Frankly, I dreaded this whole process. We had an old wooden roof area connected to our screen enclosure that had a flat roof area we had already replaced twice while living in our house. We also had gutter issues as the original gutter had not been installed correctly and sagged in the middle. I found Advanced Aluminum here on Angie's List, I was impressed that they had done a project for This Old House. From the very first contact, I was impressed. The owner, Bill, is a details man. As a result, the details are all taken care of. I cannot express how beautiful the job turned out. Not only did they come up with a great plan for the covered part of our patio, they connected it seamlessly to our old roof-not an easy prospect with our 50 year old home. They also straightened out our roofline and installed a gutter that drains from the middle to each end, no sagging!! The screen enclosure is fitted into the eaves of my home perfectly with lots of nooks and crannies. It is a gorgeous job!! We were also provided with some great maintenance tips. Every worker from the company was prompt, polite and professional. You can see from the Before and After photos that this was an amazing job.

Everything went great, from the initial phone call with Paula, to our consultation with Ron Cody, to the installation of the screens. We received quotes from two other companies, that were roughly the same price, but what sold us was the professionalism, knowledge and friendliness of Paula and Ron. Ron provided us with a detailed quote with multiple options, as we only had three panels on the roof that were damaged by debris. We decided to have the entire roof rescreened since the screen was so old and oxidized. The installers were equally as professional and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy customers! Indeed we are and would not hesitate to recommend Advanced Aluminum for pool rescreening. Great job!

No complaints. Estimator arrived on time and gave a cool professional estimate. We insisted upon a non- standard 42-inch wide door which added only few days to completing the order. In hindsight I may have pressed for a more substantial, heavier, door and frame, but even now, I do not know if such was available. Still, the arrangement is all we wanted ; a well made door and screen panels with which we can keep out the no-see-umps and allow ventilation of our house. The workmen were courteous and professional. No complaints and we'd recommend them to friends.

Arrived on time to give an estimate. Returned on schedule and repaired the panel in a timely manner.

We selected this company because we had used them before; 5 or 6 years ago we had them install screen walls on our porch that wraps-around three sides of our house and we were satisfied with their price and workmanship. This time there were some issues with the installation, however they were addressed quickly and professionally, and to our satisfaction. We would use this company again.

I was not happy with this persons approach to just giving me an estimate to replace 4 screen panels above our pool. Men take one look and see a woman and think we are DUMB. I had already received 2 other bids to replace these panels that were quite a bit lower. The other contractors were also from Angie's List. I understand they want to drum up business but with me you DO NOT think you can come to my house and try to get business by saying we need redo our entire porch with an implication it was shabby. Sorry but I would not recommend this Company to anyone.

When I called for an estimate I got a very fast response and a quote right on the spot. I set up a date for it to be done and they were here right on time. Very courteous, professional and efficient workers. They had the drawing that the salesman made so they went right to work and didn't stop until they were done. The materials they used were high quality and the installation was great. It looks great and adds value to my home and is now a much more usable space.

Received estimate in a timely manner. Took more than a month to get job done because the company was backed up with jobs. Did a great job and hauled away all old parts/screening. Came on time and repair done in expected amount of time.

They came and power washed the entire area,then the next day they came to recreen then. They were prompt and professional and took care of problems w/o additional costs. We were quite pleased with the new screen which has a one year guarantee....

I did have to wait over a week to get on their work schedule. Was told the rain had put them behind schedule which I totally understood. Upon arrival it was apparent the two gentlemen were very knowledgeable and knew exactly what they were doing. They did everything at both locations in less than an hour and took away the old screening and door hardware that was replaced.

First a representative came out for a free estimate. We discussed the options before us. Replace whole house screen, partial or screen by screen. We decided to go with the partial; whole roof and some sides that really needed it. ( we had had some done about 5 years ago so they were still fine.) They were very easy to work with and since we are both retired and on a fixed income they price was fair. The time between the nogotiations and the work was long but we were in no hurry. They only thing we noticed is that we were picking up screening pices for a bout a week after throughout the lawn. small problem for great work. We would highly reccomend Advanced Aluminum. They have a great website also.

