Installation went as planned. It did take a full crew 1 day to install, but I didn't realize the amount of work for a proper installation. The home now looks like a proper Florida home.

This was our first experience with this company. The owner is very knowledgable. They replaced a motor in one of our rolldown hurricane shutters. A feature of the replaced motor was not operating but they returned in timely fashion to correct the problem at no additional cost. We would highly recommend this company without reservation. They stand behind their work and honor their word.

Very nice man, actually owner of the company came and brought samples of materials with him, measured windows and gave us an estimate that was well under the previous company's estimate. Previous was over $5,300 for same materials and installation. He gave us a 6 week estimate of time for installation which was held up by another job but was completed in a timely manor and he was in constant touch by phone. Shutters look wonderful and are good construction, were installed quickly. We are very pleased with him, his staff and the quality of the product and the installation.

The owner showed up, measured the windows and gave me a price. He asks for a $200 deposit. He estimated it would be three weeks before he could install, but it was more like six weeks. However, I accepted this since it was the start of hurricane season and all the storm protection company are busy at this time. Two workers showed up and cut the panels and installed them in about 5 hrs. since these panels are made of reinforced plastic and the light come thru, I told them to leave them up, since they are bolted to the house.

Ok, first the quality is fine. At this time I don't have any reason to think that the shutters are not good shutters. Here is my concern: 1. The time estimated to get the shutters in was an extra 7-10 days. We were told 3-3.5 weeks and we were went almost 5 weeks before the installation started. This might not seem like a big deal however, we were buying these in Hurricane season and every week matters. I like to have people hit the date they say they are going to hit. 2. Install took from Wednesday to the following Tuesday. We were told 2 days for install. They had to stop our install and work on another job.??? 3. Clean up - First to be fair we had a person working on the pool at the same time and they did not help with the mess. The guys left on Thursday and did not clean their mess up. I had to go out and power wash the deck due to the metal shavings and concrete dust they left. We called Mike and he apologized and said he would have his guys fix it when they returned on Monday. I went ahead and did it myself. So, they continued to work the next week and did not clean up after themselves again. My wife called him and he told her they were done and I had to call him back and explain how disappointed I was in the clean up. He said he would have someone come the next morning. This DID NOT happen and I power washed the deck again. 4. Electrician - The guy he used was excellent! "Chris" form Royal Oak Electric! Great job! 5. I talked to one of his guys after the install was done and he told me that the pool guy had created the mess. The problem with that was I had cleaned up the pool guys mess and told him that he had been at the house installing shutters three additional times after I had cleaned up from all of them. Lastly, I don't want to harm anyones business and I take these reviews very seriously....I don't do many. However, this was all about the details and cleaning up after the job. The price was competitive however, we had to call Mike almost everyday for an update. We did not see him at the site after we signed on to have the work done.

I got two or three bids and they weren't they cheapest. I liked their product and choose them for the work. The work went pretty smooth and they did a good job.

A very nice gentlemen who I dealt with for 1 week. He does have a seperate crew for installation and maintenance. I called for maintenance. After a day or two he did not get back with me. On a Thursday he stated that next Tuesday he could do the maintenance. I called Monday to make sure he would be coming. No one responded. That Tuesday morning I called at 9 oclock to ask if he was coming. He said that he did not get the night before till 9 o'clock. I asked if he was coming and he said no. He was not rude and polite. However, communication was poor.

I got a great response from Atlantic Storm Protection. He came to give an estimate and couldn't have been more professional or prepared. He's well versed and had great examples. He's really easy to work with and he listens, which is more than a lot of contractors do. So far I'm really, really happy. The quote he gave me was reasonable, for hurricane protection on a whole house. He showed me examples that were really nice. We ordered it, but we haven't had it installed yet. I'm very optimistic about his work. His responsiveness was very good.

There is nothing we can say to fault this company. They were excellent in every way. I believe this is a small local company with a dedicated, loyal and very professional staff. We met Mike, the owner, on his initial visit to us. His manner was very pleasant; he inspired our confidence. After giving us a thorough yet succinct understanding of the kind of shutters that are available, we were very comfortable going with his recommendations. The crew arrived at the time and on the date agreed. They went about their work quietly and everyone we met from Atlantic Storm Protection was pleasant and respectful. They did a beautiful job on the house - it looks entirely as promised. work was completed on time. We highly recommend this company and, should there ever be a need, we would not hesitate to select this company in the future.

Off to a slow start but after that went very well. And it was hurricane season. Shutters had to be lifted up the side of the building to the 7th floor...done very well shutters went in well and very professional; old shutters were removed and carried downstairs to the garage as a favor the crew was excellent--very careful --well organized---cleaned up after themselves very pleased....a beautiful product and excellent installation owner mike was very repsonsive to all calls and concerns highly recommend them

The complete process from start to finish was very easy and unintrusive. Cleaned up after themselves, hardly knew they were outside duriing the process

The owner showed up at appointed date and time. Provided us with samples of the shutters. Did all measurements. Provided a quote. All complete within ~1.5 hrs. A few days later he came back with a representative who would be manufacturuing a special type of shutter we ordered for several windows. Measure twice, cut once is one of their motto's. The completed products where ready within the agreed to timeframe. Installation date was set and the crew was there, on time and completed on time. This company ONLY uses their own employees; no subcontractors (which is a HUGE bonus after some issues we had been through with other companies). We couldn't have been more please with the overall product quality, installation process and professionalism.
