Safer was referred to me by a new tenant who leased one of my landlord client's homes. They were so enthusiastic about them that when I started having serious ant problems in my condo they were my first phone call. Could not be happier - on time, very courteous and professional. Matthew David was even able to treat my condo right away, even though it was 5 pm in the afternoon. He took the time to explain the chemicals they use and that they are safe for me and my cat. No bad odors either. And even though Matt said that it will take about 2 weeks for full effectiveness with ants (they are harder to eradicate than most pests) I have seen only one or two just 2 days from treatment. HUGE improvement already. Highly recommend Safer Home Services and Matt David. The cost of service is for an entire year, once annual treatment but they will come back at no cost if you have any issues during that 12 month period. They also do a follow up call about 2 weeks after the initial treatment.

They arrived on time and did the work they told me they would do. They then told me another treatment would be set up to come back and check the results of their work. They returned on time and added to their earlier work. They took the time to listen to me, answer my questions, and do exactly what they said they would do.

I found this company because of Angie's List. Angie's List has let me down! It was a nightmare trying to schedule with this company, as they are very busy. That is usually a good sign, except in my case. They tell you they will be at the home for an average of 2.5 hours laying down traps and bait for insects/rodents. It took 1.25 hours, which was suprising. After a little while after the service provider left, I noticed "water" puddles in bathrooms. To my horror, it was the pesticide. My dog and cat had been in the bathrooms! In addition, my young girls asked what the blue "chalk" by their toothbrushes was. Their fingers were coated in the blue "chalk". Again, to my horror, it was the pesticide! Safer Home Services, in my case, was not safer than the company I used before. I am dubious that traps are even under my stove, dishwasher or clothes washer. However, I have not checked, as of yet. Needless to say, because the cost was $180 more than the previos company I used, I am deeply disappointed.

Excellent, outstanding service. Extremely meticulous, conscientious termite/WBO inspection of whole house (2600 SF). Very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Great communication with voicemail and emails. Punctual and reliable, and worked around our schedules. Made three separate 90 mile RT drives for us (!). Exceeded all our expectations. Great with our pets and very sensitive to health/environmental concerns. His expertise and honesty and integrity saved us from spending over $6k on whole-house 'Tent' fumigation, which 3 other termite companies had told us was unavoidable. Instead, he used high-tech equipment to trace and identify the live colonies and spot-treated them effectively. Saved us more than $5k (which we were prepared to have to spend on whole-houseTenting). Extremely knowledgable, thorough, informative, generous with information and expertise. Meticulous inspection of every square inch of wood in our 2600 SF house. Handled our complicated situation very effectively and cost-efficiently. Also (very generously) arranged for our antique Mexican furniture to be fumigated for us off-site, and returned. Just fantastic service, and at amazingly affordable, reasonable prices (especially compared to competition). We recommend him wholeheartedly. Totally satisfied, and still impressed at how lucky we were to find him. A pleasure to recommend him to others. Very trustworthy--a real rarity in the Termite business. He's a real find.

The company responded promptly to my Angie's list request for service. My technician, Greg, arrived on time. I got a complete description of the pest problems present in my home. The species of ant around the yard and in the house was positively identified. The spiders and wasps were noted as to the extent of invasion. A treatment plan was proposed that essentially is an annual treatment. It included application of safe-for-me-to-be-around chemicals to areas within the home, primarily by pressure injection of non-repellant insecticides into the walls. This was done in every room. All evidence of pests would be removed from inside the home as well - spider webs, little mounds of dirt from my ant 'friends' etc. The exterior would have perimeters established by application of pesticides. the exterior was brushed and dusted with appropriate chemicals and the yard treated with pellets/powder (?? - sorry I had not paid attention) that the critters would carry back into the colonies and proceed to both die off and be unable to reproduce. Greg was personable and professional throughout his visit and effectively demonstrated thorough knowledge and great customer service - all my questions were answered.

