I called for service at 8 Am and a repair person arrived in less than 2 hours. He was very professional, addressed the issues that required repair, quoted a price and work was done efficiently. Tropical Doors was recommended to me and I will highly recommend them to others.

Joe arrived on time and assessed my garage door problem. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Was very up front with my options. He repaired the problem and was done in 45 minutes. Very refreshing to deal with a company who makes their customers the priority... No games. I recommend Tropical Doors Inc and will use them again if ever I need help with my garage door.

He called to confirm, called when he was on his way with ETA, took care of business, made sure everything was out of the way of any drips when he spray lubed the rollers and hinges. Did a quality job and I've already sent them more business by word of mouth.

Fantastic! Car was held hostage in the garage due to a broken spring. Called them and they responded within an hour. Replaced the spring and serviced the door rollers. Tech was very professional and completed the work in a timely manner. Great company!

I was referred to Tropical by my realtor after a spring broke in the house I bought last month. Not only was their quote lower than any of the other companies I called, it was very precise, not a range of prices, and no additional fees. It was not urgent since the door still worked but they were still able to come the next day. The tech called before he came which was at the beginning of the appointment window so I didn't have to wait around either, which was great. He not only replaced the springs, but lubricated the door for me too so it is quieter now. The price I paid was exactly what was quoted and I did not have to sit through any upsale pitch for stuff I didn't need either (which has happened with other companies I have used). I will definitely use Tropical again if I need any garage door work and will refer them confidently.

He called to confirm the exact time about 45 minutes into the 2 hour confirmed window from the office, promised and showed up in 15 minutes after that. He came in, looked at the spring, stated the price, and fixed it. It took about 20 minutes total, made sure the door worked fine and went on his way. Couldn't be happier.

They were very responsive and great communication skills. They showed up on time, and when the could get to the job earlier they called ahead of time to ask if that was ok. The value for the work was good. I will use them again for maint. or troubleshooting issues. Overall, I'm very satisfied. The only miss was they didn't realize that an outlet would be needed as the previous opener was hardwired. The provided a possible electrician who could help and I sch. the person to be at my location the next day. The electrician never called or showed up so I am assuming an urgent personal matter arose. I did follow back up with Tropical Doors to just provide feedback to them. This was in no way the fault of Tropical Doors and they even apologized. It just set me back a day on finding an electrician. Not the end of the world by any means; just an annoyance. Again, please with the performance of Tropical Doors and they are on the short list to call when repairs are needed.

I called at mid-day, and they offered to stop by just a couple hours later. Jason arrived jand got right to work. He was very professional and had the door back in action in under an hour. He explained exactly what he was doing and offered some great tips for keeping the door in good shape.

The garage door works quietly and smoothly now, and my remotes work too.

I called Tropical to make an appointment. They sent two service people out and they arrived an hour after I called. It took less than an hour to make the repair. They were very professional. They suggested things I could do to maintain the door. They did not try to sell me anything additional. I was very pleased with the fast service.

My garage door springs broke Friday morning, I called late Friday afternoon and they were able to get a technician out Saturday mid-day. Tech was knowledgeable and completed repair in a very timely manner. I would definitely use them again.

I called at 8:30am, and was informed that a service tech (Chris) would be here between 2-4pm. Chris was courteous upon arrival, and immediately addressed the problem. After a few minutes, he identified what needed to be done, and fixed same. No additional parts were required. Service tech was here for less than 30 mins. Job well done...

Services provided were top notch. It is a family run business from owner to installer. They treated me professionally and gave me a fair price. Cleaned up after themselves and left the garage just like they got it. Highly recommend Jason and the entire Tropical staff.

I called and they were able to come out the same day. Showed up when they said they would and completed the repair very quickly and fora fair price!

My tenant was having a problem with the garage doors. I checked Angies's List for repair men. I selected a company that was rated A. Precision Doors, came twice with 2 different repair men. All they did was frighten me and my tenant. Just by looking they decided that we needed to replace ALL the springs and the garage door opener! They would not try to balance, oil, repair the springs. They practically hung yellow tape around the garage condemning it! They were TERRIBLE, they were not repair men, just salesmen. Then I went back to Angie's List and called Tropical Doors, Inc. Enter Jeff, from Tropical Doors. Jeff looked at the problem, tightened the springs, balanced the doors and oiled all of the parts. The doors now work well. He ( as did the other men) said that our garage door opener was a bad model and that it should eventually be replaced. He gave us some suggestions for new door openers He did NOT tell us that the opener would blow up nor that the door would come crashing down on children or old people, or that my tenants would be trapped in the house in case of a hurricane! Jeff was polite, efficient and professional. I will definitely call Tropical Doors, Inc when the time comes to replace my garage door opener.
