It turned out we did not have a leak in our roof, but an opening in the soffit. They helped to repair it free of charge. Very courteous and knowledgeable, I would definitely hire them again.

Alex re-fitted the displaced tiles and replaced the tiles that were broken that day. This gentleman really knows the roofing business and he is very quick, thorough and efficient. We also have a number of rental properties that will eventually need new roofs. Sander and Son will be the company that we call. A tree limb fell from the tree and caused a hole in the shingled roof, Alex the owner of the company, came over the same day I called, saw the damage and repaired it without charging us anything. When I asked if he was sure about the zero charge he said "yes", I was here, I saw what was needed, and I had everything necessary with me so I repaired what was necessary. He (Alex) was very kind, very respectful and I would hire he and his company to put a new roof on when the ten year old roof is ready to be replaced.... Hire this company, you won't be sorry!

Outstanding service and quality of work and materials! Joey and Alex go out of their way to ensure the best service possible! When our roof began to leak, Alex came to give us an estimate. He advised us that they had a 3-4 week backlog, which was understable since we were in the middle of Florida's rainy season. At no cost to us, Alex repaired the leak and assured us he would keep the roof from leaking until they were able to do the work. When the worker's came to install the roof, they were tireless! When a storm came through, they placed tarps where necessary, and when it was over they got right back to work. After the job was complete, they they provided a wind mitigation report at no extra cost. Hire these guys, you won't be sorry!!!!

In gathering multiple estimates for my roof replacement, I quickly learned that a "guesstimate" is all you get from most roofing companies! But not so with Sanders & Sons! All the other top notch companies I spoke to, leave the "rotted wood replacement" line item, wide open! Some guesstimates might include 2 or 3 sheets of ply wood decking. Then if you press the point, they hand you a price sheet illustrating the outrageous fees that will be "extra" for rotted facia boards and sheets of plywood. (The pricing of this unknown can easily add $2-5,000 to your guesstimate!) Sanders was the only one I found, who includes replacement of ALL rotted wood in their binding estimate! That was very important to me, as this house needs total updating inside & out. So I need to know the real price for each project before I sign the contract. In reality, I found I was much more comfortable dealing with this "hands on" father & son company, than any of the "bigger" companies I called. The big guys send out a salesman to try and sign you up. But once that's done you are at the mercy of their in-house office staff to get you on the schedule & follow thru on all the details the salesman had promised you. (And they may or may not care, because you already signed & they have a hefty deposit!) This was not the case with Joey & Alex. The 2 of them are the " head honcho's" and we're there for me in a heart- beat to address any concerns that popped-up during the rip out & the re-roof! I found both of them to take what they do, very seriously. They did a 1st class quality job & my new roof looks awesome! And the bonus is, they are "nice people". RE-Roofing is a messy job by the nature of what needs to be done. It turns your Home into a "Construction Site", in a blink! The only little negative I experienced, was that the crew could have done a better job cleaning up the ground @ the end of each day.

Alex Joey's Dad came out first thing in the morning like promised and right on time. After talking to him I felt like he was one of the nicest and most honest worker I have every spoken to. He got up on my roof and found no obvious leaks and said the light in house that had dripped water was right next to a vent and at times if it rains very hard and the wind and rain are blowing a certain way this can happen. He told me if it happens again to call back. He could have told me I needed unnecessary repairs but he didn't. As a woman living alone I always worry about getting ripped off. Before Alex left he noticed by PVC gate to fence was not latching. I told him the guy that cut back some trees for me damaged it and wouldn't fix it. Alex spent 30 min working with my gate and fixed it so it would latch again. I tried to pay him and he wouldn't take any money. You just don't find people like this very often. I also have given their number to my real estate agent and she is now going to use them to refer people to. Thank you Alex and Joey for restoring my faith that there are good honest people out there. The work was completed as quoted and completed in time. The cost quoted included all materials needed to complete the job. There were no hidden fees or surprise calls stating more material would be needed. The rain delayed their start, but once they were able to begin, they did an excellent job. The two man crew worked hard to get the job done in time and made sure that all the messes made during the removal of the old roof were cleaned up and the yard was back to the way it was before the work started.

I contacted three companies from Angie's list for estimates to replace my roof. One company sent me an estimate based on a view of google earth with no discussion, Really????? The owner of second company came out. I felt good about the company and the estimate was fair. Then I talked to Joey (son) and met with Sander (father) and knew that they were the company for me! Everything was explained in detail as well as pointing out how their attention to detail in their workmanship was better than other companies. The dollar estimate was the same as the second company, but the job came with Sander & Son's warranty for as long as I owned the home. Joey pointed out how the manufacturer's warranty was often insufficient. In addition, their estimate was not contingent on any damage found after the start of the job, unlike the second estimate. The job was delayed a week due to heavy rains, which I expected. The workman were punctual every day. All of the workman were employed by Sander and Son. Joey kept in touch and was easily available as needed. His customer service skills were outstanding. There were 2 minor areas of misunderstanding, but they were resolved to my satisfaction. Near the completion of the job, Joey came to the house to be sure that I was pleased with the work. Joey provided helpful info about painting trim as well as cable wires, soffits and fascia. There was an area of concern that probably my responsibility, yet Joey had the workers caulk that area before he left.

