I presented the technician with a coupon from the local HomeMag magazine for $20.00 off a spring repair. He acknowledged the coupon and advised that he did not need me to cut it out or anything, but when he completed the invoice he forgot to deduct the $20.00 ($65.00 for the service call and $175.00 for parts).
After he left, just as I realized that he had not deducted the coupon, he called back and apologized and stated that on Monday, he would get with the office people and they would credit the $20.00 back to my card. That was on 10/12/2013, it is now 10/18/13 and no charge back yet.
I called the office this morning and was transferred to "Brian" because he could "look it up". The phone just rang continuously. I have subsequently used the "Contact Provider" service via Angies List to request the charge back.
My only other issue that I have with this company is that they advertise that they take credit cards...they do but the technician writes down the cards number and info. and then calls it in to someone at the office that then "runs" it. Everyone's credit card numbers and assorted information is on the technician's invoice book and also written down somewhere at their office. When I asked about it, the tech. said that after they use up the books, they destroy them...that makes me kind of squeamish!
Also, the company uses the Angies List recommended logo on their print ads...from what I can see, I'm the first one to review them. I'm brand new to Angies List but I would think they would need to have some more reviews to earn that logo(??)
