Mr. Walker and his team arrived and immediately got to work. Each person took a different room. Turned on all appliances, checked air conditioning system. Checked attic, electrical outlets doors, windows, every nook and cranny was checked. Inspection report was ready that evening. Each part of the condo was discussed in depth. Very thorough and helpful information. Buying a fixer upper and now we know just what the extent of the repairs will be.

Ron and his team arrived 20 minutes early and was already working on the exterior when I arrived at the home. He encouraged both my wife and I to ask questions and explained everything to us thoroughly. Ron and his team completed the inspection in just over 2 hours and told me I would have his report that night and the mold test report the following day. I received the email link for the report early that evening and the mold report by noon the following day. My wife an I are extremely happy with the service that Ron and his team provided.

My overall rating for this company would be a 10 on a 1-10 (10 being the highest) scale. I called and requested a home inspection on short notice (I called a Friday and I needed the inspection for Monday) and they were great about being able to schedule the inspection within such a small window of opportunity for me. They arrived on time for the home inspection. They were also very efficient as they work in a group and were able to finish the inspection within a short time. I was able to walk along with them throughout the inspection and get feedback to any questions or concerns I had about the home. They will give you their professional opinion as to areas of the home that may/may not be of concern. In my case, replacing multiple broken roof tiles, possibly having to replace the A/C in the near future and any electrical/safety issues. This company is a family owned business and very trustworthy. I highly recommend them for your home inspection.

At first I was happy and trusted them, but as soon as I actually started living there, I found they missed a lot of Big stuff, it ended up costing me over 30K of repairs to the house. For what I heard The actual owner of the business is really good, but I got his son, and he is not good, so, if you want to use them I would SPECIFICALLY ask for the father.

Overall was great. We had a few specialists come in to further inspect some of the items Ron flagged. We shared the inspection report with them and even THEY were impressed at how thorough his report was. Bottom line, Ron does great work. USE HIM!

I chose Ron Walker because of his experience in the field as a contractor as well as an inspector. Ron responded promptly to my inquiries through email and phone, both before and after. His description of what I should expect regarding the scope of his inspection and responses to any questions I had about his findings, were all clear. Quoted prices were competitive. The step by step approach to reports and costs could save me money if I needed to walk away from the purchase due to the findings. He and his team ( family-run business) arrived early for the inspection. A termite company was also included for their part. ( Separate report and pictures) He took the time to listen to my initial concerns and addressed all, but one during the process. I wanted to know if each major appliance had it's own line. He did not check this, however, he found that the electrical panels (main and sub) were dangerous (Federated Pacific) and that they were double wired. Therefore since I need to change out the panels and have the wiring addressed, I can make sure that my electrician has a line for each appliance. If he had not found this, I would have asked him to go back and get the information I needed, since that can be a big expense. His report was comprehensive with pictures and estimated costs to remediate each issue. I had a great concern about possible mold and Chinese Drywall and I was prepared to test for these, if Ron felt they were necessary. He did not. Based on his report I chose to continue with the purchase. As agreed, Ron then emailed me the mitigation report necessary for the insurance company, along with pictures. And, he will not charge me to update my mitigation report when I add hurricane shutters to the property, after I move in. The only shortcoming was that the 4 photos from the termite inspection, all taken from a distance. Without close-ups, I had know idea what I was supposed be be identifying. I tried calling the termite company but the owner speaks with a very heavy accent and it was quite difficult to understand his explanations. With the exception of this issue with the termite company, I would highly recommend Ron and his team.

He found structural discrepancies in the first house and water damage in the second; his reports also sighted other damaged areas and irregularities with the two properties. This saved me from purchasing expensive money pits.

Ron Walker promptly returned my phone call and set up an inspection date very quickly even though it was close to Christmas. Bryan Walker called on the day of the inspection to advise he was on the way to my home at the agreed appointment time. He performed a thorough Wind Mitigation inspection throughout the house. He spent plenty of time in the attic on a hot day to get all the photos and information needed to fill out the report. This company even went the extra step to assist me in going to the City building department to view the original Home Permit, since it was not available on line. After they had retrieved the additional information, they promptly e-mailed me the final report. The price was very fair for the work performed, and both Ron and Brian Walker were extremely professional and pleasant to deal with. I was very satisfied with the work performed and would highly recommend Walker Home Inspections for anyone that needs a home or wind mitigation inspection to be done.

The inspectors arrived early and spent a long time doing a thorough inspection. Very professional, knowledgable and gave good feedback. I would highly recommend them.

Quick and efficient response. Home and termite inspection were conducted in a proffesional manner. Soon after the inspection, I was provided with a detailed report on the current status of the home along with areas/issues that needed improvement or repair. I will deinitely use this company again.

