They did an excellent job, this was most detailed inspection I have ever received, they showed up on time, they weren't afraid to confront any issues that came up, I.E. critters and roof leaks and provided an extremely detailed report with photos.

I couldn't have been more pleased with every aspect of this service. I had lost touch with the previous inspector I had used and went on Angie's List to see if I could find someone. Their ratings were excellent so I called. Ron Walker responded to me shortly and did a quick review of the services they provide. I gave him the address of the property which he researched on line and emailed me a proposal the same day. He also sent a link to a report they had done on another property as an example of what I would receive. The report was very thorough and impressive with tons of photos to illustrate each item. I agreed to the price (which I thought was fair considering the size of the property at over 3000 sq ft and with three complete units. I was concerned about scheduling since this had to be coordinated with myself, two real estate agents and 3 tenants! Ron made this easy by giving me his openings for the next few days and updating me as those were booked by other clients! We were able to schedule it only a few days later on the following Monday. I arrived at the property about 10 minutes early only to find that the team had arrived sometime before and already begun the inspection. Ron and two other assistants were literally all over the property, inside and out. They were very courteous and considerate of the tenants in each unit and put them at ease immediately. This allowed me to speak to them freely and get input about what might be needed in the way of repairs and assure them I would be taking care of issues as soon as the sale closed. I was even able to exchange contact information with each of them. The inspection continued for nearly 3 hours and my agent, who is very knowledgeable about construction and building code, was also quite impressed with the thoroughness of the work. We chatted briefly about some of the issues and Ron told me the report would be available online within 24 hours. Sure enough, the report was there early the following day and was just as exhaustive and detailed as the sample I had seen online. Every issue was individually addressed with defect, repair needed and estimated cost and also accompanied by photos. Although this property had been well-maintained by conventional standards, Ron's inspection turned up a number of issues from minor (such as changing outlets in wet areas to GFCI) to major (the roof was very near the end of its useful life and warranted replacement). I submitted my concerns to the seller as was able to negotiate a $15,000.00 price reduction! The savings will be very important because many of these items will need to be corrected almost immediately in order to procure and maintain hazard and windstorm insurance, and without Walker Inspections' diligence, I would have had to pay these out of my own funds. I most sincerely recommend Ron Walker and his team to any buyer. In the future I will not purchase a property without Walker Inspections on my team!

The Ron Walker Inspection team arrived prior to the scheduled time and began inspecting the home immediately. They conducted a meticulous inspection of the home both inside and out. The Walker team approached each area of the home in the same methodical manner to ensure that they would not overlook any detail. After they were done with their inspection, they provided a brief summary and a more detailed report later that evening. No major issues were found in the home but they did uncover some areas needing attention to prevent issues in the near future. I will continue to use this company because of their professionalism and attention to detail. Another job well done.

It went very well and the professionalism and the details were very good. They explained everything and made sure that what they found was diclosed to me. It was more than one person inspecting the house, and that made me feel much more comfortable, because each person had a task and they did it without rush and evaluated their positions in the home closely.

The team from Ron Walker inspections arrived at the home on time and began working immediately. As always, Ron and his team conducted a thorough inspection and uncovered a minor mold concern within the home. Although this was not part of the original inspection, Ron notified me of the concern and I added the mold/air quality inspection for a more complete process. Thanks to Ron's care and detail with his inspections, he uncovered something which the homeowner never disclosed and could have been expensive. The following day I received a detailed home inspection report with that contained photos all of the areas inspected, areas of concern, along with the estimates to fix each concern. I have used this company before and will continue to do so because of the detailed, prompt and professional service that they provide.

Ron's Team ( Brother and nephew I think ) came out to inspect a home I was purchasing that was built in the 90's. While they pointed out many important things that I would've have been clueless too, the most important was identifying that the had multiple leaks and needed immediate repair, but really needed to replaced sooner than later. We didn't walk away from the home as we really liked the place and location, but were able to negotiate all of our closing costs being paid by the seller! All things considered and how fast the houses are on and off the market right now in south florida, it was an acceptable deal. I don't think that negotiation would have been possible without the report because the sellers did not occupy the home and probably didn't realize the severity of the roof's condition. Not to discount everything else they pointed out, that was just the most important. A lot of the other stuff are minor fixes here and there that I can mostly do on my own as of now, but could cause big problems in the future. Most important thing is I felt that I bought the place knowing exactly what I was getting into. If we didn't get the inspection I would have got smacked over the head with surprises (expensive ones!)

