This is the AL should work, a job well done at a good price. Everything went great, from getting the estimate, to arranging a start date, to the the job itself. After the job was completed, a tech came out twice, both to inspect the work and then set the pool water to the proper chemical levels. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

Called one day, got a call back from the owner that afternoon. He explained what he thought he could do and what it would cost, and told me they would come to double check before starting work, but with the heat pump so that if it was the right option I would n't have to wait for another day. Turned out they could come the next day, and did so when they said they would. The installers were pleasant, guys, got right to work, and even disposed of oil buggy bushes that had go anyway for me. Pump was up and running in a few hours, and calibrated to work well. Exactly what I wanted. Owner called the next day to double check that I was happy with the work. Excellent customer service.

I got a good feeling when I spoke to Joe over the phone. He came down right away, and I appreciated his honesty about what I needed. He had great ideas that added both value to my house as well as beauty. While I received two other bids, one of which was a little less expensive, I know I chose right in the end because the job was breathtaking - and ahead of schedule and done right. He is the only company I know that answered phones on the weekend. Exceptional quality, exception service - highly recommend this company.

I contacted several contractors before choosing Discount Pool & Patio for the project. Joe, the owner, came out and was very experienced and knowledgable. The job was done in a timely manner, and the crew was professional and courteous. I was surprised that a job this large went so smoothly. My children and I continue to enjoy our new backyard. There was not any supervision or oversight of the jobs being done or between the different crews. Speed seemed their major concern. I had to initiate communication of problems to the owner who for the most part offered platitudes. Some of the issues: uneven and poorly cut pavers, chipped and stained coping which were made worse after they tried to repair them. After pool was complete there two major leaks do to failing to plug bottom drain properly and not installing skimmer correctly. I am surprised and disappointed after reading their reviews and meeting with the owner.

Joe was very good in educating us on the pool heater. He was honest and straight forward and helped us make the right decision. Overall, the service was great and the installation was clean, quick and high quality. Now we can finally enjoy our pool on those cold days without freezing ourselves. I would definitely recommend Discount Pool and Patio to anyone with a pool or spa!

The service has gone well. The resurfacing of the pool was a tremendous job. We had to wait a few weeks for them to come back out for the ladder. I understand the delay because it is their busy time of year. They have assured me they will be out today for the ladder. A crew of 8-10 came out and completed the job in about 2-3 hours. They had separate crews for different parts of the project. They also sub contracted with a pool maintenance company to make sure everything with the pool is right and the chemicals are balanced. They are very professional and efficient. They did excellent work.

The service was very good, the seller got in contact with us right away and gave us all the details upfront, service was finished before scheduled.

After using Discount Pool & Patio on a previous job this year for our pool, we were sure to call and get an estimate from the company for our driveway and walkway pavers. The owner, Joe, came out personally to design and provide an estimate for the job. Due to our previous positive experience with Joe and the company we decided not to pursue other estimates. The job started in a timely manner and was completed efficiently. The workers were fast and clean, truly artisans. When the job was complete Joe came out personally to inspect the finished product. We were very happy with the job; however, Joe noticed on his own that some of the pavers had a slight variation in color. As Joe is a true perfectionist, he insisted that those stones be replaced. We are extremely happy with our new driveway and walkway pavers; they make a great new addition to our home. We will use Joe again if we require a similar job and would definitely recommend him to family and friends. Joe and his company are responsible, reliable, and honorable. Thanks Joe!!

Always met the time frame quoted; phoned in advance if weather was bad and could not work; very diligent in keeping me informed as to the work being done. Demonstration was superb and did not try to oversell and kept us within our budget.

They did a really fine job! Our Broward County home is a second residence for us, and we have dealt with renovations and contractors in several parts of the state. This was one of our smoothest experiences ever with a contractor here in Florida. The office made it really easy to make our selection then kept us updated throughout all the steps of the process. The crew arrived within the scheduled window (a miracle here in FL), delivered exactly what we'd pictured and even cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.

Joe the owner was great to work with. We had some delays due to weather conditions but Joe and his foreman kept us well advised. There was additional work that needed to be done, which was unforeseen and Joe worked with us on the cost to our mutual satisfaction. I have already recommended a friend to use Discount Pool and Patio and have contracted with Joe to put pavers on my driveway and walkway. All in all, it was a pleasurable experience.

