my best friend was using jaysen lima at the time for a huge renovation at her house and recommended him to me fo renovate my kitchen. I did not know he was a contractor and thought he was the person actually doing the work. but he came and I told him all I wanted was tall white cabinets/ 2 with glass windows. Mr. Lima told me was very easy to do and asked for $3000 down payment to pay for the cabinets. then within the week his crew took out my old cabinets and left in my garage. old cabinets stayed in my garage for 2 weeks and everytime he had excuse why could not be taken to dump still he asked me for additional $1250 to pay his people which I gave him.. finally he called to tell me the cabinets were installed. I went with my sister and realized they were 3 shades of grey and very small. I called him and he was shocked and angry and called the furnisher and told them he wanted white cabinets. then we asked him why the cabinets were not tall and he said had to do with my wall and could not be done. I said fine. then he called me a few days later to tell me the cabinets were done again. I go over nad the same grey cabinets are there. I called him angry and fed up and told him why before they installed he did not make sure thye were white. he had no answer then proceeded to tell me that he will spay paint them white. I told him no way and hung up. I waited a few days then told him to take htem out and he got angry and started insulting me telling me that wood is not white, that this is a small job for him and not a priority. then he disappeared. my best friend in the meantime fired him because he kept messing up at her house. and hers was a huge job in the $50,000. I had to pay someone to get the old cabinets out of my gagrage. I kept sending him text messages to refund me my money and he told me he gave me what I had asked for. I never heard form him and he kept the $4250 he stole form me.he is a wanna-be contractor who is incompetent and others should be warned. I had my kitchen done with TALL WHITE CABINETS ( Which mr. Lima said could not be done) with Home Depot at lower price and 2 years to pay. Let my nightmare with Mr. Lima and his company be a warning to u .
