I highly recommend Zager windows. It was a great experience working with them, especially the owner Dan Hosmer. Their prices were great. Their crew took care of our job and cleaned up beautifully.

We are very happy with the quality of work that Windows by Zager performs. I had a number of other contractors bid on the work and they were all comparable. I am very pleased with the Zager windows and the outstanding installation work they do. As another review stated, be patient! It can take 4 months from the time you leave your deposit to when the doors/windows are ready to be installed.

The Zager team was quick, professional and did very high quality work at a fair price. We highly recommend for window replacement.

Went well. The salesman was great. He came out in a few days of our call. Spent time with us, showing us brochures, telling us about his product and the regulations in Pinellas County, talking us through the process, measuring the windows, told us about available rebates and how to get them, and the pricing. As we were getting several estimates, he contacted us periodically over the several weeks, not being pushy but letting us know he was still interested in our business no matter how long it took for us to decide. Each time, he was helpful answering our questions. Once contract was signed, someone came out a few weeks later and took accurate measurements of the windows and gave us an estimated date of service. The service ended up about a month later than estimated which they explained to us was due to the manufacturer. We did have to call a few times to find out when they were coming in. Each person who came to our home was professional and timely. When they called and said they were coming, they showed up on time. We had one window that wasn't lined up right after installed and they replaced it without an issue.

Excellent experience from the initial contact until final installation of screw plugs after the county inspection. Everyone we had contact with was very knowledgeable, professional and on time with all appointments. We did several iterations of the scope of work before completing the estimate and there was never any problem with my requested changes. Installation team was very professional and did a fantastic job. The county inspector was complimentary of the window and installation quality. I have four more windows that need to be replaced and Windows by Zager will be the contractor when I do it within the next year.

Zager's professionalism from beginning to end was the best I experienced. I received five different quotes - the main reason for that being the more I learned researching the windows, the more confused I got! Each of the companies sold a different brand or a mixture of brands. Two of the five, including Zager, were on the lower end pricewise. My bids ranged from $7K to $13K. One company was eliminated right off due to poor ratings with the BBB; another was a higher-priced option and the third was a company that was new to the high-impact market. At this point, it was really down to the windows. I visited both Zager's and Clearwater Windows' showrooms (Clearwater offered PGT Windows), and I just liked the CWS windows better. In addition, PGT seemed to have issues with post-installation service and parts that were no reflection on the installing companies. It was just over 2 months before the windows were ready to be installed. Once the installation date was set, everything was like clockwork. The installation team (Duke and his partner) worked in concert, checking and rechecking their work. The windows and work area were cleaned before they left. It's been six months now, and I'm still in love with my windows. I've not had any issue except that I'm too short to reach the higher lock on the window over the kitchen sink, so I bought a mini step stool. One concern I had was with the windows looking cheap or not having as much open area (light) as my old ones. No problem. They sound solid when I close them, and we noticed immediately the difference in the power bill. They are also easy to clean. I highly recommend Windows by Zager and CWS Windows!

Of the 3 estimates I received, this was the best. Plus the windows they provide didn't have additional features I didn't need. Duke installed all 10 windows in a day and a half. I also appreciated that Duke worked with me on the order of window installation since I have 4 cats the needed to be put in a closed bedroom while the work was being done. The installation was excellent and they cleaned up all of the debris.

Everything went as planned/scheduled. Said it would take 6-8 weeks from order to delivery. Took approximately 5. Since I was out of town they had no problem waiting 3 weeks until I returned. Duke and his partner did the installation. They arrived on time; went about the installation professionally. Covered furniture with tarps before starting and vacuumed each room as completed. Answered many questions patiently. Would definitely recommend.

Was told they would contact me soon by email. It has been two months and I never received a call or email from them.

I was very pleased with Windows by Zager. They did a beautiful job installing my sliding glass doors in less than a day's time. I had no clean-up when they were done--they were very professional and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend them!

