It was a fiasco. All Synergy was concerned about was doing things even if they did not need to be done to rake the insurance company for money. We had to have them redo the tile work in the shower 3 times and it still looks like a child did it we just wanted them out of our house. Then they sued insurance and wanted us to help them and we wanted no part of it. Turns out the shower started leaking again this week and we had competent people fix it and they showed us how bad the tile job is and told us it will need to be redone if a couple years. Everyone should avoid synergy like the plague.

The owner, Cody Vogt, and his lead technician, Rob Harrell, have lied and withheld my $500 equipment deposit since January. My insurance agent as well as the adjuster from Citizens have made multiple attempts to get them to respond. I am pursuing every legal course I have available to get that deposit rightfully returned to me. My contract is crystal clear that they collected an "EQUIPMENT DEPOSIT" which should have been returned when they removed their drying equipment from my home. The company and these individuals are the reasons why we as consumers feel vulnerable & ripped off.

Very poor. In order to get anything done, I have to telephone or email. When workers do show up they work for a while and leave work undone. They have torn up my home and after six weeks all I have to show for it is a few pieces of raw sheet rock installed. This company does not understand customer service. I have paid them almost $7,500 and have nothing to show for it. Days go by and no one responds.

I have written several thorough reviews which have exceeded all character limits on all platforms. So, here’s what I have reduced the review to. Background: Our home is small; it is a 3/2 around 1,078 sq. ft. In January, we noticed water coming from under the master bathroom tub. We called a plumber. He couldn’t help, so he gave us a few people who he thought could. Synergy was on the list and had the best reviews, so we went with them. They showed up later that day and got right to work. This was January 22, 2018. The original project coordinator told us that this project would take a total of 9 weeks. We were so impressed (at first) that we were considering using the same company to convert our garage. Today is May 14, 2018. Many mistakes have been made since the initial water damage call. The bathroom issue became a kitchen issue because the water traveled behind the tubs in both bathrooms. Somehow, our bathrooms were mostly forgotten about during demolition. Demo did not go as we were told it would. Tile was wrong and had to be fixed. Cabinets in the kitchen are still wrong. Nearly every leg of this project has had to be reworked at least twice due to simple mistakes professionals in this field shouldn’t make. Mistakes cost money and time (for everyone involved). Most recently, our cabinets were measured incorrectly which lead to us receiving countertops that couldn’t be installed (we waited three weeks for those). After waiting another week or so, the correct ones were installed (today) by the company who manufactured them (Ruhl rules!). Those guys informed me the cabinets were worse than I originally thought. Sadly, the mistakes weren’t the worst part of the experience. I’ve been talked down to, yelled at, and lied to repeatedly over the course of this journey. The owner has attempted to blackmail me via text (Want to see? Truth is not libel.). Nearly all of my frustration lies specifically with how this company chooses to conduct business and how they “deal” with their clients (especially those of us who are female and therefore considered ignorant to anything traditionally considered a “man’s job”). Nobody takes ownership or accountability for anything that goes wrong; you get excuse after excuse. Then finally, they “do you a favor” and attempt to do it the right way out of the kindness of their hearts. Verbatim from our final project coordinator: “At the end of the day, your home has been upgraded, the products used are newer and of better quality than what was there previously.” Newer? Yes. This house was built in 2006 and remodeled in 2011. Better quality? No. Poor workmanship negates any potential increase in quality. Despite the issues that continued to come up, I still like the way my bathrooms turned out for the most part. The kitchen has grown on me, though I still dislike the cabinets. I’ve since removed the staples and plastic from demolition that were painted over. And we’ve made some minor repairs here and there. I do not recommend this company. January 22 to May 14, 2018. Entirely too long to deal with such nonsense. Still, the job is technically not complete as the plumber hasn't come to reinstall our sink and dishwasher. But, I am told they will be on their way soon.