We recently purchased a short sale that had been vacant for several months. The house was in disrepair but had a nice floorplan and a beautiful property. Walker inspections was recommended by a friend who had used the company in the past. Walker was very professional throughout the process, beginning with the first phone call. Calls were answered promptly and appointment times were punctual (actually arrived a little early!) 3 Walker inspectors came to perform the inspection. Every inch of the property was examined and tested. The inspection took approximately 3 hours. It was extremely thorough. I was initially concerned that they did not bring a separate roofing contractor for the roof inspection, however, Walker spent a lot of time inspecting the roof and the attic. The areas of concern were photographed and well reported. They didn't miss a thing (according to the roofer that we hired for the repairs). We received our inspection report within 48 hours. It was detailed, easy to read, and accessible online which made it very easy to share with our lender, realtor... The report included repair/replacement costs which helped us re-negotiate with the bank for a lower price on the home. In the end, we ended up paying $20,000 less than our accepted contract price! We didn't know that we could re-negotiate with the bank on a short sale after the contract was accepted. Mr. Walker is the one who suggested we try. We were pleasantly surprised when the bank agreed. Following the closing, we requested a wind mitigation report. The information was gathered on the day of the inspection to be used in the event we needed it. The report was received the same day we ordered it. Now that we are having work done on the house, we are finding the repair costs have been very close to the estimates on the report. Although we were hoping the repair costs would be lower than estimated, they have been right on. This has given us an easy way to budget for our project. I would highly recommend Walker. They are dependable, professional and a pleasure to work with. Their price was a little higher than the other company that we called. We choose Walker because they were highly recommended and when I called for the appointment, they were more professional. Choosing them turned out to be the best decision we made during our house buying process. We have the peace of mind that our home was properly inspected and we did not move into a house with hidden surprises. The savings on the price of the home was the icing on the cake!

I can't say enough good things about Ron Walker Inspections!! I've had other home inspections so I do know what a bad home inspection and inspector is. First, I was early and they were there already, earlier than me. With my busy schedule there's nothing more I appreciate than punctuality. Ron and his team -- Brian and Orlando (the termite inspector) were just awesome. They were thorough, professional and congenial. They answered all my questions throughout (I'm not the most knowledgeable about home stuff - my first house). The report they provided was fabulous. It was very thorough and included more pictures, descriptions, and explanations than I could have asked for. They provided references for more information pertaining to any items they wrote up. I had some follow up questions for Ron and he has been very responsive and has offered to speak to my dad for a telephone consult for any questions he has that I can't answer (not knowing homes the way they do). Ron is also licensed to perform the insurance risk inspection. He conducts that inspection and takes pictures for that and will provide that if you will be moving forward with the purchase of your home. This service will save me time and money as I won't have to take more time off work to do a separate inspection for that. Don't shop around or compare reviews for any other home inspector -- Ron Walker Inspections is the way to go!

rWe had just gotten an executed contract and wanted to get moving on the inspection process quickly. We asked around the neighborhood and a friend (who has been looking for a home for a while and has had numerous inspections) highly recommended Ron Walker Inspections. I contacted Ron with a sense of urgency in my voice. Ron was able to rearange his schedule to come out the day I requested! By that evening I had a full in depth report including pictures and price estimates for the home we are looking to purchase. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and I received nothing but professional and courteous service from the Ron Walker team.

Brian showed up exactly on time. He did the inspection thoroughly. His report was ready when promised and I feel the fee was fair for the service. It was a pleasant experience.

All my realtor did was give me a couple names from the yellow pages. One of which was a franchise, both of them were overpriced and clearly had no real knowledge base. I called Ron based on my Attorney's suggestion. We had 2 days to do this, he did it the same day I called, just a terrific experience. Thorough, top quality reports, and he continued to respond to follow on questions which was really helpful. Once I had moved forward on the purchase he then did the next two reports that are required for insurance, once again, efficient, didn't bill me till they were done and didn't start till he knew I needed them. They are complex "insurance company" reports, he did a great job, and even more important, he explained some things and answered my questions rather than just tell me not to worry, or that the report would be fine etc... I am so pleased with his whole approach. This area of home inspection is full of people ranging from incompetent to downright crooks. I know there are some certifications, but it still feels a little like the wild west. I cannot say enough about the way Ron's services stood out head and shoulders over not just people I talked to know, but even firms I have used in the past where I thought the firm was pretty good.

Ron Walker and his assistant were great since day 1 when we spoke on the phone. Ron was very informative and knowledgeable. They were there on time and were very pleasant. All of the issues were pointed out to us and they answeredall of our questions. The report was provided on the next businees day and was very thorough. The pictures taken were great and the format was well executed.

It was one of the most professional companies I have ever dealt with. All of my questions were answered in great detail and everything was clearly explained and they were the nicest people.

In addition to the home inspection they also performed a mold inspection due to some water damage in the house. They took the time to explain the lab findings and what to expect. My overall experience is favorable.
