Great knowledge, great customer service and very professional

I got a quote for 8 vents and one day installation (this was to replace A/C duct work for the whole house). When the installers had taken a number of things apart, they told me I needed 10 vents. It cost an extra $500 for the 2 extra vents. I was told it would take 1 day for installation. It took 2 days. So I didn't get what I expected. The guys who actually did the work knew what they were doing, though.

Staff at Velocity Air Conditioning, Inc are very knowledgeable and took the time to explain issues in full detail. They went above and beyond my expectations consider they where dealing with fixing another companies mistakes.

I had a dryer ventilation pipe installed from the dryer to exhaust outside at the roof. The people were great and the work was done well. My only suggestion would be to get the proposal but to not agree to the final cost till the job is done. The original agreed upon proposal was quite high ($700)... higher than other estimates. After the work was done it was apparent that the work proposed (more complex and costly) and the work accomplished to do the job right (a simplified version of original proposal) were two different things. I had to call the company to get the cost adjusted down to reflect what was actually done, which they sort of agreed to do for me. They took about half the time and used half the material as originally proposed, but only discounted about 25% (down to $500) which was disappointing. But again, they were great to work with and did a very good job.

Good customer service, the technician was right on time, found the problem (transformer blew) and had it fixed in less than an hour. The only "value" is I didn't shop and compare so don't know if I got the best price, but i'm happy with the work
