The last two times that I have called for service, a representative named Brian has refused to provide the service that I required. The first time was the installation of an irrigation timer for a lawn sprinkler system ( a very simple installation) and today after taking all of the information and taking up a good deal of my time on the phone, I was informed that they no longer service the Celebration area. They do good work, when it fits their narrow scope, but lately they seem to only take the jobs that they want, leaving me searching for other providers to do the work. I won't waste anymore of my time on the phone with them.

It was great! I was nervous because we couldnt afford a new A/C right now but it wasnt cooling like it should. Bert was awesome and professional. He checked everything and added R-22 (my A/C is pretty old!). Thanks Bert!

We had the best experience when Brian and Travis came to fix our AC problem. What really was exceptional was the fact that not only did they fix the problem but they corrected the cause. On several occasions others have (fixed the problem ) but no one looked for the cause. We are very happy to have found such a competent company! They came out the same day I called. Good work and very pleasant.

They were punctual, polite, and professional. They repaired the main problem and provided an estimate for a secondary issue. This was several months ago, and there have been no further problems. I would call them without hesitation if I needed a repair on my own HVAC system.

Very well. Larry was on time, asked a few questions to confirm what needed to be done, explained what he was going to do, answered my questions and got to work. His manner was respectful and he was nice to my dogs. When he was finished he quickly reviewed what he had done and made sure I was satisfied and had no further questions.

They answered my call when trying to schedule an appointment so I didn't have to waste time leaving a message. The tech was prompt and courteous. The only problem I had was that the tech didn't blow out the drain line and 2 months later water backed up into the house causing drywall damage. I called them back out to blow out the line so I had to pay for another service call. I gave them a poor rating on quality because I feel the tech should have blown the line saving me from further expense.

This was a very pleasant experience. The man was very patient and explained all the things that we questioned him about. They were very prompt, even offered to come that very afternoon when I called, at about 4 p.m. I said we could wait until morning and the truck was in the driveway not long after 8 a.m. I recommend these people highly. It is hard to get companies to come out this far sometimes and we are happy they do other things such as AC as well.

Got it back working. The service was on a Saturday. The tech called back explained he had a minimum weekend charge of $90. He said he'd be here at 4pm and he was, he did the work, he solved the problem and he charged the agreed upon minimum. What else could you want!

Mid afternoon I discovered our AC was not working. This was about 4 PM, hottest part of the day in Florida. I called our regular service provider who offered 24 hr. emergency service and was put on the list. They would not be able to get to me for 24 hrs. Called Kalos and was told they could be out in about 2hrs. Their price was a little higher but at least they would get to me today. A few minutes after I hung up I received a call from a Kalos tech and he said he could be there in 10 minutes. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, which was a faulty thermostat, provided with an older used one that he had in the truck that came off of another job, and had us back up an running before 6:30 that evening. Because of their promptness and professional services they have won all of our business for future HVAC needs. Thank you Kalos

We have been using Kalos for years. Routine maintenance and repairs until our old unit gave out. When we had them replace the unit they were there on time...no hidden charges...very respectful...very knowledgeable. Covered up carpets and cleaned up after job done. In September they came out for full A/C maintenance at no cost

I called Kalos and they have solved my AC issues for three different visits. The first was a exploratory issue of what was causing my problem, which they fixed with a recommendation. They also said if the solution would not work over time, that they would come out and replace the fan without charging another service fee. This happened and they replaced the fan motor, which solved my problem. They also let me look over what they were doing, which I know is kind of annoying, but I like to learn about my system. The third visit was required due to a lizard that crawled into the electronics and shorting out a board. Fixed quickly and on budget. Very happy with them, they show up on time or early with good communication from their office.

The tech arrived on time, was very helpful in answering my question about having an odd-sized filter and actually replaced with a much better new one and gave me the size, number, and website so I could order more - that has never been done by previous service companies. He identified the capacitor problem, which accounted for the noise in the outside unit, replaced it, and things are fine! I was very pleased and will continue to use them to maintain my 10-yr old HVAC unit.

Nathan was on time, polite, and friendly. Got right to work and cleaned up when finished.

I'm not one to normally rave, as our experiences with service in FL so far have not been great. However, Kalos Services is at the top of my referral list here forward. Our Technician came promptly, spent a fair amount of time on the unit, both inside and outside components. He showed me things I could do besides replacing the filter that will help ensure the unit runs for a long time. He drained the fluids that build up in the drain, cleaned off the coils in the main unit, checked all the pressures and temps and cleaned the outside unit as well. Was very, very thorough.

Fabulous was the word my son said about the finished project and I agree. This company did all I expected and more. This company deserves an A+ rating. Will use them again in a heartbeat.

It was a good deal and the workers were very nice. They guy came out and did a good job. I was very happy with it.

They seemed very nice and thorough. The guy was great when he was here but he wanted to charge me over $2000 to fix a part in a unit that was over eleven years old. They told me that was my only option. I called another company who came out and replaced the unit so I have a whole brand new unit for less than what Kalos wanted to charge me to put a part in an eleven year old unit and told me that was my only option. I am revising my rating of Kalos due to the following reasons. I was thoroughly impressed with the service technician who came out to my home to do the service call. They were better than prompt and very courteous and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, as a customer I was not aware of the Florida energy code in existence, and my only fault with Kalos at this point is that that information should have been communicated to me from the outset and I should have been given the ability to make the choice of whether I would want a part replaced in my 11 year old unit, or a totally new system inside and out. I could have then moved forward fully informed instead of having to call another company who was only too happy to oblige me with a new inside unit only. I would use Kalos again due to the way they handled this issue.

They are professional and curious I was very happy with their work. I would definitely use them in the future if needed

The AC story begins over a year ago when my wife and I bought a fixer upper. The heat pump was old but working when we started the renovations, but about a month into the job no AC. At that point I called the guy who does our AC service at work and he came out and told me the compressor was bad. We decided at that point not to spend the 5K quoted due to the fact that we weren't living in the house yet and had lots of renovations to do. Fast forward a year , we've saved the money required and are ready, so I call Kalos services based on Angies ratings and their proximity to use. Dean comes out right on time and I tell him the story. He checks things out and tells me the system is functional and after replacing the starter Cap both cold and hot work great. Will I use Kalos Services in the future? You bet. The only problem I've got is telling my wife she didn't have to work in all that heat last summer.

Our Air Conditioner froze up on us overnight. We received a recommendation about Kalos and decided to give them a call that morning. They arranged to have someone come out that afternoon. Mike from Kalos came in quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it the same day. Has been working great ever since! For no additional charge, Mike even took a look at our other units to make sure they are still working well.

Everything went smoothly. The techs were quite courteous. The techs worked with precision and explained and answered all my questions with knowledge. I will use them again when it's time for the 6 month checkup and I would recommend them to others if I am asked. Thank you.
