+ -1 moreHired them to unstop a drain in my 79 year old father-in-laws home. They sent out John. He charged I believe $125 per line for a total of $459, and the next day the kitchen sink was still backing up. My wife called them and at first the guy that answered the phone said no problem they have a 30 day warranty and he would call John. A few minutes later he called back extremely rude and said there would be another $59 service charge claiming that John was never told about the sink. When asked why they wouldn't check all the lines he said " if you called about a broken window you wouldn't expect them to check all the windows.Tried to explain to tell him that John was told he got even ruder and said "you don't have to use us, get somebody else". This is the second time we had used Plumbing Masters and each time was John. Didn't like him the first time now with the other guy's attitude we'll never use them again. So yes we did get someone else. Rip-offs, talked to wife like a dog, and over charging.

+ -1 moreVery well done. Tom located a tricky leak in the hot water line in the area where the line passed through a sleeve in the foundation footer. Limited the excavation to two tiles and a small drywall cut-out in the closet. He had the leak found, concrete excavation, pipe replacement and concrete restoration all done in the estimated time. Tom is very careful to do only the smallest amount of rip-out required.

+ -1 moreHad a team of 3 re-plumb house with very little wall intrusion in a day (approx 6-7hrs). They worked very well both individually and as a team. After job completion, any issues found/created, were quickly dealt with a phone call and service. Very professional.
Description of Work: Slab/foundation leak, mid-80's built Titusville house. (suspect multiple old/inferior copper pipes cracked leaking to ground underneath slab). Could hear it with all water sources off and main on.Both hot+cold. (turned off hot at water heater and still heard it). Choices: Leak detect/isolate source and fix through slab. Or, re-plumb all lines with new pvc-c through attic.

+ -1 moreCalled Plumbing Masters for after hours emergency service on Saturday night. Our main water line connected to water meter had ruptured causing a water gusher from the buried water meter box. Kevin arrived within hour and replaced existing PVC water line with a new flexible line. Repairs took less than hours. Competent and courteous. I will use them again for future repairs.

+ -1 moreThe technician had to cut through a small section of the floor, jack-hammer through 4 inches of concrete foundation and dig down another 8 inches into the dirt. Once he accessed the pipe, he was able to remove the bad section and weld a new pipe in. He then re-cemented the concrete and left only the small section of floor tile missing. He was professional, knowledgeable and experienced. Considering the amount of cement he had to drill through, he vacuumed as he want and left the house clean. The cost was extremely reasonable considering the estimates I received from other companies and he accepted the Angie's List coupon.
Description of Work: We had a leak under our foundation. The tech came out same day, located the spot and did a full repair.

The major problems that I am having and suggested needed repairs to solve my problem. After giving him the ok to do the job. I went back in and checked my finances and found that I did not have the needed money at this time. I called Plumbing Masters and explained my problem. Their response was. That's ok they understood and to call them when I get the money. I was happy with their service and the service tech Paul Falk went out of his way to explane my problem and all of the options I had to solve them

