Description of Work: They attempting to repair dresser doors that were out of alinment. The two gentlemen worked the the dresser for approx thirty minutes, but could not correct the problem.

+ -1 moreMy husband and I had purchased a drop leaf cherry table from a local used furniture store. The table was in relatively good condition but unfortunately the furniture store clerk wanted to display some old fashioned grinders and had attached them to the table. Thus, the table had deep gauges and marks. We brought the table to a local repair shop and the estimate was $1300!! We were in another used furniture store in Dunedin (Denise's) and she recommended Silver Lining. We brought the table to them and about 4 weeks later (as promised) and at a cost of $450 we received a BEAUTIFUL table! We will use their service again and will recommend them to everyone!
Description of Work: refinishing of a drop leaf table. Removal of old finish, sanding, and staining.

SILVER LINING FURNITURE REPAIR offers the following services: Refinishing furniture includes stripping, staining, varnishing. We use the old fashioned hand rubbed varnish that provides a durable finish. We can color match to other pieces of furniture. Refinishing and most repairs are done in the shop. Occasionally, touch ups can be done in home. We are experienced with most any repair including dog chews. If it is wood we can fix it.
We do not do spray finishes as seen on most new furniture. We do not do outdoor furniture such as wrought iron. The only upholstering we do is dining chairs - in other words upholstery that does not require sewing. Recliners - we do structural repairs not mechanical repairs.
