It was just one gentleman and it took him about 30 minutes to an hour. My husband called him back because something wasn't right and the man knew exactly what it was he talking about so he came back the next day to fix it correctly. The price was exactly what my husband was expecting.

Outstanding in every respect. Each and every person I interacted with was knowledgeable, professional, and efficient, providing explanations at every step along the way (what was broken, how they would fix it, how the install would be done, how the new equipment worked, how to maintain it, etc). They left the work space clean with no traces of their efforts. Kalos provided availability during evening/weekend hours when I needed them. Definitely will remain a customer.

They did a first rate install at a reasonable price. The team who completed the install went out of their way to ensure our satisfaction. I have used Kalos for other services and have always been impressed by their expertise and customer service. They always leave the job site spotless. I strongly recommend that you consider them.

Mike was awesome and showed up 2 hours after our initial call on a Saturday during 100 degree temperatures which I consider excellent service considering my wife called Del Air and they told us they'd be out Tuesday...ugh no thanks. Thanks to Angie List and the great Reviews I asked my wife to call Kalos as I was at work. Great service. They accepted the $20 Angie List coupon no problem.

Called and spoke with a live person at 11:10 pm on a Saturday when I realized that my ac was not cooling my home. I was told that my call out window would be 2 hours 11:30pm to 1:30am. (If I had waited till the next day my window increased to 4 hours, thought better just to get it done sooner, less wait) By 11:35pm I had a technician call me and tell me he was on the road and would be here in 30 min. After arrival he tested to make sure the unit was getting power, and determined that the condenser fan motor had burned out and needed replaced. He had the part on his truck, quoted me a price and began working. Although I rated price was only a "B" I would feel that way for anything I have to "Pay for", and after googling cost to replace found that it was the average cost. I did have to pay for the diagnostic fee in addition to the motor and install cost. All was complete in 2 hours. He did a once over my complete system and was on his way. System has been on cooling quite nicely. Thank you

I am very happy to say that our experience with Kalos was extremely positive and would highly recommend them to anyone else.

They were on time and very professional. Explained what was needed and the options. They cleaned everything and left area spotless. Would strongly recommend them.

Scheduling got back to me for a same day appointment. Guy worked quickly to find the problem and put outlet covers and the junction box plate back they way they were when he was done.

Excellent! Excellent! This company did a great job on multiple projects for me. The cost was very good based on all the projects they did. They are very professional, straight forward and great at problem solving issues. I would highly recommend you use this company if you need to have any electrical work or your Air Conditioner fixed.

Problem of AC not working due to thermostat not working was because of a fuse. The fuse was replaced and my AC was working again. He also checked out my system and found out everything was OK. In addition he wrapped some wires in my external unit with tape to minimize them rubbing against something that might cause a short.

Turns out it was us and the thermostat was fine. The temps were just brutal and the unit was doing a good job of keeping up. Kalos has helped us twice and I will always use them. They are professional, courteous and reasonable in price. In one word....AWESOME!

Great experience. From the initial phone call to the technician. They came quickly, addressed and fixed the problem. Couldn't have asked for better.

It went quickly and the young man who came was very professional.

From the initial service call and analysis by Nathan, it went very well. Nathan found the true reason for the A/C not operating as it should. He read the notes from the inferior A/C service that was there earlier that day and tried to make sense of his findings. I mentioned to Nathan about my interest in the Air Knight system, and Nathan said Kalos is a certified installer of that unit. It was like a match made in heaven. The system is now back up to 100% on cooling our home, as well as the AIR Knight making sure that the air my family breathes is now much cleaner.

They were excellent. They were here on the 1st of July. Their services were excellent. They arrived on time and did what needed to be done. They couldn't have been better, I was pleased. I will use them again.

Honestly, I don't remember the exact date or the price, but I do remember that I was satisfied with the price and the quality of workmanship AND honesty provided by the technician. Our a/c unit wasn't working properly, and with the hot temps we needed our unit fixed asap. The technician arrived in less time than we expected, and found that the lines needed cleared, and I think he added some freon. It didn't take him long to fix. He did tell us that by the looks of things, we would need a new a/c unit within a few years.

Everything was done as promised would use again without reservation.

We had been noticing that our Mitsubishi split converter system wasn't keeping us as cool as it had the previous two summers. I think it took a while for it to sink in because the process was so gradual. Finally we realized the system must need servicing. We called Kalos, who installed it for us three years earlier (yes, 3 years!) and made an appointment for their maintenance service, which I saw listed here on Angie's List for $79. I also noticed a $20 off coupon on maintenance services, so I printed that off. One of the guys who installed the system actually came to do the service, so he knew what the set-up was for it. He took apart the inside units and explained that, beyond the external filters that they had instructed us how to clean, there were long, round internal brushes on the inside that would need cleaning. He explained that these brushes were coated with a type of oil (I think) that fended off grime and dust, but after the passage of time even they require cleaning, especially in an old house like this. He showed me one of them and it was covered with accumulated grime. He took the filter/brush outside and cleaned it for a long time. Boy, did it look new again when he was finished. I had assumed the entire service would take a half-hour or so, but he still had a second inside unit to clean the brush filter on, plus he did some work on the outside unit. I had to leave so I didn't see what he did, but my wife said he even cleaned off some of that insidious green stain from the outside of it (algae, mildew or whatever). When I saw how meticulous his work was and how time consuming it was turning out to be, I assumed that either: 1) it would cost more than the standard $79 service, or 2) if they did charge the standard $79 amount, it would be considered one of their service specials and therefore they would not accept the coupon. But the service did cost $79 and he gladly honored the coupon. You get used to things costing more than you plan on, so it was a welcome relief to have our system working just as great as it did when it was new for the cost of a regular maintenance. We will definitely call Kalos when we are ready to install another unit for our last two rooms, and we won't wait so long for the next service of the current system. Since my original review is over three years old and no longer listed, I will briefly say that back then we gathered three estimates, and Kalos was the only outfit who listened to what we wanted and gave an appropriate estimate for the work. (We knew we wanted a Mitsubishi split converter system to cover just two-thirds of the house.) The estimate was within the range we expected, and we were satisfied with the entire installation process. And now we find we are just as happy with their service as well.

Service were performed at the cost to me. Over $1500. Worth. Yes there was 2 times they came out for free but they charged me for all other services and after speaking with them on the phone they also turned the work in to the warranty company as well. So this company was paid twice for the services they provided to me. In the end I fired Kalos and went with a better company. Please beware

When he did not call back in an hour and a half I called back. I then talked to Sam who said it would cost $1250.00 plus labor. At this time I believed I was being overcharged so I thanked him and called a small AC & heat company in Groveland fl who responded and sold and installed the variable speed motor for $612.00 plus labor.