For our property inspection we contacted Ron Walker inspections for a single family house.Ron was very professional and was able to schedule the inspection in two days. The house is a bit over 2000 sq feet with a pool and built in mid sixties in Hollywood Hills fl.The inspectors were very courteous,professional,and detailed. They walked me thru items that could be issues with insurance and stuff I could fix later on.they also handled the bug inspection and the pool inspection. Ron was also very helpful over the phone explaining what wind mitigation items to fix as we are first time home buyers in Florida. The report is very detailed with lots of pics,and I know I won't be in any surprises over the on condition of our new home. Ron was very knowledgeable about things needing fixing and giving us a good idea of what it would cost to fix things. This was especially a great service in the report. I was very satisfied with my overall experience for this part of the home buying process and would use them again. Ron and his guys gave a warm personal touch to this process.

Ron's team did an outstanding job. They arrived early and were very thorough. The written report was delivered fast and it contained a comprehensive description of all inspected areas and systems of the condo. They discovered a major problem with the previous remodeling work and several minor quality issues. The team provided rough estimates for all listed deficiencieis. We decided not to purchase the condo thanks to Ron's team alerting us to several potential costs. We plan to use them again for our next condo offer and highly recommend their services to others. They truly deliver what they promise!!!

No pre-owned home is perfect. The job of an inspector is to go over the house with a fine-toothed comb and document ALL deficiencies. Just because it's deficient doesn't mean it's a deal breaker. There will always be something to fix. They did their job. Upon arrival, they had already pulled permits from the city of Davie for all previous repairs/renovations. They discussed the areas that should be addressed, NEEDED to be addressed and they pointed out areas that could be addressed at some point. They were informative about wind mitigation factors, documented each window/door that was hurricane rated and described the strapping on the roof. The cost included the actual wind-mitigation inspection, but will only charge the $75.00 fee if we require the actual report at some later time. The home inspection report was available within 12 hours of the inspection. I have a "B" on price only because they are a little higher than some others out there. Don't let that deter you - you get what you pay for. They are not the cheapest inspection choice, but they perform a thorough service for the price, so I'm willing to pay a little extra for that piece of mind As with the "F" review they received in May, I had a similar experience with them. They did show me that the water heater was from 1997 and was overheating the water. They gave me a probable cause of the heating elements overheating and that based on it's age, it may need to be replaced in the near future. That's a reasonable assessment and exactly the kind of information I want in an inspection. Will I walk away from a home because of it? NO. Will I set aside some money for it, or purchase a home warranty? Maybe. It's called planning. Will a seller's agent like these guys? Maybe not!!!

He and associate arrived on a Saturday early to review the systems and the condition of the condo Their thorough review revealed several areas for repairs which had not been obvious in the first viewing of the condo. The guys were very helpful at identifying fixable and non-fixable items with cost estimates on the fixable items. The photos covered the exact locations of electrical outlets which needed grounding or replacement--all in all their thoroughness and details helped make my negotiations easier to document for the seller's agent. If this deal doesn't work out...I will definitely call Ron and crew to inspect my next option before purchasing.

He even managed to get the electricity turned on for the inspection. Provided us with a very detailed report with pictures. We couldn't be happier with the experience. We will use him for the 4 point inspection required by insurance.

This was the second time in about 1 week that I had called Ron Walker Property Inspections because we were interested in two homes within the same neighborhood. In both cases, Ron and his crew (brother, son) were punctual and thorough, and provided us with a quick turnaround on the property report which was very comprehensive, including pictures, ratings on the state of the items they noted, and approximate estimates of cost to repair. The fact that the first home he inspected was vastly inferior in its condition than was the second home was something that Ron Walker made me aware of and helped me make a smarter purchase (the second home). I'm also happy to say that his company doesn't try to sugar-coat the report on the home, something that when compared to a property inspection I had done a while ago in another state seemed to have been an issue. Ron Walker Property Inspection is highly recommended in my opinion.