These guys are great! They showed up with on a few days notice, matched a competitors quote, used a better product, and finished the compete roof replacement in a matter of days. I absolutely recommend them.

I'm telling everyone about Sander & Son. A great experience with a team of courteous, hard working employees and owners. Received my new roof quickly in an honest and professional manner. I am confident if I ever have a problem with it, I will receive an immediate response from this very reputable company.

Sander and Son did not call nor show up on June 28, 2017. I called them the next day and spoke with "Joey" he had some story about being on vacation and his father, who is not technologically savvy taking the original call and making the appointment, and then the phone got broken and that is why it was missed. He asked me to text the name, address and contact information to the phone number and he would see if he could have his father come out later that day, The information that was requested was texted and we heard nothing back that day. I texted again later that day and got no response either. I left later that day without hearing from anyone at Sander and Son, nor having anyone come out to assess the problem and provide an estimate. My friend told me that they did come out on June 30, 2017 and inspected the roof. The obtained her email address and told her that they would email her an estimate. It is now, July 19, 2017 and despite 2 calls by my friend, who spoke to Joey and a call by me wherein I left a voicemail for Joey, my friend still has not received the promised estimate regarding the repairs on her roof, I don't feel that the conduct exhibited reflects favorably on what is supposed to be a reputable business. The lack of professionalism and honoring commitments cast serious doubts on the integrity of this company and I would not be inclined to use them now even if they provided an estimate that came in considerable lower than their competitors.

I spoke with Joey about replacing a roof on a home I was purchasing. He said he could be out the following week on Monday to do a quote. My realtor informed the current occupants of the time JOEY had picked we were good to go. As far as I know, he never went out there as I called and left a message the following day with no response. Bad communication and not reliable as far as I am concerned,

The whole experience went great and most definitely would use their expertise again. If you need roofing needs I would definitely give them a call.

If I could give Joey at Sander & Sons 10 stars I would! Don't go anywhere else for your roofing needs! They were so patient with me going through the sale of my house and did a FANTASTIC job from start to finish. I can't recommend this company enough. Way beyond excellent customer service, superior work and the best price.

Working with Sander and Sons was a great experience from the very first phone call. Father and son, Alek and Joey, showed up right on time to review the work to be done and gave a complete estimate on the spot. No other sales people or multiple visits needed. A firm estimate on the first visit, in about 30 minutes. Perfect. This work was done as part of a new home purchase where flat roof replacement was required by insurance and it had to be done on a tight timeline. Sander and Sons were great about working me into their schedule and provided every bit of information required by my insurance company. Communication leading up to the work date was excellent and timely. The work went very well, and quickly. Alek was on-site to oversee his team (HIS employees, not subcontracted help) and took plenty of time explaining what was being done and why and showing me the whole process. He was personable and professional and very pleasant to work with. He answered many of my questions about the main part of our roof, which was not part of his project, and gave me a number of DIY maintenance and minor repair suggestions. What an excellent service and the end quality of the replaced flat roof is also excellent. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

It went very very well. I now have a beautiful new roof. I will hire them again for my next house I buy, if it needs any roof work.

In doing extensive research on roofing and top roofing providers, including the top six on Angie's list in the local area, Sander and Sons came out far and ahead of the rest. Interviews with the top providers proved the same. The work they did on the roof met the high level of expectations the company set. The company and employees are fast, honest, professional, and do quality work for a very reasonable price. I would use them again or anyone they recommend without hesitation.

They put on a new ridge vent - $700. We called about two months later because we had the same leak. Joey asked me to call his father (owner), which I did. The father came and took a look, this time went into the attic, which prior he did not (our fault for not asking I suppose). His professional opinion was that we should replace the roof. He did give us an estimate for that and for a patch job, but which he couldn't guarantee. When we called to get it set up, there was no follow up from them. The owner and his son were pleasant, but they didn't seem interested in following up with us at all. We had another company put on a new roof for us. Dean's Roofing -- excellent customer service!

Made appointment for next day. Showed up on time and answered all my questions professionally. Owner came back the same day and sealed the leak plus he sealed other areas involving the chimney. He even gave me a warranty on the work. I was very pleased. I would recommend Sanders and Sons to anyone with roofing needs.

I am a real estate investor and have hired a lot of roofers over the years. Never have I found a more responsive and professional contractor. They were also the low bid. No extra cost for replaced wood.....no mater how much. Cleaned up every day. They are now my go to roofers.

Job was delayed a little longer than expected, but the final job/roof turned out nice. We would use again and we have recommended to friends/coworkers!

Hurricane Hermione exacerbated some old cracks at the base of the roof chimney, which let in water and damaged the inside drywall. Aleks and his son Joey worked for three days Sept 3-5, including Labor Day, to discover all sources of the leaks, repaired all cracks in the roof chimney, repainted the affected areas, and re-tiled needed surfaces. The work was done cordially, professionally, and in a very timely manner, and Sander would only accept payment after completion. Sander offers a three year warranty on their work.
