My husband and I are purchasing a home in South Florida from out of state and were under a time crunch as our offer was accepted and the inspection needed to be done in about 10 days. We called around and couldn't get many of the highly rated inspectors to come out within the week time period we had. Ron said he was able to and after reading all the good reviews, I figured why not . We are extremely pleased with his timeliness of the report but also with the quality and detail of the inspection! It was great. He even was able to speak with my brother (who does real estate out in California) about questions we had and potential repairs we might have to do with the roof. We would totally recommend him to friends/family. He was maybe 50-100 dollars higher than the other quotes , but given the quality of the work plus the repairs we were able to negotiate it was well worth the investment. Oh also since we were out of state we weren't able to go to the inspection, howver our realtor said he got up on the roof and everything (which she said most inspectors don't do as thourough a job...and we spoke on facetime right afterwards to answer any questions! :-)

This company was extremely professional in all ways. Like they advertise they are not the least expensive in the market but you get what you are paying for on an excellent service. Very highly recommended family business. They make your experience of buying a house a lot easier.

Ron was accessible and responsive in the days leading to our inspection. His team was early for our appointment, and worked diligently to perform a thorough job. Cost of service I quoted includes "wind mitigation" & "4 point inspection" which are required for insurance purposes. Would just recommend to members to mention the coupon he offers at the initiation of contact.

Ron and his team are amazing. They cost a little more than some of the cheap inspectors but they are worth every penny. They are detailed, answer questions quickly, and are professional and great at what they do. As a new time home buyer without much experience in "handy work", their detailed inspection report with cost estimates was invaluable. I supplied it to the seller and was able to get significant credit towards repairs!

Ron answered my questions during a telephone interview during my process of selecting an inspector. Once, I contacted Ron to schedule we were able to get a time within our narrow inspection window. The team of three arrived early to the property and performed the inspection over a span of about two hours. The termite inspection team of two arrived at the scheduled time. The significant items found during the inspection were discussed at the end. The report was available by early the next day. I chose Walker Inspections primarily because of the detailed report that documents everything they inspected, not just what is wrong/of concern, as well as the cost estimates. They also have a variety of modern tools, such as moisture meters and infrared camera, to aid them during the inspection process and physically visit the various spaces of the house, such as climbing on the roof. I also like the fact that I did not have to commit to the 4-point or wind mitigation reports, but can order afterwards. I cannot comment yet if anything was missed during the inspection since we have not occupied the house yet. Update: several weeks after the inspection, we purchased a wind mitigation report. The report was quickly delivered (electronically) and invoice could be paid online, too. Ron accommodated specific requests from our insurance underwriter.

Don't let cheaper quotes fool you. You get what you pay for. Ron Walker is higher in price than most of the competition but worth every penny. I own several commercial properties (and thus have some idea of what to look for in an inspector) in New York, this inspection was done for the purchase of a second home in Florida. With Ron you get three inspectors; him, his son and nephew. You don't get a paper with check lists, you get a report complete with pictures and cost estimates for repair just like the sample on his website. Ron more than made the cost of his fee with the credit I received based on his report from the seller for the work that needed to be done. When I needed to call Ron with a follow-up question two weeks after the inspection and just prior to the closing he remembered the house and the item I was questioning.

Ron is extremely professional and I really wanted to proceed with him for my new home inspection after talking to him on the phone. Unfortunately, his quoted price was the highest I received and I chose not to go with him.

The first property was rejected because of the thorough report that allowed us to cancel our offer. The second property inspection allowed us to get the Air Conditioning System replaced at the cost of the seller prior to closing.

They were fantastic! Ron came promptly with a team, they had all the equipment to do the job. They always answer the phone, unless they are on the roof of an inspection, Safety first! They gave me a detailed report with photos of all their findings. Ron doesn't just check off boxes, he captures all the issues and gives degrees of importance. They are the best and I will continue to hire them for any and all inspections. I am currently using them again for a commercial property purchase.

The service was great. The inspectors showed up earlier than the appointment and had already started the inspection process by the time I arrived. They were both very professional and answered any and all questions I had. I received the report the following day and have continued to assist me with questions even after the services were completed. "Ron Walker Property Inspections" is a family owned business and they really have a great thing going. The one word I would use to describe them is "meticulous." What more do you want in a home inspection? They provided a detailed report with attached photos. They described the issue as well as the estimated cost of repair. Furthermore, they conducted the wind inspection portion you will need for home insurance, but you don't pay for it unless you move forward on the purchase. We had a lot of questions after the inspection and they were extremely responsive. I highly recommend this company for your home inspection needs.

Ron and the team were on time and did a thorough inspection of the property. They climbed, prodded, giggled, and took pictures of everything. They answered all my questions and explained what they had found. By the next day I had a thorough report explaining everything they found with plenty of pictures. Brain Walker and his nephew showed up before our 9am appointment to begin the home inspection. They were both very professional and answered any question that my girl friend and I had. They were very through, with the inspection. They went up on the roof and in the attic. The inspection lasted about 2hrs. They also collected the information for wind mitigation report. Overall they were great and provided a wealth of information to assist us in determining if we wanted to move forward with the purchase of our home.

The only company that provided worker's compensation and liability documentation. Very courteous and professional.

They were excellent! Provided a comprehensive report that helped us in the closing of our house... They also explained all the details in case any "technicalities" were difficult to understand. They were very punctual and delivered the reports on time.

