We interviewed three painting contractors local to the area where our house is located. Craig was the first contractor that we met with and we were very impressed with his knowledge and thoroughness of inspection of the property. He discussed in great detail the steps involved in painting both the interior and exterior, explaining how and why different products are used, and taking time to answer all our questions. Craig gave us a quick tutorial on house painting which allowed us to speak more knowledgeably with the next two contractors - we have to say that he set the bar high. At that time we discussed his approach and decided that even if he was a little higher in price we would be prepared to pay a small premium to use him. The truth is that in the final analysis his estimate was in fact the most competitive. Craig and his crew were punctual and extremely professional, completing the painting job right on schedule. The house is a rental property and as such 75 miles from where we live. Craig really went out of his way to keep us in the loop, sending regular reports and photographs. He told us of a small area of roof damage he noticed, we asked if he knew someone locally he could recommend to fix it, he told us that he had been in the roofing business and that for a very small amount of money he would take care of it. He did and indeed found matching shingles and made an almost invisible repair. As mentioned the house is a rental, Craig worked with the tenant and ensured he worked closely with them and their schedule. We would without doubt use him for future jobs.
