I would highly recommend & definitely use D’Amico Custom Painting & Pressure Cleaning for any painting services you may need. Greg worked around my schedule & met me in the evening for an estimate. He is a friendly gentleman who takes pride in his work. He is easy to communicate with and was very helpful through the entire process. I now have a beautiful new baby blue home completed in two days! Professional, clean work & done on time💖

We hired Damico’s painting on two different occasions & both times they exceeded our expectations. First we did interior and they made sure to cover all furniture and floors when spraying our ceilings. Then when they did the walls they made sure to cover everything again as well as move appliances to paint behind them! We were extremely pleased with the communication and diligence to get the job done in a timely manor. A few months later we hired them again to do our exterior & once again were extremely pleased with the outcome of the job. We would definitely recommend using them. The owner Greg was very thorough with everything and made sure our expectations were met both times. 10/10

I can not express how satisfied i am with the great job and quality work we had done by D’Amico Painting. They painted inside and outside of my home and did amazing job. The owner Mr. D’Amico was very professional and represented us with his Painting License witch non of the other contractors did and explain everything to us. We are very happy with the job and we will recommend him to our family and friends.

First of all, this business is not an “accredited BBB business” as stated in their outgoing voicemail, which by the way you will probably hear because you will rarely get a live person when you call. The current BBB rating is F and not accredited. In addition, the BBB has cited this business for improper use of the BBB logo and name. We had used D’Amico several years ago for the exterior of our home. The job went well and without incident. We recommended D’Amico several times over the years and in June of 2017 decided to use them again for the exterior and interior of our home. The owner came to our home and we signed an agreement for both the exterior and interior. One of the items on the contract was that all of the interior moldings and doors would be painted in an oil based paint. The painting of the exterior went well and about a week later they started the inside. I might add that I had some questions about the interior portion of the job and tried to reach the owner regarding the questions I had….I almost always got the voicemail and had to call several times before getting a return call. At some point during the interior job the painter (who is a subcontractor) mentioned to us that there would be an extreme odor from the oil based paint being used for the moldings and doors. He suggested using a high gloss latex paint and said the end result would be the same without the odor. We thought it sounded reasonable so we agreed and the job continued. He evidently exchanged the paint at the paint supplier and never mentioned it to the owner. In retrospect, it is obvious that the subcontractor did not like using oil based paint because of the fumes, so that’s why he recommended the latex paint. The job was completed a few days later and we were satisfied. We had asked the painter to touch up a few items which he did. So overall the job went well. I called the owner and told him that the job was completed to our satisfaction and he could come over to pick up the balance due. Fast forward 7 months later: We noticed that the paint is peeling from 2 of the doors. This is when our relationship with this company went south. I called the owner and mentioned the problem to him and I also told him that there was a conversation with his painter regarding the substitution of the latex paint for the oil based paint on the moldings and doors. His response was unprofessional to say the least: He said, and I quote: “Why the*(expletive)* would you agree to that when we specifically discussed the oil based paint”. I told him that I didn’t recall any major discussion about that because there were many items discussed at the time the contract was signed. The owner said he was going to reprimand his subcontractor and would get back to me. A few days went by and I did not hear from the owner so I called him again. We were in the middle of the conversation when I realized that there was no one on the phone and I was talking to myself. I called back and got the voicemail. I tried several times on his cell and office line during the day and could not get him on the phone again. The office number went directly to a fax. So I decided to write a letter and fax it to him. Below is the text of the faxed letter: Regarding our conversation yesterday, at first I thought we were disconnected, but after not hearing back from you and not being able to reach you again, it became apparent that you simply hung up because you weren’t interested in the rest of the story I was relating to you. I know you are busy and don’t have as much free time as I do, but all you had to do is tell me you had to go and that would have been fine. I tried you back several times, left one message and then your voice mailbox was full so I couldn’t leave any more messages. Is this how an “accredited BBB business” operates?? I don’t think so. And this