I can't say enough good about Synergy! They took a horrible event and walked us through to completion. We now have a home that is better than before! We had a pipe break in the wall between the kitchen and dining room. We didn't know it until water began seeping through the laminate floor. I immediately called Dunedin Plumbing and they sent someone out. He did a great job finding the leak and stopping the water. My next call was to Synergy and Jeff came out and looked the situation over. Then the work began. They dried everything out, removed the wet wallboard, removed the wet cabinets and flooring. They assigned us Marc Blanco to oversee and schedule the work. HE WAS WONDERFUL! Actually, Synergy should consider giving him a bonus! The scheduling and work went flawlessly. Marc helped us find a place to live during construction, made suggestions and helped us through picking out all the necessary materials to complete the job. We were able to upgrade (at our expense) and now have a kitchen we love. The work was completed before expected timeframe and we couldn't be happier. Marc and all of the crews were polite, professional, friendly and diligent in their work. I'd especially like to thank David, Bashkin, Ted and Joey (granite guy) for a job which exceeded our expectations! Thank you Synergy - keep up the good work. One more thing I would like to add is that the neighbors could not believe that work was being done EVERY day - without exception. Unheard of with most contractors!

Cody and his team at Synergy responded quickly to our call and had a plan in place within days. They told us the insurance settlement offer would not be enough to do even a part of the repair and they would work for us to get the proper settlement from the insurance company. They dug a trench about two feet wide and four feet deep through the three rooms removing all the tile and wood flooring as well as removing all the kitchen cabinets. The plumbers repaired the plumbing and the reconstruction began. We chose new flooring for the rooms, picked out new cabinets and all the other things necessary with a major renovation. The people at Synergy handled most of the work under the direction of project manager Marc Blanco. He deserves major credit for all the work that was done, keeping it on schedule and keeping us informed of what was happening. He is an invaluable member of the team and should be highly appreciated by the company. All the work was done to perfection and our house looks even better than it did before the problem. They even offer suggestions on things you might consider doing while the house is in a state of disrepair. They don't force any thing on you, but let you know how it might enhance the project. It was a three-month project and done as promised. We are glad to be back and glad Synergy was our contractor.
Description of Work: We had a belly in our main plumbing pipe going out of the house and had continual backups every 3-4 months. Finally, the water backed up and overflowed in two bathrooms and the kitchen. We needed to repair the belly which was under our family room, kitchen and living room and then reconnect to the city pipes in the middle of our yard. Also, the pool bath had water damage and most all of it needed to be replaced.

He refusing to do the work to repair the damage he did. My husband finally found the leak in 10 minutes by just removing the access panel on the side of the bathtub The insurance adjuster said he didn't think it was the pan. We got a 2500.00 check from the insurance company made out to synergy, my husband, and myself. He said he would do the work if we pay him first. He is refusing to endorse the check as we will be happy to pay when he fixes the damage he did. I have 2 children and financially this is very difficult.
Description of Work: we had a leak in our upstairs bathroom .....we called a plumber who didn't know what was causing the leak but immediately called out synergy restoration owned by Cody Vogt. Without verifying he said it was the pan in the upstairs shower and cut a large piece of carpet out of my children's bedroom carpet. Still no verification it was the pan so they sent out leak detector who said it was not the pan but didn't know where the leak was that came through the ceiling into the kitchen. cody had the kitchen cabinets taken down and damaged the paint on them and the dry wall.

[Member Name Removed], I want you to be aware that you have a misunderstanding of Synergy's conversations with your husband [Member Name Removed]. Synergy is not refusing to complete the project without payment upfront, we are willing to wait until the project is completed to receive the check form UPC insurance. We are however requiring that you make payment of your $2500 insurance deductible prior to the work commencing. This project is not going to cost you any money beyond the $2500 deductible prescribed by your insurer UPC. This payment was discussed when your project was signed. Your husband [Member Name Removed] insists that the damage is in some way Synergy's Fault and he should not be responsible to pay the insurance deductible. As you are aware Synergy did not cause any damage to your home. We simply cut out damaged wet carpet that was caused by the loss in your upstairs bathroom. This carpet is in our scope of work to be replaced this is included in the payment that you received from UPC insurance. Synergy to date has not received any payment for services rendered. Please contact your project manager Mark Blanco at 727-488-5444 to arrange to start the work. He is prepared to get started right away even though hurricane IRMA is hitting this week. he will be available tuesday to meet with you and discuss resolution. If you do not wish to continue or need clarification please contact me on my cell at (727)647-2463 I am available today 8/10/17 and tomorrow as long as we have cell service with the storm. Thank you

