CARPET BROKER'S OF CENTRAL FLORIDA

I purchased very expensive Mohawk carpet from this merchant after being told that Mohawk covers anything and everything that could happen to the carpet. I was never provided with a warranty so I did not know of any exclusions to the warranty. The reason I paid so much for this particular carpet is because of the warranty I was told it came with. The installation was shoddy at best and there was a distinct and obvious seam in the middle of the room that began to fray and separate and on one half of the room, the carpet was not even to the wall. They had cut the carpet too short and instead of cutting a new piece they told me that they would stretch the carpet and fix the seam. This did not work and to this date I have not been able to get someone back out to fix the problem. I was told that "Carpet Broker's" went out of business, yet the phone number is the same, the address is the same and the employees are the same but now working for a company called "Great Lakes Carpet". Mohawk did not stand behind their warranty and Carpet Broker's did nothing to assist, other than argue about who was supposed to file the claim and then file a claim that was not even accurate. I am now replacing carpet in that room less than 2 years since it was purchased.

FROM THE MOMENT OF ORDERING THE CARPET TO THE ACTUAL INSTALLATION, THEY WERE EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND DEDICATED TO GETTING THE JOB COMPLETED. THE INSTALLERS ACTUALLY STAYED UNTIL 2AM IN THE MORNING TO COMPLETE THE JOB AT MY REQUEST BECAUSE I HAD TO WORK THE FOLLOWING DAY. KUDO'S TO THE TEAM.