Very helpful. When we discovered we could not put in a solid metal roof oveer the patio, he helped me design a lower cost alternative.

Spoke with Paula when I called and immediately got a quote for the approximate measurements and options I wanted. She set up an appointment for their Sales Manager to come out. He came out the very next week - Todd - very nice, very professional and listened to exactly what I wanted - made some good suggestions I hadn't thought of - date 3/26/13. Bill (owner) came out and measured the very next few days to order items needed. Paula kept in touch and kept us informed of progress. Room was put in by two gentlemen in one day 4/15/13 - very professional and quiet. Then Bill came out and inspected work, placed permit paperwork in door. Inspection was made within the week and all is beautiful!

They performed a very professional installation and corrected a problem in a very short time. They used quality materials. We are very satisfied with the job and would use them again.

Project was a long duration project because numerous issues requiring unscheduled and unplanned repairs were discovered upon demolition and removal of the old screen room. Deteriorated wood had to be replaced, original posts were rotten and had to have the footing rebuilt and raised before they could be repaired and/or replaced. Stucco and water damage had to be repaired, a balcony with railing had to be rebuilt due to deterioration and numerous unpainted areas had to be sealed before installation of the new structure. The entire rear area exposed by the demolition had to be painted to improve water resistance and restore the water seal. The contractor was very helpful in pointing out areas to be repaired and was patient while extraordinary and unplanned repairs were made -- parts ordered, many trips to Lowes and Home Depot, and another contractor brought is to correct major structural issues. I couldn't have asked for a better group of people and a more professional company.

I called for a quote to install a front entry and replace some screen on the patio. His work was excellent and his price was substantially less that the other quote I had recd.

Quality of the work was excellent. Workers were polite and clean. The only difficulty we had was getting the job scheduled in a timely manner, likely because it was such a small job for them.

We needed to have an old screened enclosure rebuilt. After looking at Angies list, and Better Business Bureau, I studied their website for additional information. Their website gave me the impression that quality was their number one objective. I called them and they came out to give us a quote. Ron C. was very thorough and took his time explaining things and came up with an accurate quote. He answered a lot of questions we had and that helped to put our minds at ease. After the permitting process, they called to setup a time to begin the job. At this point Bill the owner of the company came out and went over the job thoroughly and explained everything in detail. Immediately i knew i had selected the right company after talking to him. His attention to detail and insistence on quality was very obvious. Communication between the company and ourselves was excellent. Paula in the office was always responsive to our needs and questions. This was a complex project as the screened area is a wrap around and has to mate to two different roof areas of the existing house. Also, there was existing ceramic tile on the floor of the cement foundation. Bill proposed a solution to keep the aluminum off the cement and the tile to prevent future corrosion. That solution involves installing the aluminum on a product called Starboard ( a marine material) It is just fantastic.They also install all stainless steel fasteners (of a specific type of stainless) in all the enclosure. The work began on time and proceeded well. The craftsmen that came out to do the work were tremendous. Richard, Dale and Ron (Ron came in the middle of the project) were extremely skilled. You could tell that they loved their work and wanted to do as good a job as they could. You couldn't ask for better people to do the work and I'm not exaggerating. They were very respectful and professional in every way. There were a few problems to solve along the way and they took them on and solved them all. We had to have a new flat roof done on the house where the screened area was to mate with the house. It was leaking some. Bill recommended a good roofer and coordinated with him on how the flashing should be done for the mating area to the new screened enclosure roof. The finished product is a masterpiece. We are so happy with the results and I would not hesitate to recommend them. I have absolutely no complaints about this company. I'm sure i could have gotten the job done cheaper, but, it would not have been as quality of a job. I am positive of that. If you hire this company, you will not regret it.
