Ziggy's Perfect Home Solutions Inc

Based on the very positive reviews found on Angie's list, my wife called Ziggy's on March 9th to requests an estimate. We were told they could be out the next day to look at master bath and work up estimate. The next morning my wife called back to advise we would be out for just a bit in the morning but that if there was no answer at the home number we had left the day before, to please call her on her cellphone so that we could come straight back home. We never received a return call (at either the home or cell phone number) and no one ever showed .. I thought we would give this company the benefit of the doubt but now a week has gone by with no further response from the company. We could perhaps understand if one contact number was inadvertently misplaced, but two ???

We are absolutely thrilled with the result, Ziggy goes above and beyond to be sure the job is completed to your satisfaction. He offers advice based on his experience which was very helpful. There were a few snafus, that happen with older homes, but he was able to handle them to our satisfaction, like replacing water valve on heater and water main faucet that started leaking. Only con was that he became too busy before the holidays and wasn't able to complete our job on time, had too many jobs going at once, and didn't order all specialty items timely.

It was a trouble free experience. Ziggy and his guys are friendly, thorough and professional.

I have nothing bad to say about him. It is what it is. I had to have the deal cancelled. He is a good contractor and does good work.

It went great and I would highly recommend Ziggy for any type of remodeling job. He will help you with the design and make suggestions on materials and layout. He recommended using his custom built, all wood cabinets for the kitchen and bathrooms and I am so glad I agreed. The quality and appearance is so much better than the stuff at Home Depot and I didn't pay nearly as much as I thought I would have to for custom made cabinets. And, Ziggy threw in a couple of extras like glass front doors and lazy Susans. Since I was absent for the whole process, I had to trust Ziggy and his crew to come in and do the work correctly without my supervision. Granted, this allowed Ziggy to work at his own pace, but everything he did reflected his old world sense of integrity, craftsmanship and quality. His goal was to make me, the customer, more than happy wih the outcome. Along the way Ziggy did lots of little things to improve the look and utiliy of the condo and he never balked or charged extra when I asked for a favor like...could you install this ceiling fan....could you also install these towel racks? The wood flooring I ordered didn't fit together properly, causing Ziggy's guys some extra work, but he never complained and didn't include an extra charge on his final bill. And, his final bill was as I expected and, I believe, quite reasonable, compared to other contractors in the area.

Overall pleased with the work vs. cost equation. Remodels are always complicated and Ziggy and the crew worked diligently to complete the tasks laid out and handled changes during the project well. The only two things that I would state as reference... 1) I feel the project could have been completed quicker, that is, the project started slowly with generally only one crew member on site, and then as my original deadline approached so much work needed to be completed I believe they all rushed a bit. 2) The fit and finish of the final product, i.e. sheet rock finishing & trim work could have been a little more precise; possibly it was up to the painter (in this case myself, homeowner) to smooth out some of the trim and wall imperfections, but overall I am satisfied with the work. That was hopefully last of the major jobs, but there are plenty of smaller tasks that I would hire Ziggy for in the future; I feel I now have a local crew that can help me with my home into the future.

It went great. The job took two days to complete. Ziggy and his men were here on time and didn't leave until the job was completed.His work was flawless - trim, paint and finishing were done to perfection. The icing on the cake was that he was the low bid by far. I would use him again in a heartbeat.

Ziggy turned my ugly house into my dream house. Ziggy really cares about his work and wants you to be happy with it. I never thought my house would be this nice. Ziggy is an expert in his field. My house had some challeges that he was able to fix. Ziggy is dependable and reliable. I will alway use him and I recomend him to all of my friends.

Ziggy transformed our kitchen .He installed all new maple cabinets, stainless steel sink and faucet, garbage disposal, granite counter tops ,and travertine wall tile. He also removed a wall, removed ceiling tiles, soffit, and installed a new ceiling. He installed a new vent through the roof and all new wiring to new lights and switches. He even built a beautiful custom pantry that fits perfectly between the counters and wall. And the old wall paper was removed and replaced with beautiful paint and trim. Ziggy is very detail oriented and takes pride in his work. He wants his customers to love his work, and he succeeds. We will definitely be calling Ziggy for future work.

He let me know that it would take him 3 weeks to get to my job. I thought that was very professional, that he would let me know ahead of time. He is very polite and professional. Really nice guy.

Ziggy and his trusty and highly skilled workman Darek completely remodeled our master bathroom. The old bath was a nightmare, from the molding grout to the rotting vanity to the inefficient old toilet on the outdated floor tile. Ziggy ripped out everything, and in the case of the shower, down to the studs. He framed in a new linen cabinet where there was wasted space before and put in a beautiful travertine shower, with accents around the top, a recessed shelf, and a gorgeous glass enclosure. He put in a new comfort-height vanity with a beautiful marble top and dual under-mount sinks, and a mirror with matching frame. We also got a new high-efficiency comfort-height toilet and new chiseled-edge travertine floor tile. The custom-made cabinetry is constructed of solid plywood and beautifully stained, and comes together perfectly with our brushed nickel fixtures. Even the lighting is perfect--LED can lights that come on immediately and look completely natural. (I was prepared to post pictures, but couldn't figure out how on Angieslist...)

Ziggy upgraded and enlarged my kitchen to a usable and enjoyable space. The kitchen cabinets and floor came out amazing. The project was completed in a timely manner. I would definitely use him again. He even thru in a free window!!

I did not think he was professional as he did not bring a ladder and other tools and I had to come home to provide the proper tools for him. He did do a good job on the work but he was not prepared.

