Jason showed as scheduled. I explained the issue he saw the problem and fixed the issue quickly by replacing the spring. The work was done quickly, professionally and on schadule.

I scheduled an appointment very late into the night on Friday. First thing on Saturday I received a call from Jason. I explained my situation - essentially my door would only go up a few inches and in my effort to fix the upward force on my own, I completely got everything out of sync. Jason called a crew that was nearby at another location and within 40 minutes Derek and Chris were here; both were very polite and professional. They quickly identified and showed me the broken spring. They replaced both springs in an efficient manner. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure all my questions were answered. I highly recommend Tropical Doors - an honest and professional group of people responding to your immediate needs.

They were in and out very quickly. They also cleaned up and took away the old door. Their overall service was outstanding, cant say enough about them!!

He was very knowledgeable and very honest. We would highly recommend TROPICAL GARAGE DOORS to anyone. We had a large well known garage door company come out to check the door first and they tried to scare us into paying $600 and said that if we did not do the repairs they were suggesting that the door would break within one month. We then called Tropical Garage Doors for a second opinion and they were very honest and did the job that the door needed for around $100. Do yourself a favor and call them. We would certainly call Tropical Garage Doors again and recommend them to our family and friends.

Their price was the best. They were on time for the job and very friendly.

The service was great. They had put a wood frame on the outside of the garage door and some other guys wanted to charge me twice as much as Tropical was going to charge so I got a good deal. They noticed that the air conditioning beside my garage door had a problem so I called my in service provider and there was a problem. That was above and beyond.

The track was twisted, the guy actually hammered it out and put a new motor on it. It is so quiet, people sneak up on us now. We're very pleased. I thought the price was a little high, but not outrageous. They showed up when they said they were going to. He actually knew what he was doing, he didn't mess around. He assessed the situation and told me what it was going to cost and what it took to fix it. It was a great experience. I would call them back.

He charged me a very minimal charge. He was very nice. He didn't do anything. He would put a sticker on the door. If I needed work done, I can call him. He seemed very knowledgeable. He didn't seem like he was trying to make money out of me. He was very truthful. He gave me some tips for the garage door. I can't ask for more than that. He was more than reasonable.

I would recommend them . They were good, they were efficient, they did a nice job in installing the door and we were very happy about them.

It was perfect. I paid less than I had been previously quoted. They were on time. I didn't have to wait long for them to make the appointment. They were fast. They also fixed some other things on the garage door that were not on the list free of charge.

It was okay. One of my garage door springs broke and they advertised springs for $99. But then they came and replaced both springs and charged me $200 without making that repair clear to me. The work was fine and he did it quickly, but because he didn't disclose it when I asked him questions about it he goes, "I could have done just one door because the other one would have broke. You need to replace them both at once." But I still feel like that should be what they advertized, two springs at $99 or whatever. He was on the time span that he told me he would be in.

Excellent. I also had used them earlier in the year to replace my Mother's Garage Door. They are true professionals. They do what they say they will do and show up on time.

One of my tension cables snapped. The door sagged on that side, jammed, and broke off a roller. Jeff showed up less than two hours after I called for service, right on time. My garage door is not a common brand (Hormann) but Jeff was able to quickly repair the door including replacing the cable and all the rollers. He lubricated all the hardware and adjusted the opener. The door operates like brand new. I will definitely use this company in the future.

On the morning of service, Chris of Tropical Doors called to inform me he was running about 30 minutes a head of schedule and could be at my house early if that was ok with me. I was more than happy for him to start early, and I really appreciated him giving me a call. Chris arrived as we had discussed, first impression................. I liked the guy right at the start. Very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Since this would be my third door "adjustment", I had already tried two other door companies before joining Angies List, I was somewhat apprehensive. Before Chris and his helper began replacement of the rollers and adjustments, I explained to him that I had a "popping" noise every time I raised or lowered the garage door and that the previous door company replaced the springs but, I still had the noise. Right off the bat Chris asked "Did you just have your house painted?" Sure enough the paint had dried between the door panel seams. Chris applied a silicone between the panels, made the adjustments and replaced the rollers. Garage door now opens and closes without the least bit of noise. I will most certainly use Tropical Doors for my annual maintenance. They are honest, trustworthy, courteous ,punctual and their work is impeccable.

Called and gave notice when he would arrive, arrived on time, worked effeciently, gave advice if I was looking to change out my garage door opener, but no high pressure sales pitch. I would definitely use them again.

Not much to say about what the serviceman did to the garage door. I was very satisified with his work.

Jason was very cordial. He was honest to admit that he was not able to perform the service I had expected.

I was hoping my 15 year old garage door opener could be repaired but after trouble-shooting by Jeff from Tropical Doors it was determined that the main control board had been damaged by a power surge during a lightning storm. A control board for a unit this old was not available. Jeff installed a new Lift Master garage door opener at a fair price within an hour. I was impressed with his professionalism and honesty. I would most definitely recommend Tropical Doors to anyone needing garage door/opener work done.

Within hours, Jeff came by and quickly found the safety eyes were not functioning. He checked the wiring and sprayed the rollers and spring with silicone. I was so impressed by Jeff's professionalism, I want to remind Tropical Doors NEVER lose this guy! He personifies what Tropical Doors is all about.