When I signed the contract the end of January, I was told they would be installed in 6 to 8 weeks. I told the salesman I was having guests the month of April and would like it finished by then. When I didn't hear from them for 8 weeks I called and was told the windows had come in but one was broken and they wouldn't come out until they had the whole order. I asked how long it would take to make one window and was told they would have to get in line and didn't know. They finally called and wanted to schedule the end of April. Between my guests, other obligations and their schedules, we finally agreed on May 21st. The installers were very efficient and neat and finished in two days. The inspector came the next week as scheduled and I was told someone would come out from Zager soon and finish putting the caps over screw holes and finish up. I waited two more weeks for that and then another two weeks for someone to come and secure a loose valance. My 6 to 8 week wait turned into 5 months!!! lledlled

Received estimate as scheduled. Windows were ready when promised. Installation was quick and professional. Clean up was better than expected. Workers were pleasant and efficient. Very pleased. Highly recommend. No problems. Windows have been in house for 9 months and we're still as pleased as the day they were installed.

They look wonderful. The work man was terrific. They were fast and very pleasant people.

In Jul;y we got three bids from door and wondow companies including Zager. This companys product measured up to the other comperables and were thousands of dollars less expensive. The product is made in this general area. Mr Zager came out twice and was very generous with his time and to answer our questions. we waited about 6 weeks for the product and installation began September 10 and was finished by the 13th. The employees Duke and Earnest were delightful, helpful and fast. they arranged for building inspections and other legal requirements. They even bought us a ceiling light cover for over the new front door beause the old one did not clear the new door. we were very pleased with the service, the professionalism and the good humor of the employees.

They came and gave estimate. Then worked around our vacation schedule for the installation. The worked was done on schedule and on time. A very good experence, We would recomend them to anyone.

This was a wonderful experience. I had an estimate from Ernie Zager and when I was ready called to give the go-ahead. Careful measurements were taken and when the windows came in, the installation was flawless. Following that, the windows were sealed (caulked) and all the finishing was certified. I am so happy with these windows. The house is now measurably quieter and my power bills have gone down. I am so pleased that I just had Ernie give me an estimate on two door openings and am saving for those.

Overall things went well. There were some issues with trying to get the windows from the manufacturer - took longer than it should have, over 10 weeks. This was not acceptable, but something Zager had no control over.

We had no problems. They were very good and we were happy with them.

We had contracted to have a roof installed on our two story home when we realized that the windows should be done first. We called Ernie with our need for fast and quaility service. They complied.

I originally spoke with Ernie about new windows in 2010, and was very impressed, but couldn't afford them at that time. Fast forward to 2012, and I called back to proceed. Ernie remembered our conversation, came to my home and updated my estimate. I am very happy to be using a product that is Made in America. These windows are manufactured in Ocala, Florida. I placed my order, was told the time frame necessary to manufacture them. They came in right on time. The install took place efficiently and very cleanly. I am already reaping the benefits of these wonderful new windows. LR

Ernie Zager was prompt and professional in coming to the house and explaining about windows and prices. We contracted with him on 5/12/11 and he took all the measurements. It was to be a 6 week wait for the windows to be delivered. The windows were installed on 8/4/11. Upon inspection, it was found that 4 windows had mullions that were not supposed to have them; one window had a major flaw in the glass and one window had a bent mullion. So 6 of the 12 had to be replaced. We heard nothing for some time and had to call to find out what was going on. The factory said no one told them the flawed window needed to be replaced and Ernie said the factory had lost the order. Four windows were replaced; then one window came in and once again had a bent mullion and had to be reordered. Finally in early December, the flawed window was replaced after two visits by a factory representative. The new one still had a small flaw. After all this time we said we would accept it. The installation was fine, the workers courteous, cleanup was fine. The frustrating part was that we never had any news unless we made multiple calls to find out what was going on with our windows. There were no apologies for the errors. These flaws and errors, except for the 4 incorrect windows were pointed out by the installers not by us; we were not being super picky. If the original installed windows had been correct we would have been very happy with the job; it was the long wait with no updates and the additional flawed windows that made this so frustrating.

I liked from beginning to the end. When the owner came out he was prompt and very informative. He told me the truth and was very professional. He explained everything and the prices were excellent. His installers were prompt, clean, and very professional. I would highly recommend them and will use them again.