Ziggy gave us an estimate, we picked out the granite at Rojas Granite and set a date. A little delay with Ziggy's granite workers because of another job commitment. Plumber was right on time, and seemed to be waiting in the wings. New plumbing fixtures are excellent. The workers were efficient, hard working and skilled. If all goes well, they can be in and out in a day. Ziggy was readily available by phone, provided a visit at another site, and stopped by to inspect the work and pick up his final payment. He provided a written price for the job and stuck to it. Dobra praca!

Ziggy demolished old kitchen and is now in process of making it a work of art. I am so happy with the work that has been done so far. His ideas and color coordination are remarkable. I would definitely recommend Ziggy Perfect Home Solutions. The wait was worth it.Top notch and top quality.

Ziggy was excellent! He allowed me to make my own selections to achieve the specific look I was going for. I purchased the tile and vanity from Lowes and Floor and Decor and Ziggy picked them up for me which was great! Unknowingly I picked tile (rectified tile and a chevron mosaic border) that can be difficult to install and typically has an up-charge but Ziggy did not charge me extra to install. He and his workers were very respectful of my home and my time. He went out of his way to schedule a week that would work with my school and work schedule. Ziggy is also great at trouble shooting. The vanity that I bought did not line up with the water pipes coming out of the wall and Ziggy figured out a way to make it work. I am very happy with the finished product!!

A friend of mine recommended Ziggy for my construction project,so we met with Ziggy and he was very helpful in planning and designing our new addition as well being very friendly and professional. Our drawings were completed promptly and permits were pulled soon after. Demolition began next and we were very happy we could stay at our house during the whole construction proccess thanks to the neatness of Ziggy and his crew. After demolition they poured the footer and the slab and before you know it walls were up and we were on our way. We had a very complex roofing situation and Ziggy was able come up with a solution that worked very well. Every inspection we had, passed the first time out...we were very impressed with that. All in all we had a very pleasant experience with Ziggy and his crew...he even designed and built our outdoor patio which we use every day and feels like a resort we couldn't be happier. We would not hesitate to recommend Ziggy to anyone and would use him again.

He came out and looked at our work; he was excellent, a real gentlemen. He has worked with us well; and is always quick to respond. Unfortunately; we had some unexpected medical issues pop up and cannot get the work done right now. Once these are resolved we hope to get back in contact with the company and get the remodel done.

My wife and I liked Ziggy the first time we met. He is a pleasant person to deal with. Ziggy made arrangements for us to see some of the other remodeling projects he has completed near us and everyone was extremely happy with his work. Some other contractors we talked to seemed to make the job more than it was which inflated the project cost. Ziggy came up with some good idea's that we had not thought of, so the combination of his and our idea's made our bathroom project great. Ziggy's tile person was exact in tile placement and the finished project reflected his perfection. We had a minor problem with the free standing shower door and Ziggy got another door to fix it. Ziggy is not happy until his clients are happy. We have recommended Ziggy to our friends in our area and they have contracted with him to do their bathrooms as well.

Agreed that could be done easily, but I choose not to have done until January 2014. He said that would work for his business. Pleased with items and work to be done for price of coupon deposit for remodeling.

I was referred to Ziggy's Home Solutions by a neighbor and checked his profile on Angie's. I had just purchased a condo that was, unbeknownst to me, infested with termites. The only solution was a demo and replacement of the entire kitchen and bathroom. Ziggy removed the damaged countertops and cabinets and took them directly to the dump. He checked behind the drywall for damage and then sprayed the new materials for protection. The cabinets are custom made-and it shows-and the countertops are hand selected high grade granite. Lighting was installed below the top cabinets and was so intricate as to require the expertise of an engineer. Italian tile with a beautiful and well-placed accent was installed along with a deep bathtub and chrome fixtures. The custom cabinetry was also used in the bathroom and the granite is one-of-a-kind. Nickel fixtures and a never-seen-before slow close seat came with the new toilet. Ziggy's chose a nice color of paint. Oh, I almost failed to mention that a travertine backsplash, accented-of course, was placed above the sink. A really excellent job. Ziggy maintains a work ethic that cannot be matched. Having formerly worked as a mechanical engineer, his technical contractor performance is top grade. Ziggy is also able to assist in aesthetics as well as any interior designer. The company works straight through the job, which is often a rarity with some contractors. I am satisfied and I know whom I would hire for any future work.

Once the work was started, everything went wonderfully. I am very pleased with the work. The crew did a very good job. They cleaned up after themselves once all the work was completed. The jobsite during the remodeling was not spotless but very reasonable and in line with what was expected. The only thing I would advise everyone of is that you will need to be patient. Ziggy is very busy and stays booked. Once we made the decision, accepted the proposal, and made the down payment; the work was scheduled six weeks later. That was the first opening he had. He was very upfront about the timing of the work. There was an additional one week delay that was aggravating, but worth it in the long run. I would use Ziggy again and recommend him to anyone who asked.

We contacted Ziggy after finding him on Angie's List. Ziggy came out and provided a quote for a second story deck we wanted built above an existing porch. Ziggy provided an estimate the same day and later contacted us with building plans. Ziggy modified the plans based on our feedback and submitted the final product for review so permits could be issued. Work began shortly after permits were issued. The job was completed in less than a week. Ziggy and another worker completed the work. They did an excellent job with great attention to detail. Ziggy even patched a small section of siding that was missing in the area where the deck tied into the house. Ziggy was great to work with and arrived each morning working through the entire day. We were very pleased with Ziggy and will definitely contact him for future home remodeling projects.