All the work was done in a timely fashion and to the highest quality standards. I cannot say enough positive things about the courtesy and professionalism of their people. We probably dealt with at least 20 people from this company and everyone was great. They always kept us informed, showed up on time and completed every phase of the project as quickly as possible. I'd like to give particular mention to our project manager, Jim Romano, who called me almost every day and made sure my new kitchen was perfect!
Description of Work: Our kitchen needed to be replaced due to a plumbing leak in the wall. Synergy took care of everything! They cleaned up, tore out the damage, repaired the issue and dealt with the insurance company to make sure everything was covered. They installed all new kitchen cabinets.

5 days after they made me sign but NOT DATE the contract, as to milk more money from the insurance company, I told them to pick up there equipment. No show, when I called the next day, on a Fri, they said they could not get there that day, early next week was their reply, told them okay, the equipment would be held in a secure locked unit as I would not be home, and when they pay for the rental unit, I would tell them where it was. These people are devious scammers and disreputable. Beware
Description of Work: Asked them to repair the floor of my kitchen cabinet, which was water damaged by the garbage disposal. $3282.00 later, after telling me there was water under my kitchen floor tile, moisture meters checked irregularly, I fired them. No water damage to my tile floor, and they tried to make me pay for an additional 4 days of equipment rental.

[Member Name Removed], The information you have provided is inaccurate if you wish to resolve your issues please feel free to contact me. The facts here are you intended to collect money form you insurer and pocket expenses by demanding the we except payment of only your insurance deductible. ($1000.00) The amount of the emergency services alone is $3464.37 that was approved by your insurer We even offered to wave the termination fee on your contract if your resolve the issue promptly. Your insurer has approved replacement of your entire kitchen as a result of your loss. We do not determine coverage of your loss, in this case the insurer has approved the scope. You have been unreasonable throughout the entire process. Are roll was simply to help you through your loss and assist in making repairs. You have not allowed us to complete our roll although we are under contract to do so.

After just going through construction of new walls and windows from storm damage with another company, which was a daily nightmare, I can tell you that working with Synergy was like a dream! There is no other way of putting it! They have their own staff who are dedicated, professional, basically neat and clean for construction men, and are on time and really like the company they work for. I highly recommend them above any other company, and I am a perfectionist.
Description of Work: I had water damage from a garbage disposal that rusted. The entire kitchen had to be dried out and then rebuilt. Synergy was recommended by Scotto's Plumbing. The project manager, Marc Blanco, came in and quickly after the kitchen was de-humidified, lined up all the worker bees--demolition, cabinets, counters, painter, tile layer, electrician, plumber and cleaner. Everyone came in the order needed, and work was done quickly and correctly (a few little setbacks that were remedied quickly), and you can see by the photo, that the kitchen is beautiful! The best part is that I found a photo on Pinterest, and showed Marc, and he managed to build the exact kitchen for me within the budget given! I even got quartz counter tops for the price of granite (a big savings!)

It went very well considering it began in January and just ended in April. It was not an easy process, but because of the constant and diligent supervision, we have nothing but positive remarks to make. Dean Reed was the supervisor and kept us informed at every step. He took our phone calls and answered every question. The workers who came daily were exceptional. They always left the area in great shape. The tile installation was superb. The installer was an artist and worked tirelessly, even on a Saturday to finish. Nelson, the person who finished the job was also to be commended. Everyone had a great attitude and we are very happy with the finished product. We learned a great deal. Our Insurance Company (USAA) and Synergy reached agreement on the job.

