to the guy who picked up the phone, he said, we'll get back to you at the end of the day, because we need to follow up with the manufacturer. Never got a call back. I called two other times and same thing. On Jan. 22nd, I called got the same guy on the phone. I said, can I speak to the owner or manager, he said, this is he, which is the same guy i've been talking to. He said he'll get back to me at the end of the day. I said to him, if you are the owner or manager, shouldn't you be able to tell me now what's going on. Anyway, I called at the end of the day. He said that the manufacturer doesn't think they make that part anymore, and will have to get back to him. BS. I told him, the manufacturer would know upfront if they don't make a part anymore. I told him to cancel whatever it was and I would have preferred for them to be honest with me from the beginning. If they didn't want to do a complicated job, just be upfront. What a waste of time. If you have an expensive door or lock that needs attention, look elsewhere because they obviously can't do it. At least the other two locksmiths before them were honest and said they couldn't do the job.

Called to have a lock cylinder reset and they had someone out within an hour. The gentleman was courteous and professional and got the job done quickly. I'll be back if I need a locksmith again. Thanks!

He gave me an excellent lock, was reasonably priced, fixed a part of the door for me and I would use him again.

Mike arrived right on time, and even offered to come early. He was very quick, friendly, and knowledgeable. In addition to rekeying two locks and making copies of the keys on-site, he was also able to fix our front door, which was not closing properly. I will definitely called Richard's again the next time I need a locksmith.

We purchased a new home and needed the locks changed. We called on a Saturday morning and a few hours later someone was there. Prompt, courteous and professional. He even took care of the lock on the front door that previously was not locking correctly by replacing the tumbler with the correct version. We were very satisfied with the work.

I contacted Richard's at approximately 5:00 in the evening on Thursday and scheduled an appointment for 9:00 the next morning. Technician arrived promptly, was courteous and got to work right away. Upon disassembly of the latch mechanism, he discovered the internal mechanism was broken. I told him that I would hate to have to purchase another $300 handle and then have to pay to have it installed. He then went to his truck and dug around in his spare parts and was able to find a used part from another old door handle! He installed is and now my door handle works like new again! Would highly recommend.