Very well. We wee very prudent looking for a pool company as the year before another pool company " fixed some hollow points". Joe gave us an honest assessment of the pool the work needed and encouraged us to get another opinion. Shortly after we were in contact with Natasha a true delight to work with. Discount pool & patio had the best price they did spectacular work with our pool, deck and porch.

They did a magnificent job. I am thrilled with the results. I now am proud to show off the patio and pool area. They were fast and completed the job in less than a week. I am particularly happy with the tile work they did, including the mural they installed in the bottom of the pool. The installer is an artist. Does beautiful work. Trust was a key factor and between our meetings and his A+ rating on the BBB, we knew this was the right choice.. Joe was patient and accommodating and seemed to be priced right . Communication was good and overall job was done right and on time. Joe worked well with our other contractor and overall was a pleasant experience. As with any sizable job, a hiccup here or there may occur and Joe and Natasha (office staff) were pleasantly responsive and immediately addressed any issues and resolved. Joe introduced new ideas and products to our project that enhanced the overall result. I would use Joe/Discount Pool again.

After reviewing prices from three different companies, we decided to go with Joe and Discount Pool and Patio.They came out and did the work in about a week after I signed the contract.The job included many areas of my backyard to be re-done. My wife and I felt their work was exceptional. They were knowledgable and efficient daily. We both were very happy with the outcome and would use them again on out next home should that happen. Joe and his team of contractors did a FANTASTIC job for us. Joe really worked with us during the proposal and quoting process. His team worked with our own initial design and brought creative ideas to address the steps leading to our dock. Even after running into the usual obstacles of home improvement of unplanned added repairs and required upgrades, he worked with us on the costs. Here is something you don't see every day with a contractor. When his pool group recognized some flaws in the initial pool resurfacing, they voluntarily resurfaced the pool once more without a blink of an eye and at no additional cost. Joe was always available for us for questions and project phase scheduling. We would gladly recommend Discount Pool & Patio.

The first time I met Joe, I was very impressed by the amount of time he took to talk to me and really listen to what I was wanting with my pool. He showed me different things I could do with my pool and brought me lovely samples of different mediums that we could use. He was so professional. They showed up when they said they would, were very courteous. The finished when they said they would and made sure all the I's were dotted and T's crossed. Every little detail was done.If I wanted something changed, Joe was right there to help me it. I couldn't ask for a more beautiful pool.

I had started working with Joe at least a year in advance of any work being done. I am extremely picky, and wanted everything to be perfect. He was very patient with me and he understood every thing that I was trying to accomplish. I was very hesitant about all the steps, but was reassured over and over how it would look. I did my background checks on him and even spoke to people about their pools and the work. Everyone I spoke to loved him and his work. So I chose Discount Pool and Patio. They were on time, very nice, cleaned up after themselves (since we have a small dog) never left trash or garbage behind. Even though I watched every thing they did with scrutiny, I have never been so please with the results. Everyone raves about our pool and the patio is amazing! The p[rice was outstanding for everything that we needed. Most other places were at least 25% or higher. He delivers!

I just purchased a new house and needed to have the pool and pool area updated. Since the home was over 20 years old nothing had ever been done and it needed plenty of work. I went online and found Discount Pool and Patio and checked some of the online reviews. Since the reviews came back favorable, I decided to call. I was able to speak to Joe Wise, the Owner and Founder. We set an appointment for him to come out take a look. Joe showed up on time (a rarity when dealing with contractors in South Florida) and was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained many of the various options I had and did not try to "oversell" the project. Since this was the first pool I ever owned, I wasn't really sure what had to be done. I received an estimate for the work the next day and decided to move forward with the project. I went down to the showroom to select the tiles and pavers and was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. The selection was large so I had many choices within my estimated budget. Natasha Niehoff, the office manager, was very patient and took as much time as needed with my wife and I to make sure we were happy with our selections. Once the permits were pulled, the work began immediately. The Discount Pool staff showed up when scheduled and actually completed the work under budget and a day earlier than anticipated! I can't say enough about this company and the positive experience I had dealing with all the staff. Kudos to Joe and his team for making this a very pleasant experience. My guests always comment on the pool area when visiting and I have gladly passed on Joe's contact information to them if asked.

They're quick to respond and they do an excellent job. They were clean and let me know if I had any questions or issues to give them a call. The price was great too and the best I found.