I needed some time to write a review because having your kitchen down to block and living elsewhere for 4 months with a baby is a bit traumatizing. Now I am back living in my house, using my kitchen every day. During the rebuild, you have to stay on these guys. You have to drive the quality and design. No one is going to do that for you. But they never once said no to me and they were always professional. The cabinet installation took some time to get right but in the end we are very happy with the quality and function of our new cabinets. The floors had to be laid twice but again in the end we are so happy with the look and feel of our flooring. I have to specifically mention David. He came in at the end of the job and he was just excellent. He painted every room perfectly, he tweaked the cabinet hinges, he replaced some trim and he respectfully and professionally handled some tired, frustrated homeowners. All and all, Synergy got us out of a situation where our backs were up against the wall and gave us some pretty generous allowances.
Description of Work: Long story short - we had a leak, insurance was dragging their feet, pointing to anything but the actual cause. We finally called Synergy. Cody was sure he would find it and did which forced insurance to accept the cause and provide coverage. We contracted Synergy to do the remediation and rebuild.

From start to finish Synergy was professional and on-time with all scheduled services. Since everything happened during the holidays, and we had a planned vacation, Synergy was more than willing to work around our schedule. They kept their work area clean and left our home spotless when they left. I would have to say that both my husband and I were extremely impressed with the quality of work we were provided. As a last final comment, due to the amount of damage that had occurred, we had to make a claim through our insurance. I think it is important to share that Synergy made everything so easy for us and talked us through what steps we needed to take, which definitely eased our stress. My husband and I would like to give an extra special thank you to the guys who came out. Rob, Daniel (estimator), Dustin (Project Manager), Dean (Project Coordinator), and Tom (our painter), for going above and beyond with your friendliness and professionalism.
Description of Work: In early December the line that runs from our hot water heater to our ice maker broke, causing our dining room area to basically flood with the amounts of water that was coming through the ceiling. Synergy immediately came out within an hour and walked us through everything that needed to be done. They came out daily to check for any possible mold and moisture levels. After a 3-4 day 'drying out' period, we were clear to continue with the deconstruction of our ceiling. From there, our new ceiling was placed. Not only was the affected area painted, they also painted the entirety of the dining room so that everything would match. Since our ceiling is textured we were concerned that you would be able to tell that something had happened. However, everything ended up matching perfectly and you can't even tell that something had occurred. Once the damage was corrected with the ceiling they contacted a local plumbing service (Dunedin Plumbing), who replaced our new line with a copper one so that disasters like this could be prevented.

I was very happy with Synergy's lead contractor Marc Blanco who communicated so well with me throughout our entire kitchen and roof project. He consistently had his team working on the project. There was rarely a day where he did not have someone in the home and if there was any problems, he was very quick to have it corrected. He was very fair in our dealings together and I would absolutely use Synergy and Marc Blanco again.

All workers for this company were professional, the time frame initially given to me was worse case 3 months. However, start to complete finish by all contractors was less than a month.. for major work - the experience sent me over- the- top with satisfaction to all repairs and renovations. I can't thank this company enough!! Thanks to the plumber for recommending me to Synergy. Thanks to Jeff Smith for coming out immediately to arrange for the disaster recovery and setting up everything necessary so very quickly. Special SUPER thanks to Larry Harold, Project Manager, that made things happen in the fastest way possible, I had no idea this size job could be completed so quickly. The place looks stunning!! Thanks to Larry's crew David Colmenero, Danny Kuhl, David Rivera- dedicated dudes to delivering quality results in a short amount of time. Thanks to final clean up lady Lisa Pappas! -Sheri, Dunedin FL. :)

It was very good. At the beginning I was able to deal directly with the owner and was given a great project manager who helped me coordinate the workers and the permitting.

Soon, Synergy arrived, reassured me, and carefully guided me through the process of insurance claims and restoration. They took their time answering my endless questions, eased my concerns, and were respectful of my home. They paid attention to every detail I threw at them as the assisted in navigating the restoration process, which can be quite overwhelming.
Description of Work: Woke up one morning to find a water leak from a pipe in the wall that shared two major rooms in my home. The water leak had poured down and ruined the flooring in both rooms and the wall. Plumber came to fix leak and recommended Synergy Property Restoration to fix the damage.
