They were the most expensive for labor and replacement. I went with another company.

I have used Thunder Bay Inc. On three occasions. The most recent was a Leaking roof at My mothers house. As usual Erik was an absolute proffessional. My mother is elderly and I like to be there if possible when contractors come to her house as she they sometimes uncomfortable. Erik is so professional and put her totally at ease. Which I am so thankful for as I did not have to leave work to be there.Erik found the leak and fixed it on the spot himself instead of making her wait until he could send a crew out. A true working owner. Great to have the owner actually on site. He also put an aluminum roof on my uncles garage. Excellent job as well. MOST impressive of all is that Eric personally supervised the crew at the school in which I am supervisor of maintence. I was at my wits end with a leaking roof that 2 previous roofers could locate the source of. Eric identified and successfully located the source and repaired the leak. In and out in 1 1/2 hours. I WILL NEVER USE ANY OTHER ROOFING COMPANY !!!!!!!!!

We found that Thunder Bay Inc. was very honest and helpful. Instead of agreeing to fix a repair that wasn't necessarily needed, they were honest enough to recommend the work that was really needed. They don't do the small type of work that we really needed so they recommended a company who was very helpful to us and did a great job--a job that was really needed.

Knowing that we had several broken roof tiles, we purchased the Big Deal. Thunder Bay found additional work to be done, took pictures and showed them to us. It was obvious that we needed more than a few tiles repaired/replaced. They quoted the additional work and completed the job within a couple of weeks.

Erik and David came out and took pictures of the roof all over and examined the whole roof we had some leaks in our office and tiles that had slid down also openings around our vents, a week later they came back explaind everything to me with pictures and options to repair the problems they were both very professional expanding everything my husband was out of town so they told me if there was anything that he needed explained to him to call or they would come back to talk to him I was so impressed with their work ethics, after about a week the men came out for a couple of days and repaired everything we were on vacation and when we got back David called and talked to me about the repairswe would most definatly use againour recommend

We bought the tile tune up deal on Angie's list and Eric from Thunder Bay contacted us a couple days later. He came out to see what the issues were and diagnosed it right away. We bought a foreclosure and there were numerous broken tiles. He explained which ones were already fixed and the ones needed to be fixed. He had a roofer out the next week and he fixed the tiles with no issues. We did get a quote to replace the ones broken but Eric was up front and honest that replacing the ones that were cracked and already sealed didst need to be done. I appreciate his honesty and would recommend Thunder Bay Roofing to anyone needing a roofer.

Extremely well. Erik came within a day to give me an estimate and the repair workers came within two days. Erik, the office staff, and the workers spoke with me and told me what was going on. AND they fixed my leak area. I could not have asked for better service.

To my untrained eye it went well. Not my area of expertise and not the best view of a 2 story roof from ground level but they all acted like they knew what they were doing. All personnel were pleasant and professional.

I owned a house that was built in 1969 and re roofed in 2000 with an Altusa clay tile roof. In 2011, I noticed staining on the ceilings in a few rooms. I attempted to locate the source of the leak in the attic myself but I was unable to do so. I called a number of roofing companies before Thunder bay. All they did was look at the inside of the house and quote a price. Not one of them even went up on the roof to inspect. Most of them canceled more than once before showing up or showed up late. Thunder Bay was able to meet me early before I went to work, they showed up right on time to inspect the problem. Thunder Bay immediately went up on the roof. I was concerned they might break some of the fragile clay tiles, but they knew exactly how to walk across them without damaging them. Much to my surprise I was invited me to come up on the roof and inspect along with Thunder Bay. They showed me how to walk the tiles without damaging them too. I looked over their shoulder as they inspected the entire roof and he explained where and why it was leaking. They also showed me some areas that were not done properly when the roof was redone in 2000 and were vulnerable to leaking. Because their inspection was so thorough, I was expecting their bid would be the highest for the job. I was pleasantly surprised when I found it was actually the least expensive bid of the 4 bids I got! In 2012, I asked Thunder Bay to bid on putting a new concrete tile roof on a new home I was building. Their bid was competitive, but was about three thousand dollars more than another reputable roofer's, so I did not go with Thunder Bay. What a mistake that was! The roofer I chose created nothing but problems. His crew didnt speak any English. They were unspervised. They took out part of the roof to put the "peel and stick" waterproofing membane down because they didnt have a long enough ladder with them. They left material on the roof that blew off and damaged the neighbors property. They did a bad job putting down peel and stick on. I had to complain to the owner several times. He ultimately did come out and address the issues, but their performance really eroded my confidence in them. Now I have a lot of anxiety that my new expensive home will have roof leaks in a few short years. In hindsight I wish I had spent a few dollars more to have the piece of mind of Thunder Bay's quality.

They were able to fit in the job 4 days after we signed the contract. They were prompt, friendly, efficient. They were careful not to splatter paint and kept it off the landscaping around the house. We were very pleased with their job.
