The Grove Handyman is a family owned business with well over 50 years of experience. We control our quality of work by staying small. All jobs will be overseen or handled by company owner Roger Camacho.
"As an association board member, I was looking for a licensed and insured handyman, who would be available when we needed repairs for our 4 floor, 30-unit building. They needed to be responsible and experienced in a multitude of jobs. I also needed someone who would also be available for a unit owner if needed. I got calls asking what I needed to fix and what I wanted to pay but no one would come out to SEE what needed to be done. Roger Camacho of The Grove Handyman called me and came over to look over our building. He handed me copies of his certification and insurance then sent me a quote. He did his first job; replacing over 125 lightbulbs in the building, including the garage. He cleaned each fixture, fixed what needed fixing and replaced each bulb. Everyone noticed the difference! He was persistent in resolving a leaky window that flooded a unit. Not a drop through the rainy season. Roger communicates well and responds to calls. He is responsible, honest and a talented person when it comes to resolving problems. He redid my master bath, took out the old whirlpool tub, removed the old tile floor and replaced all the wallboard. From electrical to plumbing to retiling the tub area and the floor, I am in love with my new bathroom. I cannot express the trust and respect I have for his character and integrity. "1 day they didn't come because he couldn't rent a truck. 2 other half days he went to previous customers to fix issues. Both of them left to go to Home Depot at least 2 times every day and took over an hour lunches. They cut the tile in my house and my whole house filled with sand from tile including my A/C filter. My dining room table was filled with his tools the whole time. They kept lying to me about everything and the day after they left I found that my bathtub would not hold water because of the drain, the toilet didn't flush unless you held the handle down. The spout on the tub and the vanity is not caulked and caulk from the floor tile was smeared on the wall. I texted him the next day and he said he would come back this week, but he didn't. I contacted him several more times and he kept telling me next week. It has been over 2 months and he hasn't contacted me to fix all the problems."
