I wasn't really satisfied and I'll tell you why. This is an important one because when I called and I spoke with Dyan herself of Dusting by Dyan, she told me that we don't charge by the hour and that they'll stay till the job is done. I was impressed with that because everyone else goes, you know, you get 3 hours, you get 4 hours, whatever it is...so I was really excited about that. When they came...I have a large house and I don't require them to do everything because that's impossible. So I tell them which rooms they don't have to do and what they do have to do. Again, one lady was in charge and she was pretty good, the other one knew nothing. I mean, she just walked around and occasionally she did what the other woman told her. The bottom line was, they didn't finish the things that I asked them to do and their response was, we are only here 3 hours, we have to go. That was a complete contrast to what the owner had said they were going to do, so I was really upset with that and I would not hire them again because of that. And also their equipment was horrible. They used a vacuum that scratched up my floors. It had no wheels anymore. It was just like dragging plastic on the floor. It was terrible. They all say they were going to bring their own supplies then they don't and ask you for what you have. They need new equipment. They need a new vacuum, to start with, one that doesn't scratch up the floors. They need to decide amongst themselves how they operate, is it 3 hours or is it till the job is done? They can't tell you one thing and then do the other. The price is a B because I anticipated paying that amount of money for the job they promised, but I didn't get the job they promised. They came 3 hours late.

No services were performed. This was the equivalent of an old fashioned bait and switch operation. The owner, Diane Walsh and I discussed the house and the services to be performed at length on the phone last week. I very specific, because my husband and I are particular, and we like a thorough cleaning each time. Diane went through a list of what they do, using terms like “sanitize” the bathroom. She even included services that other companies generally don’t “offer” such as sweeping my patio area (I always have the furniture wiped down.) and regularly checking the refrigerator and oven for spills. Diane even asked me for the square footage of my house, which made total sense because she wasn’t actually coming to see the size of the house. The price she gave me was very reasonable, $95.00 for the first cleaning and $75 weekly thereafter. She said that the first time estimate was “ball park” and might have to be adjusted once the supervisor, who would come with the cleaning - crew saw the house. She also added that the $75.00 weekly price was set regardless. When they got to the house, the supervisor, Jean, immediately began complaining about each thing I showed her and how much work it would be. When we finished the walk- through, she said it would be initially more than $95.00, which I expected because of what Diane had said previously about a ball park figure. Then she said the price would be $200.00! My husband’s reply was, “No it won’t!” Jean then called Diane, and told us that the lowest Diane would go was $175. We told them that we weren’t interested and had them leave. First, I want to reiterate that everything I showed Jean I had gone over in detail with Diane on the phone. The only thing that had been left undetermined was whether they would use all of their own cleaning products or some of ours. Diane and I We had concurred that if I preferred my own over any of the items that they carried I would supply that product. Jean told me that she was told that I was supplying all cleaning products, so even that was false! I would also like to add that we have been getting our house cleaned weekly for the last twenty years and have paid from $70.00 a week up to $105.00 a week. I know that many services have a slightly higher first time fee and would have initially agreed to a price higher than $95.00. The amount it was raised to was not only unreasonable (especially considering that my house is clean to begin with) but absurd and a total waste of time for me.

They show up right on time and do great work. I am very pleased with their service. The dust everything, mop and vacuum all the floors, clean the windows, and take care of anything else that needs to be cleaned.

Very Happy with this service. They have been doing a wonderful job cleaning my home. Red and Jean are a great team! They are honest, prompt, reliable, and willing to work with my work and personal schedule. They do whatever it is that I request them to do. The crew arrived during thier appointed time in their Dusting by Dyan t-shirts and went to work immediately. They asked if I had specific cleaning products I preferred to use or if I wanted them to use their own. All papers were stacked neatly for me to go through at my leisure. Everything was dusted under - not just dusted around. The mirrors were left streak free, the floors were streak free. Everything looked just beautiful.
