My technician Shawn was very polite and knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail and was very efficient. Gave me some solid advice and was a really nice guy. I would definitely request him again. Their pricing is very competitive too .

I had 3 techs come out all recommending different things. I spent almost $600 with them and did not get the problem resolved. The last tech said I needed a new motor. I am glad I did not listen to him. It wound up being a fan resistor diagnosed by another company. It was repaired. Velocity techs are inexperienced and did not even test for the fan switch. I do not recommend them.

They were very accommodating to my schedule and they were not trying to push extra work on me. They worked with my budget.

I have knowledge of a/c operation so when I called Velocity a/c , I told the rep exactly what was wrong and what part was needed to repair my central air. I was given a quote, I asked is this an exact figure and was told "YES". When the a/c tech arrived he confirmed my diagnosis was correct. However, prior to stating the repair the tech gave me an invoice for 50% more than I was originally quoted. I immediately called the office. I talked to a customer service rep who told me that the invoice the tech had was the price and didn't care about the quote I received. I then told the rep, that I am not going to have their company repair the a/c unit. The rep said I owed them $49 for the tech to come to the house. Once again, I told the rep that the $49 charge was not mentioned on my original call and I had no intention of paying it. the rep hung up on me. The tech then called his supervisor who agreed to reduce the amount to where I was not paying 50% over the quote but 25%, I reluctantly agreed. The tech did excellent work and helped me resolve part of the over change. However, I will never call Velocity A/C again. To me they are deceptive in their business practices by providing erroneous quotes and not stating 100% of the customers obligations.

Timely arrival and quick diagnosis. Had to get fan motor and another associate returned later in evening to repair. Overall a smooth experience. The only reason I skimped a little on value rating is because I didn't get other quotes so I don't have 100% conviction on that score. Will definitely consider again if need arises.

I had a leaking AC unit that on inspection required replacement. Three options were offered. My preferred option was delivered and installed the same day. Jaison and his crew were very professional and proficient. For what was a very distressing occurrence it had in fact very pleasing resolution.

They called me within about two minutes of requesting the quote online. Tech was at our house within about 30 minutes, on a Saturday, and without a surcharge for weekend work. He was absolutely on top of it, diagnosed what was done wrong by our prior service tech with another company, and completely resolved our issue. Very, very pleased with this company, tech (named Shaun), and Home Advisor.

We had to have the tech come out after business hours. He was prompt and professional. The problem was a loose wire on the thermostat. The AC would not turn on. Once he reconnected the wire, the AC came on and stayed on. A blessing

They called to confirm the appointment, and called when they were on their way. When Dwayne was on his way, he called to let me know. Dwayne was friendly, thorough, and took the time to show me everything and explain everything to me. Dwayne also took the time to talk to me and understand what I was interested in doing, rather than just assuming that I wanted to most expensive option for repairs. Dwayne provided several estimates for different options, and explained the pro's and con's of each. Overall a great experience working with Velocity.

My A/C went out completely and living in Florida you know it had to fix asap. I was up and checking on line for a local AC repair company around 6:30 AM on a Friday. Most did not open until 7 AM. I went on Home Advisor and they gave me 3 people to contact. I was still waiting until 7 AM when I got a call from Velocity and said they could have someone there around 9 AM. I set up the appointment. While I was waiting another one of the Home Advisor's company call to see if they could help. I told them already had someone but would keep them in mind if Velocity could not help. Velocity actually show up around 8 AM and gave me some option. I decided to have the whole system replaced. The install team showed around 9:30 am. They were polite and I felt like I was in good hands. It took a lot of hard work to get the old unit of attic it had been there since 1993. Long story short they did an great job and I will be recommending them to everyone who asks about AC work.
