He got the GFI working but when he left, said that the post and landscape lights would require some additional wiring. They would send an estimate later. Well, low and behold, that night the lights went on! Did he do something? Don't know but we received an estimate for over $2,200 to fix something that must not really have been broken.

Called them at around 1 this afternoon and Jeremy arrived at our house within an hour. He was professional,courteous and worked quickly. Will call them again if we need electrical work performed again in the future.

Electrician was professional and nice. He did a great job. The women scheduling in the office messed up my appointment several times, but fortunately they were able to fix up their mess. Since the electrician was great I will use again.

Perfect! Everything they said they would do happened (call, arrival time, etc) I recommended them to my brother, and he liked them as well! They also have nice emails cautioning people about things such as overloading circuits during Xmas, etc. I'm guessing on the installation date below!

Electrician called about 30 minutes prior to arrival, arrived and got right to work. He verified all wires in the fan switch box and replaced the box (old one was stripped out). Relocated in a few inches to the side and rewired the box and switch. Additionally he checked and corrected the wiring of all outlets in the room to ensure everything is working properly. All this in an hour. Electrician was courteous and professional.

Our Handyman had come across an electrical problem that he said was beyond his scope and recommended Excel Electrical to us. I called Bob while our handyman was there and let him explain the problem since it was a little complicated. Bob said someone from the office would call to schedule the work. An hour or so later, the office called and said that John would be there between 8:30 and 9:30 the next morning. John arrived in a reasonable time, but about a half hour into his work time, he was called away on an emergency. He requested our approval to leave the job and return later. We didn't mind agreeing to that at all, as we weren't going anywhere. He wrote his time in and out on a card and left it with us. He came back about mid-afternoon and was extremely apologetic for having been called away, but we were okay with it, and it was no big deal to us. He was profusely grateful for our understanding. He finished the job, went over the bill with us, and was on his way at a decent hour. We would hire Excel again in a heartbeat, as we were very happy with their quick response and professional manner.

They are so easy to deal with and everyone who has come to the house has been wonderful. Easy to talk to when trying to explain what you need. I am not an electrician so all I have to tell them is what I need and they just do it. He asked a few questions gave me some options, since he has been here before he knew just how to get the power to the unit. No complaining just got to work and in no time he was done. Excel Electric is the only electrical company that works on my home. They are polite, neat, very accommodating with your schedule and the office people are very nice also. Just no. 1 in my book.

I have used Excel Electric three times now. They have always been wonderful and extremely professional. John is especially competent and excellent at doing tough projects in older homes like mine where a lot of the wiring is out of date. He is tireless and never gives up. Excel has always been super responsive. They even came out within a couple hours notice when I unexpectedly needed an irrigation pump wired up to stay on schedule with a tight construction schedule at my house. They provide excellent value: great quality and thorough work at a fair price. I found out about them because my neighbor originally recommended them to me. Now, I highly recommend them as well.

This company is honorable, easy to work with. I was in the hospital and they waited for me to return to take care of my invoice. I have used them for 2 years now.

Very well. The Electrician called before coming over, on time. Started to to the work and after a few minutes asked for permission to do a slightly different installation than expected (NOT additional cost). When I asked for an explanation he told me I'd bought a timer for the wrong voltage but that he could work around it. I asked if he could go with me to home improvement store to get the right timer. He got permission from his office to do so. He explained that he worked on an hourly basis/rates etc. I said I understood. He actually lost about an hour before he was able to get started and charged us for an extra half hour. More than fair. Was originally quoted $199.00, after the trip to home improvement store it was $232.00 Total. I strongly recommend this company. Professional, thorough, and very fair.

They did well - they showed up on short notice, found the problem, and fixed the problem. I called in the afternoon and asked if someone could come that day - they had someone there in about an hour. He called to let me know when he was on the way, as promised by the girl in the office. He was good - he was knowledgeable, thorough, and resourceful. And he spoke perfect English and was courteous. The house is old and has several breaker boxes and still has a fuse box as well. It took some definite persistence and resourcefulness to finally identify the problem, which was a burned out fuse in a hidden location. Once the fuse was replaced, the problem was solved. The key was that he located that fuse, which I wasn't even aware of. He also made some recommendations for other improvements to the electrical wiring that I will do in the future. And he re-wired the connection to the water heater while he was there. All in all it was a good experience.

Very good and it was fast all this work was done quickly.

Everything went very well - they were quick and prompt in providing an estimate, were very friendly in modifying the estimate when I changed the work requirements, and promptly came out and completed the work when I accepted the estimate. The price was not cheap, but seemed reasonable for south Florida.

I thought it was going to be a big ordeal. I was pleased to find that he only needed to change the switch out. He was honest with me saying that I had too much stuff plugged in and that I should get more power. I will use this company when I am ready to take on that project. I really don't remember the total but it was fair.

Bob Messing came out the day after I called to do the estimate. I used the company previously 4-5 years ago, but he still remembered being at my house before; a nice personal touch. Phoned me with the estimate the next day, and I received a written estimate via email the following day. John and Stephen arrived the morning we'd scheduled the following week, right on time. They needed to install conduit piping for the lines for my patio fans and made every effort to keep it as unobtrusive as they could. After a coat of paint, it all looks great. And they were two friendly and trustworthy guys to boot. At first I thought the original estimate of $1750 seemed high, but they worked for six straight hours and did a few extra things that added slightly to the total, and I'm sure I got my money's worth. A very good experience and I'd definitely use them again.

They came on time, were exrremely thourough in the understanding of what needed to be done, went to work on the list and were done in one day. The charges we exactly as the estimte. I was pleased and will call them again.

First time no return call. Second time appointment made for 8 or 9 am- no show, no call, and no response. 1 week later late in afternoon, they called to say they had a tech free and asked if we still wanted the work on their time. Quite unprofessional.

THEY DID WHAT THEY DID VERY WELL. THEY WERE VERY PUNCTUAL AND DID THE JOB IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME. ALL IN ALL, I WAS HAPPY WITH EVERYTHING THAT THEY DID AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN .

THEY DID A REALLY GOOD JOB. I WAS REALLY HAPPY WITH THEM. THEY WERE REALLY NICE PEOPLE AND THEY WERE VERY CARING. THEY DIDN'T MESS UP ON ANYTHING THAT THEY WERE WORKING ON.

I WAS PLEASED WITH THE SERVICES THAT EXCEL ELECTRICAL GROUP PROVIDED. THE PRICE WAS EXPENSIVE, BUT WORTH THE WHILE. THEY TOOK THE OLD WIRES OUT, AND INSTALLED BRAND NEW WIRES. THE BLADES ON THE FANS WERE MOVING SO FAST IT MADE MY HEAD SPIN.

I HAVE USED EXCEL FOR ABOUT SEVENTEEN YEARS KNOWS. THE MEN WHO COME OUT ARE ALWAYS CLEAN AND VERY NICE. I FEEL SAFE TO HAVE THEM IN MY HOME, AS THEY SEEM TO BE VERY HONEST. THEY ALWAYS CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES, WHICH IS NOT LIKE SOME OTHER COMPANIES.