We hired Ron to inspect our newly constructed home so that the builder could fix anything that was wrong before we closed. He definitely found quite a few things that we would have overlooked. They arrived 15 minutes early and got right to work inspecting every nook and cranny. They took pictures, etc. After they had finished, they went over a few things with us and informed us that we would receive an email the next day detailing what they had found (with pictures). By 8AM that next morning, I had the email. Ron was friendly and professional - a rarity! He is competitively priced and we would definitely hire him again in the future.

I found Ron on Angie?s List. After checking the sample report on his website, I called the number to set up an inspection. Ron answered immediately and scheduled the job, sending me a confirmation email within the hour. The inspectors early on the day of the inspection; by the time I arrived they had completed the outside inspection. As they completed the rest of the inspection, the inspectors answered my many questions and gave me some great insights into the condition of the property. On the evening of the inspection I was emailed the completed report as promised. I called Ron the next day to discuss a few of the items on the report; Ron gave me what turned out to be good advice on next steps. The property in question was built in the early seventies and based on the inspection report needed several areas addressed if I was going to proceed with the purchase. I drafted a list of repairs and upgrades to send to the seller. I also sent the inspection report to the seller. The seller agreed to make all the requested repairs. When the seller completed the repairs I scheduled a re-inspection with Ron to confirm all was completed. Ron's team performed the re-inspection as planned, providing me feedback while they were on site that the repairs were completed as agreed. During the re-inspection they also prepared the 4-point inspection and wind mitigation survey for the property. Based on Ron's inspection and feedback, the seller of this property made repairs and upgrades to the property at a cost in excess of $7,000.00. In addition, the wind mitigation survey reduced the home owner's insurance rate by about 25%. I would recommend Ron Walker Property Inspections without reservation. I could not be happier with the service they provided and the results we achieved in getting this purchase completed.

I was under contract for a FSBO older house I was buying as-is and thus I needed a really detailed inspector. After researching and reading tons of reviews, I decided to call Ron to see his availability and cost for the service. We spoke on the phone and I gave him the address of the property. That night Ron emailed me a quote based on the conditions of the property, along with a link to a sample report. I went ahead and scheduled the inspection for three days after. The inspection was scheduled at 9 AM and they arrived promptly, actually about 15 minutes earlier. There were a total of two inspectors, one which was Ron's brother. They were both extremely professional and knowledgeable. They performed an exhaustive inspection of the house, covering piece by piece, and taking pictures of the problem areas. There was not a single section of the house they did not check, including climbing into the roof, attic, etc. I was able to follow them around and ask questions as I saw fit. Moreover, a few minutes arrived a partnering termite inspector. He checked different areas of the house and mentioned that there was significant amount of dry-wood termites and that I would receive a report later on the date. The complete inspection took about 2 hours and half and I was patiently explained everything and recommended possible solutions. At night I was emailed an extremely detailed report that included every picture that was taken, descriptions, and repair estimates. Everyone that saw the report, including the seller, was surprised with the level of detail. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future.

Ron and his team arrived early for my 3pm appointment, gained access, and started inspection ahead of schedule. His team was very thorough with the job and took his time to answer each and every question I asked in addition to giving me numerous pointers and suggestions. Despite the inspection finishing approximately at 5pm he was still able to produce my report late that same evening. The mold samples were sent out to a lab and I received those results as promised (can't rem. if it was next day or 2 days.) After committing to the moving forward with my purchase I requested the 4 point and Wind Mitigation report. those also were provided in a timely manner. I have called Ron several times after the inspection with certain questions and advice and he always takes his time to accommodate my call. This is exactly what I was looking for as I read reviews from multiple Inspectors/companies and is exactly what I service I received. Thanks Ron, I appreciate you and your team.

Ron did a through inspection and is aimed at Saving you the buyer money! It's a father and son team with a sepearte company doing the termite inspection. They all show up at the same time and the termite inspection was included in the cost. They also provided a wind mitigation report aimed at saving you thousand on home insurance for $75. Ron showed up at 9 am and took approimately 2 1/2 hours to do the whole inspectioin. They noticed areas of water leak in the roof and took LOTS of pictures. They also used a infared camera to detect areas of water intrusion in the formal living room. Their focus is to show areas of repair that need to be address in an effort to reduce the purchase price. A lot of inspection companies work with the realtors in an effort to get the sale of the home done and do not focus on reducing the price of the home. This is not true with Ron Walker inspections, they have the buyer's best interest at mind. For this I would HIGHLY recommend them as an inspection company. They ultimately saved us $5,000 off the purchase price. This is my 4th house and of all the home Inspection this was the best one!

Excellent home inspection! Inspectors were punctual and very thorough. The report was very detailed and we were able to use the report to show to other home professionals to get estimates for repairs and remodeling. We are satisfied customers, would definitely recommend!

I received a prompt response to my initial contact with Ron Walker Inspections - inspection scheduled for next morning. The men arrived early and began work immediately. They were polite,professional and thorough. Detailed inspection report was e-mailed that evening with photos showing areas of concern as well as repair estimates. Provided prompt, professional services and I would not hesitate to hire them again.

I actually arrived a half hour early as the property was close to work and I work overnights. When I arrived the crew from Ron Walker's was already on site and had been inspecting the exterior of the property for a good 30 minutes or so already. They were very polite and professional. We chatted for a few minutes here and there but they were still focused on getting the job done. Their report was very detailed and thorough from what I can see. They photographed everything, which obviously would be useful to locate and correct issues in the future, obviously. They also found issues that even the owner of the property was not aware of, one of which could have been very costly. While we did not end up with the property due to other unforeseen issues, I would not hesitate to use this company again. I am certain I will give them a call the next time I am close to purchasing.
