Description of Work: I had Theta Electric install an outdoor electrical plug in the front of my house. The electrician was punctual, courteous and efficient. Twenty minutes later the job was complete. I would definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: Theta Electric installed four recessed lights in our living room ceiling. The lights make the room much more welcoming. It went relatively smoothly.

Description of Work: Wanted $49 to provide an estimate. Simple job of replacing electric panel. Three other Electical contractors provided an estimate based upon our phone conversation and sending them iphone photos of box to be replaced. Theta gave me a "ballpark of $1,000 per 100 amp ($1,250)plus any additional time that might occur. Three other contractors were in the $845 to $898 range total. Yarborough Electric did a great job for the price qoted in their original proposal

Description of Work: The guy answered the phone gave me the wrong information about how the the service will apply for $225 for $49 deal. I called again to confirm what will be covered in the package after I purchased, realize it is not what I want. The co. agree to issue a refund.

Description of Work: They were very rude to me. They were unprofessional and were unwilling to find a solution to the problem. He argued with me about the appointment time - he said had no record of the appointment and no record of my contact information even though he had claimed to be in contact with me.

Description of Work: I had indicated to Dan/Don on the phone when making the appointment that one of the things I wanted done was to install a ceiling light fixture that I had bought. I had removed the burned out fixture myself, but I nearly fell and wanted someone to do it for me. When the young man came out I showed him that and the surge protector outside the house. I kept asking what the charges would be. I was stunned to find out that he was going to charge me $89 to install my own light. I was also surprised by the charges he estimated to replace the surge protector. The total was going to be almost $300!! I told him I would NOT pay that much to install a ceiling light that cost much less that his services. I thought the surge protector was high, but figured I would have to hire another electrician and take off work again so I agreed to have that done. I told Dan/Don when he called a week or so later how dissatisfied I was at their charges and taking $49 off their services when they overcharged so much was not a good deal. Later I got mail from Theta offering me a discount on further work. I was expecting an apology and instead was offered another discount on what would likely be overcharges for services. They did not address my complaint at all. I will not use them again.

Description of Work: They were quick to respond and communication was great. Professional and skilled. The price was a little on the expensive side and the coupon was a little misleading for what you could use it for. Fine print was there though. The main panel had to be rewired and the meter can was replaced as well as the mast to the main connection. They did a perfect job but the price may have been a little high. They come ready to work and will do a good job to code. Quick turnaround time to get them to my house so the convenience of that was valuable.
