He did the job, but the agreed upon price was bad. The quality of the service was okay. They were here pretty quickly. I would probably not use them again. They could have been better in price because what they did was not that big. Two-hundred dollars was kind of ripping me off.

I paid $99 for nothing. They did not perform any service. They stole $99.

Service provider is unable to provide service due to not being associated with Angie's List, so he claimed.

They were prompt and efficient. Completed the work as requested. However one of the lights only worked for about a month, then quit working. I don't know if it was the installation or a malfunction of the light as I haven't had it checked.

That job went fine, worth the money

It took numerous attempts to get the provider to show up. I attempted to use him a second time but did not call or show up numerous times.

Poor, will not purchase an Angie "deal" again. Purchased 2 hours for $100 as an Angie "deal". Electrician never called even though the advertised deal indicated that they would call to set up an appointment within 2 days. I initiated contact with Electrician, left message, they never returned call. Contacted Angies list to have money refunded - and have yet to receive.

Was a little difficult to get scheduled, but once here, they took care of business. Very honest and accurate in estimating how long things would take. Would happily hire again.

Fixed the outlets in the kitchen fast, and showed how it was done. An outside outlet was not working also, and needed a new cover. Traveled to a store to get a new outside outlet unit with a cover, and installed it. Gave an estimate price for a new outlet in the garage, as needed, for the future.

UPDATE.... I thought that the work was done well at first. 9 months later I realize that I was taken. If you use this guy, ABSOLUTELY PULL A PERMIIT. They failed to even hook up the Main Breaker Shut Off in my new service box. United AC is at my house and cannot believe what they are seeing. My AC air handler was not on its own circuit. It was tied into 5 other circuits. I have an electrician on his way to try and clean up their work. I will likely have more problems found when the inspector comes( ie they used pull ties to shore up conduit and did not insulate the conduit entry holes into the home. If they do not mention a permit...do not assume that you do not need one.........these guys ARE NOT professionals!!!!!!

I ordered the special through Angie's list and it took him awhile to get back to me and then even longer to get it scheduled and done. But it looks and works great.

Called several times to schedule the service, but provider didn't return any of my calls.

I called the owner Jim Swern many times and despite his words he never returned my calls. Feeling no confidence in this contractor, I asked Angie's List to promptly refund my $ 99. Definitely " BOTTOM NOTCH" electrical service !!!!!

Called them after purchasing an Angie's List Big Deal. He came a few days later, removed the existing light fixtures and out up new ones we had previously purchased. Overall great experience. Thanks!

'Failed to contact. I contacted and he promised to call that afternoon with appointment times. Failed to call. Life is too short to have to deal with unresponsive service providers.

They showed up on time and at short notice. Took them a little time to figure out the problem but got it fixed and made a couple of trips to get supplies and did not charge extra.

AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS PROVIDER. Angie's List should be ashamed to not only list this provider as an "A" rated one, but to continually offer specials. The main reason we bought the $99 special was to fix an overhead light/fan. The two "electricians" unscrewed the light bulb and announced that the only way to fix it was to replace the wiring in the house. (As an aside, another electrician..NOT Top Notch... fixed it in a matter of a few minutes). Then the two "electricians" went to Home Depot to buy some light switches that needed replacing (which they did not have in their truck), charging us by the hour for the additional time. A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. WE PAID ABOUT $200 and only got a few light switches replaced, which I could have done myself. I have called the owner, Bill Swerm, at least a dozen times. Each time he has promised he would come out to my house to see what the story was and possibly make a refund. HE HAS NEVER BEEN OUT, IN SPITE OF SETTING APPOINTMENTS SEVERAL TIMES. HE HAS NEVER RETURNED A CALL AND HAS NEVER CALLED TO APOLOGIZE FOR THE MISSED APPOINTMENTS. THIS IS AS POOR A SERVICE COMPANY AS I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO USE AND MY ADVICE TO YOU IS TO AVOID THIS PROVIDER. As to Angie's List, they rate this provider as "A" in both Recent and Overall reviews. This is totally NOT true. In the first five pages of reviews, 13 of 20 reviews rate this provider as F (THE LOWEST GRADE YOU CAN GIVE). 65% rate him "F". How can Angie's List rate this provider as an "A" provider? Why do they even have his as a listed provider? And, they promote him regularly with "specials". Disgraceful. I have lost confidence in Angie's List and no longer will rely on them for unbiased opinions. 65%

After some initial confusion about a date, they turned up exactly on time, worked quickly and professionally. It was a team of two (note -the Angie's List deal is 2 hours of work by one electrician - for the 2 that came, it was 1 hour). They brought all of their own materials, including ladders; after a brief discussion to confirm the work I needed, they got right to it and were done right on time. Will certainly use again.

Three people showed up, one performed most of the work, one supervised and handled a more difficult installation, and one cleaned up. Work was performed as requested.

Great, quick and efficient. They even helped bring old stuff to garbage for me.

After several conversations with Bill Swem and a missed appointment, I give up on this service! Thanks to Kevin from Angie's List for his assistance.

I purchased the "deal" November 25th and as of yesterday, January 9 I had not heard a work from them, despite my fruitless attempts in contacting them to schedule. I finally decided yesterday to cancel the "deal" since I guess they are just too busy to even call a potential new client back.

I purchased a deal he posted with Angie's List. I called and made an appointment. Nobody came and nobody called. I considered it a "holiday" problem and called again, but was only able to leave a message. Nobody returned my call. Once again, I considered it a "holiday" problem and called after the holidays and spoke with him. He was apologetic and made an appointment to come out the next day. He never showed up and never called. I have asked for a refund because now I do not want somebody that unreliable and incompetent at customer service working on my home electric.

The experience was pretty bad from the start. Receiving a message through Angie's List stating that the provider couldn't access my phone number, I contacted the provider and let him know I would be calling the next day. When I called, he was in the middle of pulling a permit and said he'd call back. A few days later, I called again, not having heard back from the provider. Another call a few days later after that after, again, not having heard anything back. My last call was to Angie's List to request a refund.
