After Hurricane Milton, Tree Tech was the only company that returned our call, and the only one that came out when they said they would to give us an estimate, and came back in a decent amount of time to do the job. They were very efficient and knowledgable.

I hired Tree Tech USA to trim some oak trees and cut a dead one down. They had a Certified Arborist who did most of the cutting so I assumed they would follow the City of Tampa rules & regulations for trimming. Unfortunately, they DID NOT get a permit and didn't tell me. As a result, they cut many branches that were "protected" under the law as well as the dead oak and the City of Tampa is now fining me $12,000 -$15,000 in fees, fines, & penalties. I paid Tree Tech upon completion and they knew then that penalties would be presented to me but I did not find out until a week later. Naturally, they cashed my check the same day I paid them. When I emailed Larry H., owner, he basically was unresponsive and said the violations were "absurd"... since then he has not answered any emails etc. The quality of their work is marginal at best but they are unprofessional, unethical, & dishonest as well as unresponsive to problems. I felt that we should "share the fines" but they will not communicate. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY and save yourself some potential problems.