+ -1 moreEverything went well with the water testing except for one hot water line that got plugged during the process of feeding it up thru some insulation and possibly with some wood chips from the new hole cut from the attic to feed the pipe down thru the wall. Kevin did a number of quick checks to access the blockage, and after 10 minutes, determined a new hot water line needed to be run to the laundry room sink. This was accomplished very quickly. Then all the bathroom and kitchen faucets were turned off and the entire system which was now fully pressurized with water and was checked for water drips / leaks. This time no surprises! Everything worked as planned. The cleanup was done quickly and thoroughly with a shop vacuum. There was no dust generated as the number of holes cut were minimal. They used drop clothes thru the living room and Master bedroom so as to not leave a trail of debris. Kevin and Bill worked straight thru lunch and did a very professional quality job. i plan to refer my neighbors to Plumbing Masters because apparently when our houses were constructed in 1985, the plumbers at the time were using copper tubing from Indonesia which apparently wasn't good enough for either the soil conditions or possibly the water.
Description of Work: Over the last three years I paid almost $ 1,800 to have three separate slab leaks repaired. All three earlier slab leak repairs were performed by Plumbing Masters. I was planning to hold off for a whole house re-pipe thru the attic until it got cooler. After the last slab leak which occurred this last May, I had three Angie's listed plumbers come out and provide estimates for when it got cooler to work in the attic. Every company I contacted said they send guys up in the attic everyday in the summer, but I personally didn't want to see anybody have to work in the attic while it was so hot. My goal of waiting for cooler weather wasn't meant to be. After returning home from a week's vacation on the evening of September 5, we discovered the slab was leaking in the garage. I called Plumbing Masters first thing Thursday morning and scheduled the project as soon as they could get there. They came to the house on the following Tuesday. Bill Boggs, the President of the company, previously provided me an assessment of how the project would go, how long it would take, and most importantly to me, how many places the drywall would have to be cut open. Plumbing Masters uses a flexible PEX pipe for the re-piping. Kevin and Bill showed up promptly and we walked thru the house and discussed what walls would need to be cut , what outside pipe bibs could stay where they were located, and the best approach for attaching replacement lines to the Washing machine supply box. I was pleasantly surprised that only one cut inside the house was required and only one cut in the garage. Three outside bibs were replaced within 8 inches of their original location. New ball valves were installed on the main inlet line as well as the line going into the hot water tank. They installed all new shut off valves as well as supply lines to the sinks. After the re-piping was complete, they first performed an pressure test before turning on the water. That went without a hitch. They then methodically went room to room in a sequence that was meant to purge all of the air out of the lines.

+ -1 moreThis is my third experience with Plumbing Masters, and I would not hesitate to call them again. Good work, reasonable prices, and friendly, professional service.
Description of Work: The master bathroom shower backed up, had 2" of standing water. I called Plumbing Masters at approximately 7:45 am and spoke with Brittany, I believe. Briefly explained the problem, asked when someone could come out, and told her I'd need the service tech to call 30 minutes prior to arrival. I have medical issues and need time to prepare. She told me someone would be out between 9:00 to 10:00 am. Tom, the service tech called me back within 30 minutes and said he'd be there by 9:00 am. He actually arrived about 8:45 am, got right to work. Tried "snaking" the drain. No luck. He then informed me that there were only two options. 1) Try a chemical drain opener (concentrated sulphuric acid) or 2) tear up the shower floor, replace the trap, and replace the shower pan, tile etc. Not a cheap fix for someone on a fixed income. I asked that he try the chemical. He then vacuumed the water out of the shower, went and got the chemical, and poured it in. He said it could take an hour or more, and that as long as it continued to bubble it was working. I told him if he needed to go on other calls, I'd keep an eye on the progress, and he could check back with me. By about noon the bubbling had stopped, and there was no sign of drainage. Not good. Tom came back about 4:00 pm and said he wanted to try the snake one more time. He worked at it for about 20 to 30 minutes, when I heard him shout, "We got it !" I was very relieved, as the thought of having to tear up and rebuild the shower was not something I wanted deal with. Tom worked extremely hard, charged a very fair price for the amount of time and effort he spent, and saved me at least $1,000.00 I'm very pleased with Plumbing Masters. Great job. Thank you Tom.

+ -1 moreAll of my sewer pipes were backed up. I was in a panic, because my entire house was flooding. The plumber didn't even come into the house, and told me I needed to empty my septic tank! I wasn't very happy about spending $100 for that. Then, I had to call another person to empty the septic tank. The plumbing Masters guy came out rather quickly, but he didn't do anything! Later on, I thought charging $100 to tell me I needed my septic tank cleaned was way too much. I will never use Plumbing Masters again.

Bill looked at my water heater and confirmed that the leak could not be repaired and that I did in fact need a new water heater. He gave me an estimate and said he be back the next morning. Bill showed up on time, as promised, and was very professional with the work and also very personable. Bill took the time to answer all my questions while continuing his work. I was pleased with the work done and the fact that he cleaned up after the water heater was replaced showed that he cared about his customers. The only way you knew he was there was the new water heater. The final bill was exactly as estimated. I would highly reccomend Plumbing Masters to my friends and neighbors. They will be the first ones I call if I need any other plumbing needs.