I worked with Chris, he had a great attitude and was very helpful explaining the process. This is so much better than having repeated visit. The once a year plan works for us.

I called Safer Home Services to come out to my house and do a pest control treatment and termite inspection. The tech came out to my house on time and was very professional from beginning to end. He explained the entire process to me before starting and then went right to work. He was kind enough to show me anything that he thought I should know or be aware of. He went through the entire house very thoroughly and completed his pest control treatment in a couple of hours. There were no sprays and nothing to worry about in regards to chemicals which is important to me since I have kids and pets. The tech spent a couple of hours completing his job and did not leave anything behind. I highly recommend Safer Home Services and will be using them in the future.

I was very satisfied with the service. I had questions and concerns before committing and the owner took the time to meet with me in person so I could express my concerns. He addressed every concern and put my mind at ease. The gentleman who performed the service was equally professional and polite. The guarantee that the company offers equals that of another well known company that I have dealt with (and have been very dissatisfied with). I am very satisfied with this company up to this point and feel I have entrusted the care of my building to a company that has impressed me as being sincerely intent on doing the job right. The fee charged compared to others was very reasonable. The owner is extremely personable (not with the usual distant typically superficial "big corporation" attitude). His genuine concern is a breath of fresh in the world we now live in. Yes, I would highly recommend SaferHome Services.

Prior company was spaying all my baseboards and causing me and my dog to get sick. With Safer Home Services all pesticides were placed in wall behind electric plates/ switches /in back of shelving. Chris was very professional. He only used spray on the outside patio. All bugs are gone and no one got sick from the treatment.

Excellent job, came back twice after initial treatment to add bait in the yard a no charge and checked in with us to see if the problem was resolved.

The Crew ( Chris and Ira) have been very good , they treated our home when we first moved in with excellent results. We have gotten ants 2-3 times since we started with them and they have been out either the same or next day and taken care of the problem. We like how most of the pesticide is outside the house as we have a nosey Jack Russel Terrier who would otherwise get into stuff that was applied inside. No spraying baseboards every month like other company's do.... We are very satisfied with Safer and most likely will renew

I can't say enough about the amazing service I have received from Safer Home. I moved here last year, and after seeing Jim's commercial reading pet friendly products I called to sign up. But, that wasn't the best part. Chris is just a great guy and no matter what issue may come up, I call and he is taking care of any issue I have that same day or within 24 hours. Professional, punctual, really great company and they are small enough to give me personal attention. I will only use Safer Home and trust them to take care of all of my issues. I recommend Jim and Chris without reservation. It was truly the best choice I have made regarding protecting my home and dogs from pests and termites. Great job guys and thank you!.

Extremely professional company. they did the initial application in May. we had to call them again after we saw a few more bugs, however, this was right after we had almost 30 days straight of rain so it was reasonable to see some insect activity. True to their word, as soon as I informed them of the bugs they came out immediately. had to call them once again about a month later and again they came out immediately. As a 30yr Florida resident, I know that this climate is a heaven for bugs and so far Safer Homes has been the BEST pest control I have used, hands-down! Chris, our tech, was a true professional and took extreme care around our furniture and keeping our house clean as he came in and out. I would absolutely recommend this company and plan on continuing to use as so far, the bugs are out of my house.

The technician came out today and was very punctual. We walked our townhouse so he could inspect and also discuss the process, what he does, the products used, etc. Afterwards we discussed the price, which was a discounted promotion, and off he went. About halfway through an installer came to install a dishwasher and remove the old one. He asked me to let him know when the old one was out so he could treat the area. It worked out well that they both showed up around the same time! He was very knowledgeable and personable as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

They were very thorough and really explained everything they were doing in and around our home. They were very professional and I enjoyed working with them. They explained how their process is different than others regarding safety as we have both children and pets. They do not treat surface areas, they treat the ground and get into areas where the pests are coming in. Their prices were very reasonable.