is not the first time I have not been able to reach you. That being said, let’s get to the issue at hand. It was your sub who caused the problem, not me. Initially, when we first spoke about this you asked me “why the “(expletive)” did I let him use the latex trim paint after we went over everything when the contract was written”. When you were here we spoke about a lot of things and I don’t recall a major discussion about the oil based paint. Nevertheless, turning it around on me is the not the solution. Having control over your people is. This was a typical case of a sub doing what he wants and not respecting you as a contractor. He told me that a special latex trim paint would be just as good and would not have an odor, he seemed like a straight up guy so I agreed. Bottom line, the job came out very nice inside and out. I am not asking you to come back and redo all the trim and doors, we really don’t want another disruption. I am not really worried about the moldings, there was crappy builders paint on them for 20 years without peeling. Most of the doors seem OK now but we will see. I would appreciate it if you would supply me with a gallon of the paint that was used so I can address the issue myself as needed. I don’t think that’s an unreasonable request being that the job was technically not done according to the terms of the contract. I have been referring you since the last job you did for me 10 years ago and I know that you got at least one job from those referrals. But right now I am disappointed in you and the way you are handling this. Greg, I expect a phone call from you ASAP. The fax went through and within minutes I received the following text message from him on my cell phone: ”Neil Greg first of all i cant believe you went behind my back made a deal with one of my painters and now you are calling me to fix the problem you and he made not only calling you have called like 15 times since yesterday call the person you made the deal with R***** (***) ***-**** Please do not call me again regarding this matter” I responded to his text as follows: I made a deal????...what are you talking about....that's how you perceive this... that I made a deal???.....R*****o caused this and I don't have a contract with him...if you would pick up your phone I wouldn't have to call you 15 times....don't get weird Greg...you should do the right thing and not twist the story to your advantage.....and that's what you do.....and then you abruptly hang up.....I am done with you.....you have to live with yourself....oh and by the way, I see your accredited BBB rating is now F unaccredited.....not surprised......I paid u 8 grand and could have gotten it done for 4 by hiring a sub....but we liked you the first time ...things change though....I don't need your gallon of paint....you need an attitude adjustment..... So the owner had the audacity to tell me to contact his painter/subcontractor and not to contact him anymore regarding this matter. He is not taking any responsibility or accountability for the action of his subcontractor. I don’t have a contract with the sub, I have a contract with D’Amico. A contractor is responsible for what his subcontractor says or does. Based on other reviews of this company, the owner will conveniently twist a situation and will try to put the customer at fault, and that’s exactly what’s happening here. Then, when customers give him a negative review he will attempt a rebuttal that will make the customer appear unreasonable. This is a trend with him. There is nothing unreasonable here…….all I asked for was a gallon of paint…..not a problem…..I will buy the paint myself and move on. I generally do not post such negative reviews because in most cases if I am dealing with a reasonable person an issue can be resolved. Also, after you sign a contract with him and give him a deposit he rarely picks up his phone and you have to call several times before you get a return call. BUYER BEWARE….YOU MAY GET A DECENT JOB BUT GOOD LUCK DEALING WITH THE OWNER IF THERE IS A PROBLEM.

Do not use D'amico Custom Painting and Pressure Cleaning for your painting needs. He isn't BBB accredited as he states on his VM, website, contract, and in person. His communication is poor, if he even responds at all. His work is subpar. And he won't honor his warranty stated in his contract. We have bubbles, peeling, and flaking on the exterior of our house that he painted in September of last year, caused by moisture from poor caulking and weatherproofing that was to be initially done per his contract. He had sent a Sherwin Williams rep to inspect and that was his conclusion. Now, Greg is now refusing to fix it even though his contract says he will. Definitely find someone else to do a better job!

Greg the owner and his crew were on time and let us know in advance how long they will take and when will they do it. The price was fair. We had 3 other vendors come out for quotes. The job was excellent he even provided a copy of the paint receipt to ensure we were satisfied with the paint quality. He also did exactly like stated in the contract. Caulking all walls and widows and protecting all windows. They use some chlorine to pressure clean. It did not kill any of our plants. Our neighbors have complemented us on the color of the house. Of note, he contracts with other vendors for INTERIOR house painting which we did not use.

