+ -1 moreMr. Price came and assessed the problem (how to drop an existing in-ceiling screen in front of a newly-mounted plasma TV without hitting the top of the TV - keeping in mind the fact that the screen was built into the rafters and could NOT be moved - in addition, the plasma TV was already mounted as flat against the wall as was possible - still, it protruded just far enough away from the wall, to where the screen hit the TV every time it came down) - IN any event, Steve assessed the physics of the situation and designed a wooden guide that would also serve as an aesthetic addition to the screen/TV area. Finally, Steve custom-built and rounded the wooden guide (which was 90" wide x 7" high), and mounted it to the wall just under where the screen dropped out of the ceiling. Although I had tried many other ways to try and guide the screen when it dropped - the screen always hit the TV. Once Steve mounted the custom wooden relief, the screen easily slid off the rounded portion of the guide, and passed effortlessly in front of the plasma TV. A job well done - very professional - I wouldn't hesitate to use Steve again and I recommend him for any custom cabinet project, especially the difficult ones - because he's not afraid of a challenge.
Description of Work: Mr. Price designed and built a custom wooded guide (or sorts) for an automated projection screen that was dropping too close to a newly-mounted plasma TV - and hitting the top of the TV every time, causing the screen to buckle and fold-up on top of the TV.

+ -1 moreSince Price is passionate about his work, and he works well with all types of clients - and in all types of new construction or retro-fit installation situations. He is easy to reach, and keeps appointments. I would definitely recommend Price Cabinets to a friend.
Description of Work: I have used Price Cabinets on several occasions over the last 15 years - each time, I required a `custom' job - either cabinets that had to be manufactured to a custom specification OR re-manufacturing an existing cabinet to accomodate new equipment. Every time Steve has exceeded all expectations. Since Price Cabinets is all about custom-manufacturing - prices are dependent upon materials used and the time required to build - however, Steve warranties his work and refuses to leave a job until all parties are satisfied and he has completed the work he had promised to do.

We preform extensive custom veneer work in several cold press systems using the worlds finest materials. Furniture restoration for outdated or damaged cabinetry. All work completed at Price Cabinets, pick up and delivery services provided.
Installation services of products not mfg. by Price Cabinets. Remediation or insurance claim negotiated projects. We do not supply plumbing, electrical, or appliances, nor do we install these products. All cabinetry lighting can be included with the project when the connections to the home wiring system are performed by a qualified electrician.
