Pro Tech Roofing of Brevard Inc

We spent a huge amount of money with Pro-Tech Roofing of Brevard back in 2019. After the work was complete I had a GC friend of mine check over the work these people did. His words were short and concise, " I would never use them". So in 2020 we had a leak and it took no less then a dozen phone calls to get these people to come out, check the problem and correct it. We had to nag nag nag them for weeks. It was always the same story from the receptionist, "All I can do is forward the message to the owner. I can't make him call you". The owner eventually sent someone out there and they fixed the roof but, it took another 3-4 more months of nagging them to get a drywall guy to fix the mess with our ceiling from the leak. Fast forward to 2022-23, we have yet another leak and cannot get insurance for our house until this is fixed. And so here we are again with multiple phone calls over the last 2 months and once again the lady says, "they owner will get in touch with you." And, so far, we cant get any callback or appointment to get this fixed! So while they were quick to take our money to install the roof, the after sales support from this company is p*** poor. I highly advise you to NOT USE THIS COMPANY as you will not get a very good roof put on and you will not get a warranty that you can count on. These people are just not professional in any manner on how they do business! Will be contacting the BBB next!

It went pretty well. I had to reiterate cleanup. Sometimes hard to get in contact with owner and receive follow-up. Did all the things I asked them to do.

They found a leak that nobody else could. They repaired it quickly. I dealt with the owner directly. They were very responsive and very reasonably priced. I can't say enough good things about them. The job was done quickly and professionally. They followed up afterwards to make sure.

Pro-Tech was very professional. They met all commitments as agreed. There was 1 delay of start by a couple of days due to weather but once started the project was completed on time and as committed. The total roof decking area was reattached using stainless steel roofing nails which the previous roofer, Shopke, did not do. All granulated cap sheet roofing corners were cut on a 45 degree angle to prevent the leaks that occurred from the previous improper installation. Kirk Schults, Estimator/Project Manager, noticed the vent pipe boots were being eaten by the squirrels and pointed out there would be wet areas around the location of each pipe missing significant amounts of lead boot material. This was the case with the vent pipe with the worst lead damage. There were no surprises and based on the fact that the project was completed to the contract with no additional charges even though the chimney work was more involved than anticipated in my opinion. I am totally satisfied and will use them on the next roofing project.

I'm happy with them and they are very good. I called them several times and I called them recently to get an estimate on the roof for my neighbor. The price on what they did was pretty affordable. They seem to be a very reputable company. I dealt with someone named Kirk and I recommend him to everyone. He seems to be extremely honest, comes in, very competent, does the job, doesn't try tot sell you something you didn't ask for and fix what you asked him to fix and he says, "Thank you very much," and leave. I'm very happy with him. I have no complaint.

Both code enfircement and my repair contractor said the work was not up to standards but since it is a rental I did not find out about the leak until this winter

The crew was efficient, cleaned up after themselves, professional and the owner came out to inspect the roof. I was pleased with the customer service. If you need your roof fixed give them a call.

I should have realized that this company is not completely professional when my former tenants were stood up by Kirk when it came time to get an estimate on fixing a leaky roof. But since my property manager recommended them, I gave them another shot. Bad move on my part. Kirk resubmitted his previous bid on the job, but then the company also sent us an estimate on another house by accident. Kirk grudgingly made an appointment to come over and fix my roof today. When I asked him what time I could expect him to come over, he told me 8:30. Well.....gave him an hour, and he still didn't show, nor did he call to tell me he would be here later. I called Tricia at the office and she told me that she was on the line with him and he would call me right back. I waited another 1/2 hour and still....no call from Kirk. In fact, when I called Tricia back, I got the company's voicemail. I told her to just cancel the job, since I couldn't trust them on my roof repair if they couldn't be bothered to give me decent customer service. To make sure they got the message, I told them that if Kirk did show up on my property, I was going to have him arrested for trespassing. The one thing they were punctual and accurate about was charging my credit card for a deposit. Go figure.

Once the contract was signed all work was started as scheduled. Team showed up early morning and worked constatly. Material was delivered on time and was on site when required. Inspections by City of Melbourne Building Inspectors where done as needed and on time so work could proceed without interuption. The whole area around house was kept clean and totally cleaned up at the end of work day and job.