We hired this company to paint both the interior and exterior of our home. He left one employee to paint the entire exterior. Slowly but surely he finished the job in approximately three days. He then went on to paint the interior of our home, common areas, kitchen, living room, family room, dinning room, etc. He had a helper to paint the baseboard otherwise the same gentleman worked alone. We used two colors in the interior. We were undecided about what color to use in our family room and asked Greg to go on to his next job and that we would let him know how we wanted to move forward. Further, we explained that we understood he could not stop in the middle of another job just to come over and paint three walls. We clearly stated we would be flexible. Greg was paid in full. My wife was out of town for the week following this agreement. A few days later Greg called, angry about how his worker had wasted two days waiting for us to make up our mind. I again reiterated that we were not sure about how to move forward and that he should go on to his next job until we contacted him. Two weeks later we reached out to Greg via text message stating that we wanted to move forward using one of the two colors we had already been working with. His response was at best bizarre. I have printed our text messages as I am preparing to contact the Florida State Attorney General. An example “Please just give me the color you want to use this is all very confusing to me a direct answer please”. Apparently he did not know nor did he keep any record of the paints he used in our home. We subsequently told him the specific color, number and brand, since then he has not responded. He has decided to take the money and run. In my world, when you take payment and refuse to do the work it's called fraud, theft. If anyone should still wants to consider using this company I suggest you check the address he puts in his contracts and insurance documentation. On google maps it appears to be some empty lot. Our family room was left in a shambles, with paint samples spattered on the wall and the furniture piled in the middle. We are hiring a handyman to finish the job. This is no longer about the cost of painting three walls, it's about the gall Greg has to act like he is and quot;confusedand quot;.

Although I did not get this company from Angie's List, they were highly recommended from a friend who had just used them to paint her house. I called and left a message. They quickly returned my call and made an appointment to come out and provide and estimate the following Saturday between 9 and 11 am. Unfortunately they never showed, nor did they call to say they weren't coming. There is no excuse for that.

We have used D'amicos in the three houses we have lived in over the last 20 years. It has always been an excellent experience all the way. Greg has always taken care of providing us with good estimates and has always provided us with very professional, responsible, and trustworthy workers/painters. He just completed the interior of my house and is currently completing the exterior. He proved patient and fair with us when we realized a couple of the colors we had chosen did not work well for us and had to repaint a couple of bedrooms again. He always communicates everything in detail before, during, and after the job. Pricing is fair, not the cheapest but the quality makes it worth it. He is using Porter Paints these days, used to be Sherwin Williams, not an issue. They also did drywall work on my living room recently, after I removed a big old wall mirror. Greg's brother was in charge of that and they did a very good job. His company has pressure washed our pavers (back and front driveway) as well as roof on multiple ocassions. I honestly would not take a chance to try a different company even if it was cheaper. For the interior, we paid about $6,000 (this excluded closets and a small powder room. Also not included is the garage (which they did when we moved to thehouse 12 years ago). For the exterior, he quoted us about $3,500 which includes the pressure washing of roof and all pavers front and back.

We've used D'Amico's Custom Painting for many years and have never had a problem. Greg personally inspects all the work and the work is always top quality and reasonably priced. His team is very professional. This last time we had him pressure clean and repaint our privacy wall and walkway, plus seal the driveway. The work was completed quickly and professionally. I definitely recommend D'Amico's for any painting or pressure cleaning job.

The owner himself came out when we called for an estimate. His estimate was very good. We got 4 additional estimates and decided to go with him. He was not the highest nor the lowest but he was on time, gave a written estimate and followed up with us, knowing we were getting other estimates. He could also start the job within the next couple of weeks. The workers were on time and cleaned up after themselves. They matched the paint colors exactly to the ones we gave them.