I called them up with a tight deadline and they were very accommodating with our complex scheduling requests. We were very happy with the inspection that Bryan and Don performed. They are very professional, and answered all of my many questions. They provided the report the following morning, less than 1 business day later. The report was very comprehensive and its format was very easy to read through and understand. I had some questions and I was able to call them up and they answered all of them... and I emailed them some questions as well and they got right back to me with the answers again. This is actually the second time I've used them, the first time I used them was in Feb 2012, Bryan and Ron were there, I had that same positive experience the first time with them, which is why I called them up again the next time I needed an inspection done.

Ron Walker along with his brother and son did an amazing job! There is so many good things to say about their service so here goes. They are flexible and will get in there as soon as you need them. They are professional in their different trades so they can give you detailed explanations (in layman's term) if you have questions during the inspection. They utilize gadgets that other inspectors don't even have and this really helped us during our negotiation process. And the best part is that they were fair in their pricing if not better than other inspectors that we have used in the past. We buy and rent properties so we will definitely use Ron and his services again!

We recommended him as we are Realtors and use Angie's List often to recommend contractors for our clients. As we had a listing in a remote area from where we work, we recommended the first 4 inspectors with good reviews in Angie's List.. He was very thorough, but not very productive. He created doubt on the Buyer by exaggerating his findings and creating a story that is just not there. An inspector is not an expert plumber, electrician, structural Engineer, Roof Contractor, AC, or Mold Expert. Usually they have a general knowledge but not an expert on particular disciplines of home construction. They should limit the scope to their findings and not create maybe scenarios that might or might not be. And if at the end they summarize and prioritize their findings it will be great. The idea is to educate the Buyer on what they are getting into, without scaring them unnecessarily The final stroke came when he told the Buyers the Water Heater and AC are at the end of their life, just because of statistics, even though he did not find anything wrong with them that would indicate they are about to break. Imagine a Buyer putting a down payment, getting into a large loan and having the inspector tell them they might have to spend $5,000 any time. That is what Ron did for my Buyer. Give our experience with Ron l, we only will recommend him if you want to get out of contract, otherwise go to the next inspector inspector in Angie's List.

The complete home inspection detected some issues that needed to be addressed now and in the near future. Due to the additional cost to us as purchasers we were able to re-negotiate the purchase price to correct these issues. Ron Walker's inspection team were very professional and inspected the property as if they were to purchase it themselves. Both my husband and myself believe were it not for their thorough inspection these problems would have gone undetected to after we purchased the property.

Mr. Walker responded to the location and was early. He was there with two other employees, all dressed in polo shirts with the company's logo, very professional. Mr. Walker and his crew inspected the home from top to bottom, inside and out, every crack and crevis, attic and roof and documented every issue with colored pictures. Mr. Walker was very personable explaining every thing that he and his crew were doing as they went along. He and his crew answered every question my wife or I had with detailed informative answers. The report was completed that night with colored pictures, a detailed description of the issue and an estimated cost to fix it. It was the most detailed, professional home inspection report I have seen, and this is my fourth one. I had a question three days after the report and when I called, Mr. Walker himself answered the phone, remembered me and the house and patientley answered all my questions. I would reccomend Mr. Walker's company to anyone looking for a home inspection from an honest, trustworthy, professional fair priced company.

Ron gave me a quote based on my needs, he understood that one of the units had a small build-out and the other was a shell, he quoted accordingly and got my business. We then setup a time to meet and he showed up a little early, but went straight to work inspecting the outside of the building, the room, the street and so forth. By the time I got there, he had taken all his exterior pictures, advised me on what he found and then began looking inside the two units. Ron and his staff were very thorough inspecting the units including all the plumbing, electric, a/c, cielings, lighting and so forth. Ron was very friendly, professional and curteous with me. His son who works with him is really up-to-par with the industry and technology. I was very impressed with both of them and would recommend and use them every time. After the inspection, they wrote me an email with a link to an online report of what they found, which had a detail list of items, pictures and approximate repair costs. I was able to use this report to get the seller of the units to repair the items and/or adjust the buying price.

I called Ron and scheduled the inspection for the next day. They were there at the time they said they'd arrive (I was running a little behind), so they went back over their findings with me and explained what I needed to know. At the end they offered a wind Mitigation report for $75 which I later asked for. Over all for $370 (Inspection plus mitigation), it is a good value. I received the report via email that night.
